The Weirdest Beach Boys Song on Each Album Pt 1 (Feat. The Beach Boys Basement with Steve Lewis)

Many Beach Boys albums have at least one unusual track that doesn't quite fit with the rest of the album. Today, Steve Lewis of the Beach Boys Basement and I attempt to find the odd man out on the 28 main Beach Boys studio albums.
This video will cover 1962's "Surfin' Safari" through 1973's "Holland." Part 2 (coming soon) will cover 1976's "15 Big Ones" through 2012's "That's Why God Made the Radio."
Remember that these songs are not bad (indeed many are quite good), but even a great song can feel out of place if it is very different than the surrounding tracks. As several Beach Boys albums were composites of multiple projects or featured obvious filler tracks, sometimes our work on finding the oddballs was easy but in others with a more cohesive feel, it was quite a challenge.

It seems the definition of weird changes as you go. Because if we are talking strange, I might go with Coo Coo Clock or Moon Dawg on Surfin Safari. She's Going Bald could also be the strangest song on Smiley. But if you define weird as what sticks out the most, She's Going Bald fits the vibe perfectly on Smiley Smile
