We have a 2024 unity twin bed and we looked at the Winnebago view and in our opinion there is no comparison. Hands down the leisure is built way better
I love your Winnebago, the only thing that I put that I saw it had wrong with it in your last video was the seats being worn. But I think those are after market seats, if I had to guess I’d say the original ones were light tan or a cream color. The rest of the van is beautiful. Love the cabinets too! I’m a bigger fan of Winnebago that leisure!😊
Nice video, and I do like your Winnebago! Maybe you should do the lounger in the same color of the seats up front. Also, I think that the rod in the shower is original equipment, and that it's used to hang wet clothing.
RE: generator while underway--hang a heavy wool blanket behind the cab--and your dash AC (or heat) will keep that compartment temp controlled really well without running the coach AC/genny.

Andrew, from what I have learned, JD Power value numbers hold little weight as they do not receive sales data on RV's. Their values are based strictly on a depreciation model, and not what used units are actually selling for. Yes, banks do use the values (unfortunately), but I'm sure Brad uses more accurate data points that he has access to for pricing. May actually be an interesting video to sit down with Brad and discuss what goes into his pricing (without revealing his 'secrets')
Hey Andrew great review and timely for me… I’m trying to decide between the 2 manufacturers but am waiting on the release of the new 2025 Winnebagos that supposedly will be released by 3rd qtr of 2024. They have released the new View 24T and are supposed to be rolling some of those features into the View/Navion B+ line-up. Given your clout in the RV world might you have any behind the scenes details or info on the 2 other 2025 floor plans and pricing to be released by Winnebago? Would love to hear your thoughts on them. Thanks for your efforts
Seems like a Wayfarer would've been an apt comparison. Especially with the aluminum horizontal-opening bay doors. Too bad RVMattress doesn't do hinged mattresses--that eliminates a lot of the market. From a space perspective, it seems like the navion and LTV are apples/oranges.
Safe to say MSRP comparisons are not a good indicator as much as OTD (out the door) pricing is. LTV does not do much for discounts whereas WB will do anywhere from 20% up to 30%. On a $180K MSRP that translates to about $40K in OTD price. Finance that at 6% @10 years and you are looking at an extra $20K. I don't know about you but $60 large ones is a lot of dough (inflation or no inflation!) The LTV may have a better resale value today but the way the US Economy is going, coupled with Green policies that drive up fuel prices, means we have no idea what the demand for RVs will be in the future. Keep in mind the dollar depreciated 21% over the last 3 years alone so comparing costs and resale without adjusting for inflation is a bit naive. An LTV that sold for $150K in 2020 and sells for $120K in 2024 is actually more like $99K in 2020 dollars. in other words, that $150K LTV lost 1/3 of its value in 4 years in real dollars (purchasing power from 2020).
I sold my 2021 Leissure twin bed last August for $140k Used,,where in the Hell did you see a New leisure going for $135k,,,I have not seen one list under $190k

@RVingwithAndrewSteele the bar in the bathroom is simply a towel / wet clothes rack and to be removed when showering. Pretty nice to have!
