This Raptor paint is going to be going on everything soon(not literally lol) going to coat my travel trailer front exposed hitch metal, my trucks hitch under truck. Going with 1k Raptor on my 22 inch matte black Camaro ss wheels that faded. Going to coat the front rebel style grill and matte black xd wheels that faded bad to almost ashey gray with 2k bedliner paint. Might attempt to coat the side steps on my Ram too, chrome just scares me for adhesion. Have a old harbor frieght trailer i will coat with bedliner also. Just need to figure out proper prep for going over old wheel paint(not peeling or any issues, just faded) and the chrome sidesteps.

Anyone know if any over the counter gray colors in the Raptor 2k bedliner paint will come close to mineral gray paint used on Rams, Dodge etc.

Do I need to put Acid primer or primer before painting with raptor if the black steel wheels are brand new?

@coco9004 I'd just sand them with a red scotch brite prime. Sand up to 600 if metallic. If solid color 400.
But if you have a sealer it would be a lot easier and faster. Use the scotch brite seal, then paint
