Wow, nice video, saved us some $$. Went to out local dealer to take a look at a use unit they had. We were leaning toward a Atlas at 278k. But saw a 2020 leisure and was impressed. Our sales guy told us he was just notified that the were given a 2023 Unity MBL for a show coming up 1st quarter 2023. Loaded unit at 218k. 60 minute decision gave them 5k deposit. Saved 60k !! Thanks for the great videos
Was waiting for this video, and waiting to see what you would say about this new upgrade.I personally got to see it in the Hershey RV show, and my wife and I fell in love with it\.we loved it so much that we placed one in order.I know the wait is about 2 years, but that’s the right time for us.thanks for another great video and God bless you and your family.
Your videos are always well done and informative. I agree with the new lighting, it’s much more modern and stylish. I think the storage space for the table is just clearance for the table to rotate in an out, so it’s temporary storage at best. I love the idea of a leg less table. I also love the straighter kitchen layout, it makes the floor space much more open. The bathroom change seems great, the sink countertop is smaller, but I feel the space is fine, if not too large previously. Overall I really love the change and will need to submit a change request for my 2024 UMB.
Good job, thanks. I like it except the bed is much smaller. In one of the shots, Dean's feet hang over the end. Also, we have had a 25' Thor Gemini with an outside TV. Rarely used it. On our 2021 UMB we use suction cups, a projector sheet and a small i-Phone projector for a large picture. I doubt deleting it adds much storage but we'll see. I like the cleaner lines of no door there, where the TV resides.
We too have a 2020 UFX and want to change to the 23-24 UMBL. I find the seats in the FX living room to not be comfortable for me personally since thy don’t recline…that is a must for me. Also, having a larger bathroom is really important. We can make do with the current bathroom of the FX but the MBL looks quite a bit more comfortable. Can’t wait to get an opportunity to buy one (in the colors we prefer) and trade our FX in. Love the FX but the MBL really looks like the next move.
I had the opportunity to see the MBL (Unity and Wonder) at the Hershey show. It is gorgeous! Unfortunately, it's not what I need but if it were.... The light colors and all the windows just make the whole inside light and airy. Easy to stay inside on bad weather days. The reclining chairs were very comfortable for the "vertically challenged" me. I also thought the bathroom area was spacious, at least in feel.
We switched our Wonder RL to a Wonder MBL. One other advantage of the Truma climate package is that the A/C only requires 9 amps so can be run off a standard home 120 volt outlet. In addition to being super quiet with the furnace and water heater will be very energy efficient. For us what made the difference is the powered recliners, ease of making up the bed, led lighting, ventilation and lighting over the bed, slide out, level floor between coach and cockpit, ducted A/C, Truma Climate package, nice bathroom with macerating toilet along with more internal and external storage. Should be awesome with the Transit AWD.
We saw both the Wonder and Unity MBL at the Hershey show. The Wonder recliners are power, but only the foot rest moves, not the back like on the Unity. I'm not sure why it was different, but these are prototypes so it may change. Anyway we put down a deposit for the UMBL while we were there 😊
I like the changes. I have 3 TV’s,1 is where the new one is now, in my older 2007 freedom II Leisure and haven’t watched them in 3 years. I am to busy seeing things. So I would rather have storage. As you know you can’t have enough storage.
This is the model I have on order…hopefully by this time next year I will be in it! (Ordered Jan ‘21). Main point for me was safety and flexibility. Having a toilet, water, and can do all that with the slide in. Whenever I finally get mine, it will be me and my 100Lb pittie. ‘They see me rollin…’ 😂
How did you get an order in so soon? We put our order in at the hersey show right after the announced it. They said the build should start in 6 months.
You're right that the bed folding at the top to expose the windows gives a more spacious feel. We spoke to Don while at the Hershey rv show he says they will be using this new bed in the future in the FX
The outside TV is an expensive option, but so cool. I can see future tailgating at Oregon State with Pac12 or east coast games streaming in the background.
I really like the upgrades, the one thing I think could be improved is the TV placement.....switch the storage and TV, so you could watch TV in bed......I love the open floor plan and the lights.
Awesome! My first thought was how much I love the positioning of the kitchen closet to upgrade. Change the hinge position of door and add 135 degree hinges, Add a 110 plug in back of cabinet. Add a slide out countertop on bottom of cabinet to absolutely maximize countertop workspace (full wrap around counter). Another slide out on top of that for my automatic expresso machine and Birkey with room behind for supplies. Room above those for another 2 slide outs e.g. toaster shelf. Can you tell I'm a fan of high end kitchen hardware?
The lighting in the ceiling is fine. I'm shocked how expensive these Leisure Travel Vans are, since I started watching these videos nearly a decade ago.
That is a nice RV, we currently have a 2008 Triple-e Commander Front engine diesel FB3710 (twin slides), love the rig but time to down size and hard to find something that has the kitchen drawers, the living space and open design I think Leisure has a hit on its hands!
@@Pagosa Thanks for the Leisurevan winter info. On my WayfarerTW, at least my 2019, is good down to 17F. The Truma hot water circulating, furnace ducting to water area, and heat pads on the black/ gray water tanks. Drinking water tanks are under one twin, and keeps it warm enough. I added the Truma 12 volt heater and as a precaution I add a 1/2 gallon each of antifreeze to Black/gray tanks. We winter camp in the Oregon Mts, so can get out of the very cold mountain temps back in Portland. It not like a Minnesota deep freeze.
A few of these features were on the wonder mb, the windows above the bed, the kitchen, the move cushion to make dining chair. I love the new wonder mbl, but concerned about 2 issues for the tall, the lowered ceiling for ducted air, and the shortening of the bed from 80 to 74 inches.
The MB is good for one person. For two people the FX is the best.:). I can get up early make coffee hang out In the rear lounge and my wife can sleep in with the dogs.:) 🐶 they need to bring the leisure lounge design to the FX.:)
Having the separate room is nice, but we really like the bigger bathroom. I suppose if you want privacy you could always sit on the throne and close the door lol. Or use the cab or go outside with the MBL. My better half sleeps soundly so I usually work sitting up on the bed and put headphones on while she sleeps.
Brandon, thanks so much for doing these super informative, well done videos!…Here’s a question for you: what do you think about not having a couch-type option for naps, etc. on the new MBL?
As far as living space, I like the new windows and the kitchen. It seems there’s less storage space overall. I liked the door up front with closet behind passenger seat. I prefer a sofa as I’m single and would use the sofa for short rest periods. I don’t want any tv’s! I liked the taller pullout pantry in the previous models. I like the previous bathroom plan as it seems it was better for storage, especially as I plan to enjoy full time rv living. Early on there was a window over the sink area. It could be covered or closed; there was storage on both sides. All the other new electrical, mechanical, technical etc features are great as is the lighting Since I have a cat I’d like a pet door to access the litter box. Then a bay door outside for easy access for cleaning. I’ve wondered if instead of a tv, a desk could be there with one end used for “cat’s needs”. I like the idea of sleeping near the door in case of an emergency. I’ve watched Dean’s videos every year! Now I’m also enjoying your videos and insights. Thank you. May 2023 be a better year for ALL! 🎉🙏🏻 It’s been my dream to have one since 2010. I saw the 24MB at VanCity in St Louis
One thing I do wonder about is the lack of one arm rest in this model? Maybe you could rest it on the table if it is down? Have you heard if they will have this model to view at the Tampa RV show next weekend?
I like the new ceiling lighting, the extra side windows, the extra tall outside storage (folding e-bikes), the lithium & induction (more capacity would be better..) The table doesn't look good when stowed (I'm sure they can fix this) - but it is practical. Hopeful on the new Truma systems - time will tell.
Nice upgrades - especially the new bed. But overall I still prefer the FX layout with it’s rear lounge (even though it should and could be improved quite easily and be much more functional.
Don’t like that they moved the tall back storage bin to drivers side. We store all our go to stuff there & now we will be stepping around dump areas at campsites. Yuck. Love the new leisure lounge + and how you can convert to dining
I think the newer leisure lounge system is worse than the previous one. One example is the shifting of the tv further from the rearward recliner is less desirable. It just seems clunkier as a whole.
I’ve been watching your videos on leisure travel vans, just wondering if the person showing us the van even weighs 50 pounds or is he even 5 feet tall, is he an average person in weight and height just seems kind of deceptive when it comes to what people might perceive, just an observation.
I've seen theri original videos. What happened to the fridge? Dean said that they are still thinking of where to install the fridge. RV without it won't make sense.

@@Pagosa We will be, we are listing it in Autotrader.ca soon, I'll keep you posted!
I was wondering about winter camping capability. (Insulation, heating pads on tanks)
Don't think LTV will ever make that in the Unity or the Wonder. But maybe come up with a four seasons model someday.
