    I like the fact that I get to see the RV that I "think" I'll love but with all the "stuff" that people need to put in it and actually use it. I do have a sixty-pound Belgian Malinois and a small cat, they lie each other, and I've been to dog shows, so I know what to bring, but I'm still not sure 'how" to travel in an RV with my pets.

    • @wearetheschoolcrafts9390
      @wearetheschoolcrafts9390  7 месяцев назад

      We have 3 dogs (2 Westies 20 lbs each and 1 American water spaniel 45 lbs) and we don’t have any problems traveling with them. Actually this is a perfect RV for pets because it has a temperature control so they won’t get too hot or too cold when we leave them for 6 hrs or so when we do our biking or hiking. Also they’re able to find each of their own little “corners” to lay down while we drive, but most of the time they snuggle together and there’s enough room for all 5 of us.

    no joke, my mom is filipino who is also named Joy. Anyway, nice unit. I hope to have an FX or rear lounge model some day.

      Yup😄 Thanks, FX or Rear lounge is our second choice, but we just love the storage of the Twin bed, more practical for our travel lifestyle. Good Luck!! Check out also the FB group Leisure Travel Van Enthusiasts RV For Sale.

    Hey Ron and Joy we are enjoying the stuffings out of your videos! Please continue recording and posting your Unity adventures and tips. Our 2025 Unity Twin Bed is scheduled to begin assembly on July 4. That seems to be an auspicious date for our Canadian friends to start assembling our Unity!
    Would you please include links to the additions you have upgraded your Unity with. I still cannot think that MB has not included a TPMS on the Sprinters. I really think a 360° camera view would be standard in 2025 as would a recording dash cam too.
    Keep your Unity Twin Bed advice coming, people are depending on you😀.

    Is there a lack of power with the Mercedes?

    • @wearetheschoolcrafts9390
      @wearetheschoolcrafts9390  Месяц назад +1

      @@nomehdrider no. there is plenty of power. the twin turbo 4 cylinder has done awesome over the 25K+ miles that we have driven. we do the speed limit up to 75 MPH. (not interested in going faster in an LTV) we average 17-19 MPG and have had no trouble climbing steep mountains out west. during our 7K mile trip out to Washington state, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado we averaged 18 MPG at 75 MPH.

    sadly, that tank drain is going to freeze right away and there's no way to enclose it. bad engineering. lot's of people travel in cold temps.

    • @jamesvelvet3612
      @jamesvelvet3612 5 месяцев назад +2

      It has to be more that "cold" for water to freeze a tank drain :-) Most people with a "travel" van tend to travel to a warmer place when the temperatures hit freezing or they do what tens of thousands of RV'ers do: They winterize the rig.
