    The mono meals sounds basically a diet taking note of the Randle Cycle (though not limited to just the first meal of the day) which suggests eating either a very high fat or a very high carb diet. The high carb diet seemingly though can start causing health problems for many vegans after about 4 to 5 years

    • @user-iy8lt2ob5y
      @user-iy8lt2ob5y 2 месяца назад

      Why?

    • @dennisward43
      @dennisward43 2 месяца назад

      @@user-iy8lt2ob5y Because a vegan diet is deficient in some minerals and vitamins and with others soil depletion from monoculture is depleting them more every year. Farmers who rotate crops with animal grazing allow nutrients could be replaced. Most grains grown now (over 80%) are monoculture. Chemical fertilisers are not sufficient and insecticides,etc kill off the good bacteria in the soil.

    When he says have your first meal a mono meal breakfast but then shorten your eating window to say 6 hours. Does this mean you could have your breakfast at 1 p.m and last meal at 7p.m? In his book he says you can eat a handful of nuts whilst you are fasting and it will not break your fast, or cups of say tea with unsweetened almond milk. Have I got this right - Anyone?

    It's easy for me to go 18 hours without eating but it would be difficult to just eat one type of food at breakfast. Most of the time my breakfast will very with what there is available. Ofcourse I make sure that it is always something that my gut buddies in my microbiome would thrive on but it could be a variation of things. In order for me to simplify my breakfast menu, I would have to make a list of what falls in each category and make some changes. Not going to be that easy but thanks for sharing this information with us.
