Something I dont think is mentioned enough with big fashion brands is their tight size tolerances and very for a lack of a better term anal specifications, like when you get a hoodie from one of these brands it is EXACTLY the right size and EXACTLY the right weight. The color is always 100% correct and sharply printed. designer brand's qc is a lot better than your average sweatshirt from amazon, etc. because its exactly fitted to the true size.
My local store has this shop where they gather shirt rejects from various companies. There were a bunch of supreme and other cashy cashy stuff sold under 7$. Lmao. Our family goes there often because some shirt selections are extra comfy.

When I was a kid at 15 (before being a professional) I would meet people at Supreme Skate shop. “Supreme” is a skate shop downtown Manhattan. I would show up there at 15 and sit in chair at the shop and watch premier skateboarding videos like “yeah, right” and after it was followed by a girl board toss after every viewing outside. Board tossed in air and grabbed by someone. Then I would head out across all Boroughs and go skating to film. - before supreme was a clothing line it was a skate shop and still is.

I have a sweater from them and it's 100% cotton and weighs as much as my Levi's and is soft to the touch. Even if you don't like supreme the quality is great.

Or people who appreciate the brands history and significance in pop culture and streetwear. I’ve learned about a lot of extremely obscure artists, brands and music through supreme, mostly from before my time. Mainly ramalzee, Daniel Johnston, Neil young, Capone n Noreaga, Sean Cliver, Nate Lowman, and the list goes on. No other brand has been able to replicate encapsulating so many identities, and forms of expression to a single word. Wearing supreme to the uneducated seems like a simple fashion statement, yet to many who know their shit, it’s an entire culture that accepts, and brings many different types of people together. That’s the real reason why supreme has the hype and exclusivity factor that it does. Do your own research, don’t be a sheep.
