I will show how to set up fabric textures next - exported from clo to blender. In another video I will show how to set up the skin shader of the avatar in Blender which should teach a lot about how the textures work inside blender :)
11:00 I did the same, exporting my Daz scene with only my avatar in A pose and walk pose (for example) in OBJ, I importing the A pose as avatar in Clo, worked perfecly, and then I try to import as "add" and "morph target" with 30 frames the walkpase.obj and when I click on "OK" the avatar just move by 1cm, like if he would do only 1 frame and stop Any idea on how to solve that by any chance? Thanks for all your tutorial videos, very interesting and clear
Check your exports from Daz in blender and make sure they are correct. Ensure you have enough frames in the settings when you import the morph target. You can also check in the animation work space in clo and the morph target should be visible in the time line
@@digitalfashionblender Thanks for your help! The Daz export setting are kinda simple, default one, so I think they are fine In Blender, I don't know what to check, but the both OBJ avatars seem perfect In CLO either I put 25 or 90 frames, it always do only the 1st frame. I can basically do this process 25 times and eventually I acheive the targeted pose However, in the simulation tab, in fact there isn't the red timeline visible (Start frame set to 0 and end frame 100) I didn't find any help on forums
Obviously i wanted ti say splendid tutorial, very clear... But when i import the avatar It appears an error window that says that the avatar has to be in A pose or T pose and something like that... And when i importe the albemic the avatar is on the ground horizontally... what should I do?
Are the hair imported too in CLO3D when you import the new avatar or is there something else to do in order to view them? maybe they are just visible in render mode?
can you help? I made sure to have everything in cm across all parts of the chain but I am still getting a totally flat avatar in clo. They look good in blender. When I export from DAZ to clo directly they also look good. where could I be going wrong?
I get an error alert when importing the obj pose saying that its incompatible with the current avatar. I a using the same avatar straight out from daz studio.
Hi, really great tutorial. I am trying to add poses from DAZ to clo as described in this video but it's not working on my end. Instead of loading the pose, I get an error message "incompatible with the current avatar". I was wondering if you encountered that issue ? The avatar comes from Daz too, I registered it, added the skin and the other textures, it's in A pose. I don't really understand the issue.
This means the two files you are using are not he same geometry. Export your two poses again from the same file and be sure your only include the avatar and not the hair and other small things like eyelashes and eyebrows. If you export two poses from the same avatar with the same settings it will work
I am working on a series showing the full animation process. I would advise you use your own avatars and avoid using the ones from Clo. It will give you more control in the end I think
I'm not sure I understand the question, this works with any pose - the video explains how to move from 1 pose to another, it doesn't matter what the poses are.
The daz web store. But I would say make and tweak your own poses, some are foot to start off with but need some final adjustments. There are a lot of characters and assets you can download and not too expensive.
Hi there, thanks for your videos they really helpful, i was wondering if you do some extra help for people on specific issues? your help will be paid, let me know ;)

I don't import hair into clo3D

Ive never had a flat avatar before. It could be an acid scaling issue but it's hard to tell. What do you mean by flat avatar?
I get an error alert when importing the obj pose saying that its incompatible with the current avatar. I a using the same avatar straight out from daz studio.
You need to compare them in blender or some other programme to see where the issue is. This error means the meshes are different in each file
Sosoosoo, good again,:)
Thanks! I hope it is valuable info :)

thanks a lot@@digitalfashionblender , it worked fine after I exported the two poses again
Hi master, where you buy that poses?
look in the Daz store, I took a base pose and tweaked it
How we can export our avatar from clo to blender with hair & makeup & shoes & walk etc?

@@digitalfashionblender yeah you're right as I add the new pose and change the setting it falls in place such an amazing tutorial thank you so much!!!
