  • Many Tibetan words end with a number, but number three is perhaps the most frequently used. For example, དཀོན་མཆོགགསུམ། (dkon mchog gsum), meaning "the three jewels" in Buddhism.
    A commonly-used Tibetan word ending with 'three' has been chosen as an example in each of the five major topics of discussion - religion, politics, education, food and art.
