"I'll put a dollar bet there would be one of those riffs on the next album" - HAHA. You called it since they're everywhere on FI. Thank you for the lesson. You're awesome.

You are the savior for all of us hopeless, Tool obsessed guitar players looking to take a step up in our playing. Just by watching and learning from your videos and studying Adam Jones' playing, I've finally made it past that hump of being considered an "almost intermediate player"

I like the call the pull of thing he does "Jambi triplets". I find myself using it a lot in my own playing lmao, it just sounds so good.

Great stuff. Just getting into this type of music after a long, long layoff from guitar. Love the tool tutorials. Perfect circle as well. I heard someone (probably me) compare them to Black Sabbath in structure. Adam Jones is very efficient, and he does quite a lot with just a few notes. Very similar to Iommi’s style. Keep up the great work. I’m totally hooked.

With respect to that totally awesome riff that Adam does for about 10 seconds or so in Schism, Adam (to me) seems to never overplay his guitar. Rather, Jones choses to exercise some rather extreme discretion so that we will appreciate the fact that that riff is in there however, we can never get sick of it because he just allows us to get a small taste of it.
