Walk around inspection is so important. I cannot tell you how many times i have found a nail in one of the tires, check all tires including the tow vehicle. Also check inside to make sure the water pump is off and the refrirefrigerator doors are clicked shut.

Well done, great tips…I do keep a journal, I especially keep notes on the campground and favorite sites for future trips, area sightseeing, hikes, restaurants etc. I do not seem to meet a lot of people but I do have a cute square business card made with my email address and picture of my airstream to give to people I did meet to keep in touch with. I do not share phone or address just emails to stay in touch.
