That's good because there's like...over four minutes of it in the song XD. Invincible is my favorite. I love losing myself in the groove of that pull-thru triplet chug
Didn't sound like anything TOOL would bother putting on an album. Sounded like some generic drop-D riffs that a 12 year old could come up with. All the technique and absolutely no soul.
It's already been five years since Fear Inoculum came out. They either aren't interested in creating new material or they are the world's most tippy-top tier procrastinators.
@@daveweisbrich17695 years theyre probably still in a touring mindset. Five years is cd sales era production timeline. Theyre having to tune to drop C so Maynard can sing some of the songs. The reality is the ride is coming to an end
He’s comparing it to a $3,000 dual rec or a $4,500 Diezel so yes, comparitively it would be on a budget. You can buy a cheap helix unit and use modelers of these amps if you really want to be cheap, but of course the company that owns both Gibson and Mesa is going to recommend their stuff.
@@jayl5941 yeah I get that, but it shows how out of touch a company can be that they use the specific terminology "on a budget" to refer to a setup that totals up to over $3000. Call it the "smaller option" or talk about it from the point of view of lower wattage/lower volume, which he did mention. But don't try and imply that it's cheap at that price point. Disclaimer: 3k for a rig isn't a problem for me personally, and it's probably good value for that specific rig. But it's NOT a budget option.
I found using the fingertip works better and also visualizing that you're pulling your finger down over a slightly curved surface in an outward, downward, and then inward motion to stop at the 4th string
Throughout the timeline of Tools reign I've been playing guitar. I have never been given lessons, and never learned how to play properly. I'm left handed even but play a right handed guitar... Lol. Anyway, only til here in the past 15 years have I truly understood Adam and Tools basic rhythm signature. But I finally found it, and I also thought it might be time to have guitar complementary to Adams Original, and got me the Beserker Signature... I haven't got to play it yet, but from all I've seen and heard, it will be the final push into even more of the right direction... Keep going, spiral out!! 🖖🍻
While you finally decided to make Epiphone models of Gibson designs with the "accurate" headstock, you should consider offering the Les Paul Custom with the two classic Sunburst options (Vintage Sunburst - my personal favourite - and Heritage Cherry - the classic Sunburst that most people normally associate with a Les Paul) Having a "proper" Vintage Sunburst Custom (with no pickguard like Adam Jones' customs) would be sweet
Amazing sound and technique but so specific to Adam Jones that I feel anybody who uses these will sound like they're ripping him off. I think it's better to form your own unique style
I would buy one of these in a second. No doubt about it. I am 100% confident that I would own one of these already. However I am lefty. So they don't want my money. And please friends, hold back on the whole "learn to play right handed" nonsense. I've been playing for over 25 years. It isn't going to happen. Happy rocking!!
@@will_mcfarland oh believe me, I wish I had started playing right handed. But I didn't have anyone around me at the time to influence me properly. It is too late now. As a lefty, he should have some sympathy. I spoke to Gibson and they told me that he specifically has not signed off on a lefty.
If they put out a Steve Clarke Les Paul custom, I would be so excited. Been playing guitar for over 30 years. I have no idea who this Adam Jones is. His music does not speak to me on any level. It’s just what Gibson is pushing …really hard
Yea put out a signature guitar for a Def Leppard guitarist that was never that popular and has been dead for 40 years, great idea. If you don't know who Adan Jones is you better ask somebody, or Google it, or just stay stuck in the '80s.
First of all, the 80s were awesome and the music industry is currently running on fumes. The 90s were awesome, the 70s were awesome and yes there is even great music from 2000-today. I’ve heard snippets of this guys music, and it doesn’t come close to touching my guitar heros like Page, Hendrix, Slash, Wylde, Van Halen, Hetfield, Mustaine, Perry, Rhoads, The Hawkins brothers,Jeff Martin…the list could go on for pages. That said, I haven’t heard a single Adam Jones song that moves me. That’s my right. It’s not that I’m uncool or need to do a google search. I’ve been into music for a long time. I play 5 instruments and have been going to concerts before you hit puberty. Also, a yellowed white custom beats the pants off that silver burst.
My apologies…. But one heart felt practice is not the same as ego. Not even close dude. You didn’t wave through the albums… just practicing the same riffs for subscribers! Shame on you
I've waited SO LONG for an Epiphone Les Paul Custom in Silverburst with the Gibson headstock. This is the only guitar I want now.
Firefly Guitars makes an Adam Jones model for under $300
The Pull thru is so satisfying to play. That looooong part in Invincible - i can play that for minutes on end.
Easily my favourite riff - Lee
That's good because there's like...over four minutes of it in the song XD. Invincible is my favorite. I love losing myself in the groove of that pull-thru triplet chug
When that track resolves and opens up - perfection!
I absolutely love playing invincible, but that's probably my least favorite part of the song to play. It gets boring after a while
Playing Tool songs for over 27 years now^^
At least 1 Song every day. i managed to do the Pull thru perfectly.
Kudos!
Loving my Adam Jones Les Paul signature
Next on my list!
@@gibson Also loving my 2018 Gibson Heavy Metal Flying V.
Fantastic tutorial!
Love this guitar. I own one (standard) but replaced the chrome hardware with black + locking tuners.
Very good tutorial, thanks. I send it to my guitar students who played Tool music and they enjoyed! "un grand Bravo" from France 🙏😎
Rock on!
If I was just listening to the playthroughs I’d swear that was Adam working out some new shit for the next album. Outstanding work!
Thank you!

Wow. mind blowing.
It took me a second to understand where the extra notes are coming from 😂

Glad you liked it!
Love that silverburst LP. That thing is gorgeous
Thank you for the free lesson!
I love how the "on a budget" rig includes an amp that costs 1900 USD. I don't think you guys know the actual meaning of the word "budget"

What bridge pup does that one come with?

Why isn’t there a Seymour Duncan in the bridge like jones uses on his guitars and the Epiphone guitar does???
Too cheap? The Gibson-made one is pretty good but I swapped it out for a SH-6 in my guitar.
Is there any clinic by Adam himself?
Caesar put you up to this didn’t he? 😂 - Great job on the video though Dinesh!

what tool song is he playing
Dinesh actually wrote an original piece in the style of tool/adam jones
Adam Jones signature guitar sounds and looks super cool but if anyone wants to sound like him then just go for epiphone lp for much less money.
You forgot to add a bassist who can take the lead parts when you are riffing and the other way around ofc

your Badlanders need more gain stages
Artists dont want people to
Copy them, do you own thing and add your own sound!!
Use a 09-42 set.
No incorrect it’s Ernie Ball Paradigm 10-52 actually
for the real secret of his tone... wait for Gibson to buy Diezel 😮😅
Someone at Epiphone needs to think of us lefties. You'd sell a guitar faster than you ever did.
You forgot rule #1 make sure you’re in drop d tuning.
The epiphone is nice but for that price you could get an actual gibson
Diezel vh2 just as good
Use deizel, way better fuzzy gain
If you're not Adam Jones you're not going to sound like Adam Jones.
