She was left alone on a planet overrun with Zerg and was transformed into the queen of blades of the Zerg. Her and Jim Have had this love thing going since the first game 26 years ago!
Mingsk had a vendetta against her. She was one of the assassins who helped murder his family during the Uprising on Korhal, so when he founded the Terran Empire, he sent her to a backwater world and then had her abandoned when the Zerg attacked.
