My wife and I have a 2022 Unity 24MB. We’ve been full time for almost 2 years. You and your partner have to have a solid, loving, understanding relationship to full time in a rig this “compact” for sure. We do tow a 2 door Jeep, Wrangler and weight is an issue that we had to figure out (removed backseat, tow with around 1/4 tank of fuel, store only lighter items in the Jeep (paper products, Tupperware, small grill, fishing gear etc…). Before tow we averaged 17mpg with tow we average 14.5. I highly recommend the LTV, solid build that feels more like a home than an RV.
The MB has only one area. I recommend more the rear lounge that has two space area or the FX. Also at 25 feet, it is small enough to park in a lot of places, i would not tow a car, at best i would put bikes or a scooter (limited to 500 lbs hitch). If people need to bring more stuff i would recommend attach a small 4x6 enclosed trailer like a Pace American high quality with 15 inch wheel capable to handle 3000 lbs (i have one).
@@CC-gt3ro Towing is not an issue if it’s a two door Wrangler, you ditch the back seat and spare, tow on a 1/4 tank of fuel and are careful what you put in the back. There’s ways to keep the weight down to about 4000 lbs. it’s a numbers game but if you want to be able to jump in the Jeep and go exploring versus jacks, slide, hoses each time it’s worth it. Only thing that would’ve lowered even more was soft top versus hard top.
We are the happy owners of a 2019 Unity FX. We love it and I can’t imagine having something different. I will say, the price has gone up tremendously since 2019. Helps keep our resell high but not sure I could afford a new one today. I see a lot of comments on the Murphy bed. We love ours. It doesn’t take any more time or energy then what it takes to make a regular bed and it frees up so much space.
I have a 2022 Twin Bed model. I wanted a model without a slide-out because I didn't want the extra weight and maintenance of a slide-out. I will say it was a tough decision because the MB is a great design. I also went with LTV because of the very good quality and OCCC. Several comments refer to the limited interior space. It is important to note that the Class C motorhomes fill a need for people who are mobile, moving from one site to another frequently. That removes a big need for a toad. If I was living in an RV full time, a Class A with a toad would be my option. However, we use the RV to go from national park to national park with many stops in between. If we want to stop in a small town to wander around or a sight-seeing spot on the route, it is relatively easy to find a place to park.
We had a TB model too and loved it. The best part is the door that closes off the front area for privacy when needed. I wasn't keen on making up a bed every day and my husband naps in the afternoon while I drive so it was perfect. Sold it but going to get a 2025 model with the beefed up battery system to avoid the generator.
@@christymohammadi6214the best to my opinion is the rear lounge as it has two area too but it feels more spacious. And yes the 2025 is the model to go with 3k inverter the ac with soft start, 540ah battery self heating and the 12v compressor fridge. Also the gen is optional so you can save 200lbs to increase the occc. Also the unity has more ground clearance than the wonder (too bad as i prefer the Ford dashboard and gas option), so ltv can offer the 4 levelling jack ( badly missing in the ford model)
We picked up our 2016 LT 24 MB on Friday! I can’t think of a more perfect RV. Yes, the big RVs are amazing and beautiful but, this is perfect in so many different different ways for the two of us It might sound crazy to spend $89,000 on an 8-9 year-old class C but wow! This is amazing and such a blessing No rattle when we drive, everything is completely solid, the workmanship and quality of the build is exceptional Took him to the Mercedes dealer two days ago and found out it’s still under warranty! 120,000 mile Blue Tech Mercedes warranty! Wow We’re delighted and grateful for this new chapter in our lives. Our first RV!
Thank you. You are both a big reason for us even trying to RV. We really enjoy your channel and are definitely fans. Keep up the good work and thanks for everything!
People will pay for quality. I was blown away by the interior design and details on this RV. I didn't think this existed. Certainly not your grandpa's RV. Love it!
You should see there web site, this review did not touch on the quality of the cabinet joinery, on the companies web site they show Dean ( the comedic sales guy) hanging from one of the overhead cabinets like he's trying to do a pullup! Ya these RV's are nice!
Thanks for showing this! Had a Class C and once we saw this video we were on the hunt for a Leisure Van. Found a new 2024 MB and after a test drive traded in our 2019 Class C for this new van. Just picked it up this week and so looking forward to using it.
Love them Have a 21 Unity Rear lounge. Great thing about them is not needing to tow another vehicle. Basically the same size of an ambulance, can go and park about anywhere. Storage may look small but if you know how to pack there is a lot of room. Also the CCC is a lot on all models compared to the competitor's.
We have a 2020 LTV Unity Island Bed ( floor plan no longer available). It has a split bath & the shower is rather small but other than that it’s great for a couple of weeks camping. Last summer we camped with our two dogs & it could get a little crowded. We winter in a 41’ class A and that’s as small as we could possibly go for 4 months & not kill each other. Love the LTV for mileage.
Great video. It is a great company to work for and I love having the opportunity to build these fabulous units. The 2025 model comes in a 60th anniversary edition with black fixtures and many other special features. You'll love it.
Great review! One important thing to note is that all of the front Murphy bed models only have the two cab seatbelts so no carrying passengers even just down the street. That's an improvement. Several of the other models used to only have cab belts. Check that out if purchasing used.
I love when she shows all the storage ... drawers, fridge, etc. It's nice to see all the storage it has. But we don't see that much of them sometimes. You seem to be more focused on showing her talking than showing what she's talking about. 😁
These are nice. We have a neighbor whose daughter just married and they are refurbishing a Sprinter utility van into an RV. Very interesting to watch their progress.
I really like LTVs. I like the Wonder better because it is available with a Transit AWD and higher CCC. I was ready to pull the trigger on a deposit back in the fall of '21 on the RTB model. My wife talked me out of it. Turns out if I had I could have driven off the lot and sold it for $20k more than I paid for it to someone who wants to skip the line.
I have watched tons of RV vids and if we were to jump into this world I think the Unity would be perfect. Big enough for two but not too big to make some parks a no go.
Nice tour Izzy and MJ! It’s very nice with a nice floor plan. I like the Leisure Van. Radious shower looks nice size. Love the storage. It has great storage in the bath room. Thank you Izzy and MJ!
We have a 2021 unity MB and love it. I am taking it out of winter storage next week and getting it ready for the first trip of the year! Thanks for giving such a great tour of the new MB. Prices sure have increased by a bunch since we got ours in 21. 😮
The Wonder which is on the Transit is my favorite. The 3 main Canadian builders make great vans/B+ style motorhomes. However after viewing all the LTVs in person at the Tampa show I have to say their design elements are awesome but I was extremely disappointed with the materials used on the interior but I totally understand why they need to go with light weight materials and they make it work as best as possible. Customer satisfaction is high with LTV's but most owners complain about the interior.
@@gosman949now the wonder has equal quality, because it has same weight capabilities and even has AWD which Unity does not. We were really surprised too by how roomy these are with the slide. It's actually a half a foot longer than our Winnebago Class C, a good size! The lighting is really nice. We get about 12-14 mpg on the older 2018 Mercedes chassis, for comparison purposes. I still can't make up my mind on the murphy bed, if they are better in concept than reality.
Our 2017 Navion averages 14mpg from ATL to FL. We were getting 15 to 16 MPG before the massive environmental changes were made as part of a class action suit against Mercedes similar to what VW did. And we go through more DEF now. At 25.5ft, and narrow, The Winnebago class C's are direct competition to LTV.
@@earlhunt2815 that’s great mileage ! We haven’t gone on a long road trip yet , bought it used (2020 Vita 24F, built in Sept 2019 on an 2018 Chassis) . Went to Disney last week and got 12.9, but it was super windy). We do need to do the emissions recall/update
Am in the process of buying a 2012 24IB which has been discontinued. Love an island bed permanent setup. Separate shower across hall from toilet/sink - love a dry bath. When weather is nice, I like being outside cooking on my Blackstone, so I think this is the ideal size for us and much easier to drive than our 34’ class A! 2 TV’s for my S/O plus BR TV can go outside in entertainment center with speaker system. So versatile and HOMEY whereas other vans look so utilitarian. Can’t wait to take it home! Saved so much money buying used and getting a 3rd party inspection!
Great review once again. Although the quality of the LTV’s speaks for itself - it hard to justify the approx $60k price difference between the new Winnebago 24T VIEW that I am struggling with. As I understand many of the 24T features will start to roll down to the existing models and likely new models in 2025. That being said and given the current depressed RV market and huge discounts going on - I not sure I want to wait for several months to decide. Thanks for your great reviews
I just became aware/started looking at these. The price is a bit of a shock. However, I’m somebody that is quite frustrated with the industry-wide lack of quality in the American RVs so it’s not a dealbreaker if the quality is there. However, for some reason, it really makes it difficult when I realized that just three or so years ago these things had an MSRP in the 150s yikes. American RV dealers have giant lots full of trailers and motorhomes just sitting there rotting in the sun, while these things have a two-year waiting list and are impossible to find. That tells you just about everything you need to know. Anyway, I realize that both space and weight is a huge premium on these chassis, but if they could find someway to make these things cold weather capable, at least cold night capable, they would be nearly perfect for couples in my humble opinion. The Ekko is getting closer but it’s still nothing like these floorplans.
Love these !! But I carry too much #stuff... LOL. Great looking rig though and man the fuel mileage alone is enough to get me dreaming about it. We got just about 6.5mpg round trip to Florida. I guess I should slow down.. LOL
Even in 2019 LTV was hard to find. They are the top tier standing by themselves. Their OCCC can be increased by not optioning the auto level It adds about 300 lb. We first looked for the LTV but the long wait moved us to looking at Winnebago View / Navion which we did purchase. We're happy with the Winnebago but again the best of the best is LTV hands down, no argument, it is the best.
If you have a propane refrigerator, you must be within about 3° level. However, not so with compressor refrigerator, ours is marine compressor which works up to 30° from level. Auto level is a convenient option so one doesn't need to get out of the RV to put leveling blocks out. However, I and many others use the electronic device Level Pro which displays in inches the block height needed at each tire to level the rig. Since the RV is only 25ft long, this is easy and I'm not OCD on being perfect at every overnight stop. We much rather have the additional 300lbs OCCC than Auto level. We also gained about 40lb OCCC by optioning the Truma on-demand water heater which doesn't have a 5gal holding tank (5gal x 8lb/gal=40lb).
Bought a used 2021 Renagade on the same chassis and was concerned about repair cost. But, after 8 months and 10,000 miles, realized that those service intervals are far between. Finding a good service center that won't pull your eyeballs out is a challenge. "A" service ran us $650.00 with a few extras at 20,000 miles. Quoted approximately $1200.00 for "B" service, not due until 40,000 miles. But all that said, 18 miles to the gallon up and down mountains in 115 degree heat has made me a believer. Great ride.
Looks great for a rig to go somewhere in and spend a few nights along the way. I'd still need a place to stay in when I got there, too small for us to live in, 2 people and a dog.
this is a great coach...I love it...but i love it because it would work for me because I would use it as a touring coach...Im guessing you guys are 300 lbs not leaving much for camping equipment and cloths dishes etc....i know you guys are campers....so let us know what you can take with you in order to go camping.......thx....great review....
We always take our Weber Q grill, camp chairs and a 6 foot folding Lifetime table. I see no room for these essentials. We also need a good amount of hanging wardrobe space.
Had a LTV MB for a little while. Really liked it but sold it. Main reason was setting up and taking down the bed everyday just became a pain. If I bought another it would be the twin bed version. Great for two people but with two cats and a dog now it would be pretty cramped. Love the kitties but boy are they a PITA to take with us, which the Mrs. says is a must. We currently have a 5th wheel so plenty of room for all.
Love the LTV. Sadly, I am still in an upside down relationship with my 2021 Newmar Baystar 3014, which fortunately hasn’t lost its looks or wow factor. Those SnapPads you showcased seem fantastic. Just ordered a set. Maybe my betrothed (“Big Red”) will be good to me for a week or two if I get her a new set of shoes…
Great for shorter trips and more than adequate for two people to travel in comfort. The quality is a reflection of the Mercedes experience and personally it’s great to see something that doesn’t guzzle fuel. They are very popular in Europe where the roads cannot accommodate the class a American RVS especially in the United Kingdom. It’s not something that I’d like to spend more than a week or so in as I would definitely prefer more space to stretch out and be able to entertain etc. As this represents the majority of motorhomes in Europe of quality I would like something that provides more space and an extra bed. Prices for used models are definitely a lot cheaper than I’m seeing in America. Perhaps I should ship one over and use it to find the ideal RV for my needs 😉 Being a dual citizen I am tax exempt 😊 Thanks for the video 🥂
I’ve noticed customers complained of Mercedes chassis being underpowered and routine maintenance and/or warranty service is a long wait due to limited dealerships in U.S. Maybe the Ford Transit chassis with the powerful V6 and plentiful dealerships would be a better choice.
I really like the Unity and i am selling my 2022 Tiffin Phaeton 40IH and downsizing. I looked at both the Atlas TB edition and the Unity murphy bed lounge. At a dealer in Bradenton they wanted 10k over msrp and was not very flexible on my trade. The airstream Tampa dealer on the Atlas was much better with the trade and the price of the Atlas. The difference was about 37k when all said and done The Atlas 37k higher. The comfort, coach appointments, bigger AC unit, all electric coach, 4500 sprinter chassis we decided to go with the Atlas. It just feels like the LT Unity albeit a great coach are a little high on themselves and the product. It's all a matter of preference and the Airstream was the right choice for us. What do you think of the Atlas? Love watching your channel and thank you for all information you provide us. :)
Smaller tires usually means poorer ride quality and handling and maybe even load capacity. This unit would be great for weekend trips and "stealth" camping.
Not for me because: 1) Mercedes Chassis - I've seen a lot of people complaining about mechanical (especially electrical) issues with their chassis. 2) CCC - 1100 is not much if you are full-time, it may work for weekender or occasional RV'ers. 3) Bed - I am not a fan of having my bed right at the front door and by the front cab. You are obligated to put it away during the day just to move around comfortably of just do anything really. 4) Ground clearance - Not sure what it is but it didn't look very high. 5) At $222,700 MSRP leveling jacks should not be an option but standard.
Retirement check, SSA Retirement check, SSA Pension check, SSA Disability check. All have been earned & it's these people are looking for peace...not for a motorhome/rv that breaks in any form.
Nice, I was wondering can you tow a small car behind it, it would be even nicer if you can go to the campsite and park it and use your car to drive around the city.
We did a lot of research to find THE perfect RV and we found it with LTV. It is undoubtedly the best on the North American market, both in the quality of the materials used and in the interior design. The only problem with this company's RVs is not that they are expensive to purchase but that they are too expensive. Don't come and tell me that we get what we pay for. This price is simply the result of supply and demand and no one dares to say it
We bought a used one, so it was more reasonably priced and we didn’t have to wait the two years. We love it and you can’t beat it. Even though we bought used, the company has always been there to answer questions. We wouldn’t go with any other company!
222,700 no freaking way that's worth that much maybe 70,000 out the door price at most , its nice but not that nice and the ground clearance dont look like much a speed bump will probably destroy the underneath so and thats a big turn off

Know you will enjoy and have awesome memories in your LTV@@Grammapro
Do you pull a vehicle behind your LTV?
If you want to
Great review once again.
Very cool for camping Hawaii! I need my blow dryer or forgetabout it! Jason is 6’5 now? OMGoodness! Fill up that Maniac shirt!
Yes, it's insane how tall he is! When ya coming home?
Can you fully extend the lounge chairs when the slide is in?
Yes you can open the bed with slide in
@@EndlessRVing, but can you fully extend the actual lounge chairs when the slide is tn?
Is this unit sold in the uk?
Not sure. You can reach out to Leisure.
not unless you come to Canada, and ship it to the uk.
Love these !! But I carry too much #stuff... LOL. Great looking rig though and man the fuel mileage alone is enough to get me dreaming about it. We got just about 6.5mpg round trip to Florida. I guess I should slow down.. LOL
#LeadfootNortham 😂😂😂
Even in 2019 LTV was hard to find. They are the top tier standing by themselves. Their OCCC can be increased by not optioning the auto level It adds about 300 lb. We first looked for the LTV but the long wait moved us to looking at Winnebago View / Navion which we did purchase. We're happy with the Winnebago but again the best of the best is LTV hands down, no argument, it is the best.
Is auto leveling very important?
If you have a propane refrigerator, you must be within about 3° level. However, not so with compressor refrigerator, ours is marine compressor which works up to 30° from level. Auto level is a convenient option so one doesn't need to get out of the RV to put leveling blocks out. However, I and many others use the electronic device Level Pro which displays in inches the block height needed at each tire to level the rig. Since the RV is only 25ft long, this is easy and I'm not OCD on being perfect at every overnight stop. We much rather have the additional 300lbs OCCC than Auto level. We also gained about 40lb OCCC by optioning the Truma on-demand water heater which doesn't have a 5gal holding tank (5gal x 8lb/gal=40lb).
they are small but a van (size) for just a few more welcome to Wayfarer!
House great! Chassis? If you buy one and you want to do the A & B services and repairs right - hope you have a bucket of money!
Great ride.
Great looking RV. So surprised to see how much room is on the inside. The bathroom is huge.
It’s very big
Looks great for a rig to go somewhere in and spend a few nights along the way. I'd still need a place to stay in when I got there, too small for us to live in, 2 people and a dog.
Ralph and Alice lived in a tiny apt and they did just fine.
Do you need a step ladder to get onto the roof ladder?
There is a secondary piece of the ladder that you keep stored.
this is a great coach...I love it...but i love it because it would work for me because I would use it as a touring coach...Im guessing you guys are 300 lbs not leaving much for camping equipment and cloths dishes etc....i know you guys are campers....so let us know what you can take with you in order to go camping.......thx....great review....
Beautiful. Great video
Thank you very much!
You both make great sales people. However, I'm shocked at the 220k sticker price😮
minimum wage is higher in Canada, where this rv is made. so price reflects that higher wage.
Can you get it without an outdoor TV?
I have been in those. Very nice.
We always take our Weber Q grill, camp chairs and a 6 foot folding Lifetime table. I see no room for these essentials. We also need a good amount of hanging wardrobe space.
The outdoor storage on the passenger side would fit your grille, chairs and table
Thanks for the comment on the Murphy bed vs the twin beds! I did like that set up in the Phoenix.
With a fifth wheel, you have to carry the cats in the cab of the truck. How do you like that?
Gosman: They have a nice crate they stay in in the back seat
Works amazingly well.
No oven or microwave? Lovely unit!
Conventional.
Perhaps I should ship one over and use it to find the ideal RV for my needs 😉 Being a dual citizen I am tax exempt 😊
Thanks for the video 🥂
Lucky you, I need dual citizenship.
Love it except for lack of cold weather capabilities. No tank heaters or insulation on them.
Beautiful. How much can it flat tow?
4500
I’ve noticed customers complained of Mercedes chassis being underpowered and routine maintenance and/or warranty service is a long wait due to limited dealerships in U.S.
Maybe the Ford Transit chassis with the powerful V6 and plentiful dealerships would be a better choice.
Nice job on the tour
Thanks!
Atlas is a very nice motorhome
Love it but is that real wood or veneer?
No longer a diesel option on the generator. Sad! And the prices are insane!
Smaller tires usually means poorer ride quality and handling and maybe even load capacity. This unit would be great for weekend trips and "stealth" camping.
You need to review the Wonder rear twin bed.
Not for me because:
1) Mercedes Chassis - I've seen a lot of people complaining about mechanical (especially electrical) issues with their chassis.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
OMG...this woman looks exactly the same as founder of HERD Elephant Orphanage South Africa....they even dress the same...she is fantastic 😀💛🕊🌾
Looks like a nice coach! I want to know what the people who buy it do for a living.....Totally above what I can afford for teavel/ camping!
Retirement check, SSA Retirement check, SSA Pension check, SSA Disability check. All have been earned & it's these people are looking for peace...not for a motorhome/rv that breaks in any form.
& SSI Disability.
Love ours!
Holy Moly‼️‼️‼️ THAT PRICE IS NUTS‼️‼️
minimum wage is higher in Canada, where this rv is made. so price reflects that higher wage
That storage area in front of the tap would be great for ice 🧊 & a bottle 🍼 of wine 🍷.
What do you think 🤔
Whatever floats your boat! lol
Nice RV, but kinda small. Not crazy about a murphy bed. Two twin bunks that flip up out of the way when not in use would be preferred.
Nice, I was wondering can you tow a small car behind it, it would be even nicer if you can go to the campsite and park it and use your car to drive around the city.
Yes you can
@@EndlessRVing Do you know how much?
@@bishopgeorge1333 believe it’s 4500 lbs
Nice unit but slide-outs are a deal killer for me.
They also sell non slide units
One of my favorites in this class. But….no 4 season is a deal breaker.
Man the cabinets in the drawers you say everything is soft close but they make a loud noise when closing them. 😮
Smaller tires also = smoother ride and better gas mileage. Can it tow?
Yes it can
We did a lot of research to find THE perfect RV and we found it with LTV. It is undoubtedly the best on the North American market, both in the quality of the materials used and in the interior design. The only problem with this company's RVs is not that they are expensive to purchase but that they are too expensive. Don't come and tell me that we get what we pay for. This price is simply the result of supply and demand and no one dares to say it
You are absolutely right. High demand equals high prices and that won’t change with LTV because they still have a 2 year wait.
We bought a used one, so it was more reasonably priced and we didn’t have to wait the two years. We love it and you can’t beat it. Even though we bought used, the company has always been there to answer questions. We wouldn’t go with any other company!
@@MyLogHomeLife great to hear!
Nice RV
It sure is!
Well worth the $$$.
"Everything is soft close. Let me just ckose this." Then she slams the side door, which is not soft close.😂
I kinda lol'd also 😄
You promised a OCCC on this. Did I miss it?
Yes we did say it in the video
Nice review but the new 4 cylinder engine needs to be proven yet. I'm considering the Rear Lounge but will probably go with the wonder gas engine.
Very impressive
Nice video but all close up shots. Stand back and get wide angle shots down the length etc to get some perspective please.
Ok next time
Which show was this???
Tampa
222,700 no freaking way that's worth that much maybe 70,000 out the door price at most , its nice but not that nice and the ground clearance dont look like much a speed bump will probably destroy the underneath so and thats a big turn off
minimum wage is higher in Canada, where this rv is made. so price reflects that higher wage
You cant get a new pickup for $70,000 please show me where you can get a class b for 70k
You can’t even buy the MB chassis for $70
OK pls have it outside when we wakeup in the am .
Such a nice looking rig, just too small for our needs right now.
I hear ya!
You can buy a Tiffin Wayfarer for $158,000 with $71,000 saving. It is just my opinion.
Yep, but a LTV is a far better built motorhome.
I've never heard what the CCC on these things is. Being a Mercedes I would guess it's rather low.
We gave the CCC in the video
Merica!
Will they take a trade in?
Yes
Great Motor home!!
how much is it? start with the price!!!!
We say it in the video
