Ron, As former Vietnam Veteran, let me say thank you. As a nearly life long wrecker operator and over the road operator let me say if I may that I love the professionalism you show is ALL of your recoveries. I started in the recovery business when the chains weighed more than I did. The Holmes 850 was the one that all of us aspired to and few could afford. Many of us made do with the Silent Crane Hoist or ex-military WW II surplus. Some of us, unable to afford either, or not findinding just what we needed, modified or built our own. In the past few years there have been quite a few shows on national TV about the recovery business, among other professions. Some of the things I and others in the business that I know, are downright scary in the way that they treat both the equipment and some of the damage that is routinely done to the vehicles recovered. Perhaps it makes for better TV. In my opinion, it doesn't for the most part cast the industry in a good light. You, on the other hand, both with your handling of the recovery, the respect you have both to the customer and safety officials, and your reverence towards our GOD, are to be thanked for the shinning, untarnished example of our industry.
Ron, after watching THIS video. I find myself thanking Veterans for "their service" more than have before. And I think this video was the starting of that. Thank You Ron.
I am so glad you found this content of value. I truly wanted to be in the military and I am grateful to those who have, are and will serve this great country. Thank you for watching and God bless.
Loved this Job. Super Friendly Guy and a Great 👍 Veteran who Served the U.S.A. Thank GOD for ALL our Veterans. We Enjoy many Freedoms today THANKS to your Service. 🙏
It never ceases to amaze me the variety of jobs you get involved in Ron. Here I thought that tow truck operators pretty much just towed vehicles. Thanks for the great channel.
You are very welcome and I am glad you enjoy the channel. I must say, I have been in some interesting situations before. God bless and thanks for watching.
Ron you got a heart of gold when you help our vets that truly means alot cuss I love this country that we all love in I started watching you when you pulled out a dump truck loaded with white rock and I like it all
It's nice to hear and see the nice comments to the veterans now days. When I came home in 68 it was a different story, I think we were the only soldiers who ever came home with heads down and no respect from the general public. Nice video and may all your jobs be that easy. Stay Safe.
Thank you for honoring one of my brothers. I also served from '84 to '86 in the US Army Artillery. I drove the M548A1 Cargo Carrier for my gun (8 inch Howitzer) and hauled the ammo and other supplies. My gun consistently dropped 350 lb shells into 55 gal. barrels from about 27 miles out. PFC in the 4th Battalion, 4th Field Artillery, Ft. Sill. OK
Thank you as well for your service to our country! I am grateful you made it back home safely. I cannot ever truly express the respect I have for our military past, present and future. Thank you again and thank you for watching my channel. God bless you and take care.
Thank you for honoring a fellow veteran. It’s hard to find people who are happy to do so in public nowadays and especially on the internet. Thank you sir.
I always take the opportunity to honor those who have served this great country. On our behalf, please offer him our gratitude as well. Thanks for watching and God bless.
Thank you for your service and I am grateful for your dedication to our country. I appreciate you watching my channel and the positive comments. God bless sir and take care.
Thank you Ron for honoring our Veterans. Your right this is a little different from what we usually see. Thoroughly enjoy your channel's content, I rarely comment but felt it's about time I do to say thank you for the videos! :) Stay safe out there Ron and Tow On!
I am so glad you enjoy my channel Brandan and I hope you continue to find value in its content. I appreciate your comments and look forward to future ones. God bless.
This video was a thrill just meeting a fellow vet! Ever notice how a vet can be a little more courteous than most? Great job with great people. Keith...
It was an honor to assist a veteran of our country. Yes, most are very courteous and I enjoy helping when I can. Thanks for your kind commentary and God bless.
I would like to thank you not for the videos but for your personally. I do enjoy the videos but I love how you greet everybody with a smile and a firm handshake. You do all you can to help people and when you have someone helping you-you are patient in your teaching your skills to your younger employees. I have dealt with several tow truck engineers here in Southern California and they are rude and rushing. Had one drop my car with it hitting 2 other cars then the driver trying to say it was a defect with my car then saying I did something the straps. It had to go to court with my insurance fighting the tow service. If more tow engineers were more like you it would be a better industry (at least out here). Don't change and thank you. God Bless You Rod Brown
I am always humbled when I receive comments such as yours. I have worked very hard to become someone that my family could be proud of. I want others to know wherever they are, whatever circumstance they are in, that I value them. Thanks so much for the uplifting comments and I do appreciate them. May God bless you sir and thank you for supporting my channel.
Nice video - when I moved from Texas back to Alabama this is the way one of my vehicles got loaded into the moving van. I thought it was very clever at the time and still do today. Seemed like a very nice guy - the kind you could spend an afternoon with swapping stories. God bless all our veterans...especially those from the Vietnam era who were treated so poorly.
Absolutely, I could have talked with this gentleman for a long time. He was such as kind man. I have relatives who fought in Vietnam and rarely if ever spoke of the experiences, but they were changed when they returned home. It is sad that they were not respected. Thanks so much for watching and God bless.
I totally agree. My father-in-law was career Army and served two tours in Vietnam. I don't know how it changed him mentally as I'm too young, but I know the ill health effects he suffered from his service down the road. There is a saying - "all gave some, some gave all."
I''m Canadian and I knew quite a few Vietnam veterans who came north because they were treated so poorly at home. That was in Ontario and where I live now in Calgary Alberta there's a Vietnam veterans association here all these years later. Any veteran but especially a Nam veteran I ever met I made it a point to thank them for their service. I think it's sad for anyone to feel so unwelcome they move to another country after serving theirs.
thanks for sharing this Ron , even the small jobs can be interesting , and giving respect to a veteran is a great thing , i myself served in the British army a good few years ago and always appreciate the smallest of kind gestures , your a good man Ron . stay safe and God bless from the uk
May God bless you sir and I agree that those who serve in the military should always be respected. I am glad you were safe during your service. Thanks for watching.
I was raised to be respectful and most of all grateful for the sacrifices our soldiers have made on behalf of the people. I cannot imagine what leaving my family for the unknown would do to me. Thank you and God bless.
Hello Ron and all those who enjoy his videos. Always a pleasure to shake the hand of a veteran. This video was interesting and a surprise to me. How you were able to raise the tow bed to the flat bed. That was cool. tks.. Be safe and God Bless.
I discovered your channel few days ago and can't resist watching one after another even if it's a long one. It's very entertaining and your positive attitude and outlook on life makes the videos a great watch. Subbed!
I just started watching your videos and enjoy them I am retired from the steel mill, as a maintenance supervisor. I like any type of heavy equipment and have operated most of it
Great Video Ron,as with some of the other viewers here seeing a job like this is a first for me as well.A job that you may find simple or "average" I find full of knowledge, and I enjoy and am glad to learn something new.Thank You again for your time in making this video. You and the crew Be Safe Out There,All The Best and God Bless
This happens a lot when you have cars and trucks for export. It is really fun to see them load a container and watch the driver get out of the vehicle. They always bring the skinny guy to drive.
Another fun video. Nice to see something that did not encounter any damage... Also nice to see you got to help out a Vietnam veteran... I have several friends who were in Vietnam and have a special place in my heart for those guys because they got so disrespected back in the day when they came home which I think is just horrible.
I agree about our veterans. We have family who served and they did not receive the honor and respect they earned. Our company holds all military in very high regard, it isn't easy to devote your life to others. God bless and thank you for watching.
That was interesting - esp. when you lifted the rear of the rollback like you did. I just keep learning new things all the time. Cheers from Indianapolis, Indiana.
I've been running a rollback for close to 20 years now and I still find new things and ways of doing stuff all the time.It really is amazing what you can do with one.As a matter of fact I had a neighbor just let the air out of my two front tires. He must have thought it'd be a big problem but I was able to reseat the tires on the beads by using our service truck like a counter weight and we just took the weight off of the front tires and aired them right up.It took longer to wait for the compressor to refill then it did to fix the problem lol...........I just cant wait for the day that neighbor needs a tow truck late at night ;-)
Another great video, thanks for recognizing our fellow veteran’s service to this great country. Nice to see a video where no life or property is at risk or damaged. God bless, another job with all three goals met.
It was just as easy as it looked. The best part was meeting the gentleman who owned the truck; a very nice veteran. Thanks so much for watching and God bless.
Thank you. Every now and then I get a clean job..in the day time....in the sunshine.....no weeds....I could go on forever LOL. Thanks for watching and the kind comments. God bless.
Awesome video! If the fellow in this video ever watches it, THANK YOU Sir for serving our wonderful country! Thank You Ron for the awesome videos! Stay safe and God Bless!
Thank you for your kind comments. I don't know if this gentleman will ever see this, but know I thanked him as well. I am so grateful for the opportunity to make connections with such amazing people in my job. Thanks for watching and God bless.
It is so nice to see younger men that can take a moment to thank those of the Vietnam era. While I think ALL vets should feel the gratitude of a grateful nation for their service, the Vietnam vets really got a raw deal from our country. That's why today I still have a hard time coping with the likes of Joan Baez, Hanoi Jane, John Kerry, and others. While I was in service from '63 to '73, I was not a part of the men and women that did go to "Nam, even though I volunteered twice (I lost a very good friend from high school in the early 60's and wanted to go out of respect for him). The disgusting part was that, even as I said I did not actually serve in "Nam, when over 300+ of us came back through San Francisco processing out from other SE Asian countries, we were warned NOT to wear our uniforms home as it was NOT safe for us to do so! Stories of our fellow vets being spit on, cursed, having rocks and other crap thrown at them....it was heartbreaking. And in the end, all of those brave men and women died in vain as it didn't change the outcome one bit. Our so-cal;led government sold us out with limp-wristed decisions that kept our men from fighting the way the enemy did. But, that's another hard fact for another time and place, not here. Thank you, Ron, for honoring that vet. People like you help make up for those that have no moral or patriotic compass to guide them.
Must be nice for you to go out on a "clean" job every now and then :) (clean, meaning you don't have any crawling, reaching, winching, dragging, or mass clean-up of the area to do after some wreck is secured.)
Oh yes!!! I thoroughly enjoy jobs like this one as well as those that challenge my brain. This was a very nice gentleman and I was glad to help. God bless and thanks for watching.
I have my class a and I'm a 25 year diesel tech. If I lived close to you, I'd be working for you. Guaranteed. You seem like one of those rare people that would be a pleasure to work for and with Ron. Love the videos. Oh, and I work at a Peterbilt dealership. Best truck in my opinion to wrench on and drive.
Thank you for such kind comments!! I have my moments as well as I am certain the guys would tell you LOL. Yes sir, you gotta love a Peterbilt!!! Thanks for watching and God bless.
I am _always_ respectful and grateful to all of our honorably-serving military and police Veterans, because they do/did what I cannot to preserve, protect and defend _our_ country. o7
We had an older wrecker at the yard in Torrance that was about to be retired. AAA wanted to know if we'd do a test- and I got to do it.. LOVED it. We put an older junker on the back of the wrecker (flatbed- or rollback- depending on what you call it where you are) and actually took it ot the track (test track) and ROLLED it with the car on back- and it STAYED ON!!!! Messed it up, of course- but it STAYED ON the bed. Talk about fun.. :) I've rolled regular cars, stretch limos, and NOW tow trucks.. (that was 97)..2 years before I got mashed between the two trucks and ended my working days..
Yes, this was a little different twist. I was very grateful to be able to assist a veteran. I have a great deal of respect for those who have served and do currently serve our great country. Thanks for watching and God bless.
Your videos are so respectful toall no swearing a real family channel and all I hope is other recovery companies watch your videos and with your permission use them in their training.. God bless my friend.....
0:17 Hello Ron, You worried me when you headed for your truck, I thought you were leaving, your WOOD behind. Great you brought me along through video. Thanks Bud.
Always a fun little job. I've even loaded a couple of Cessna 172s into a trailer this way. To make up for extra height, I throw blocks under the wheel lift.
Thank you for the kind comment. I was always taught to treat others as you want them to treat you; dignity and respect go a long way where I come from. Thanks for watching and God bless.
cool way to load that truck and look forward to watching all the new videos to come. God bless you and stay safe out there. and thanks for sharing what you do I eventually want to start my own towing business.
Thank you for watching and I wish you well in your journey to begin your own business. It is tiring, but more often than not, worth every sleepless night. God bless.
LOL sometimes when you drive this rig, I keep scrolling the page down to try and see under the visor when you are driving... DUH! :-) And since you know I am as well, thanks for helping a Veteran. More rare than you might think sometimes. BTW I am playing catch up as last two weeks have been spending a lot of time at V/A myself. Been wondering how that light is working for you now that you have used it a bit...
Haha I always thought they used a ramp. We picked up the company trucks with the cranes to ship out the pick ups we had a loading ramp at the yard. What a great way to do it.quick and easy no damage from a dumb rigger and slings.

Wonderful job. Pure poetry in motion. And such a great customer too.
Ron thanks for honoring our vets.
I have the utmost respect for those who have and do serve our great country. Thanks for watching and God bless.
Ron Pratt Whenever you run ELS and Sirens why do you run yelp most of the time i ushley hear Welp
Tim Elwood l
Tim Elwood I also like the way he respects everybody's privacy by asking an on the school bus he blurted the screen for the kids privacy.
I would told him it was on me, helping him get that truck up there. no charge. If it was just him needing that done and not the company.
thanks to the gentleman for his service in our military god bless our soilders & veterans
It's always refreshing to see someone with social skills and a genuine concern for humanity.
Thank you! God bless.
Social skills and care for others is a Priceless thing.
That was very good honoring vets your a good man Ron
Thank you. I am grateful to all who have, do and will serve this country. Thanks for watching and God bless.
Thank you for honoring the vet. My dad is also a Vietnam veteran
I always take the opportunity to honor those who have served this great country. On our behalf, please offer him our gratitude as well. Thanks for watching and God bless.
I've always enjoyed chatting with veterans, they can tell some stories and many are a riot to chat with. Cheers :)
Veterans are some of my favorite people to talk to. I have such admiration for those who have and are serving. Thanks for watching and God bless.
Love your attitude you bring to the customers and the work. And showing us a new way to use the equipment, wheel lift as a deck lift.
Very professional job as always,Ron I'm a veteran and thank you for honoring veterans.
Thank you for your service and I am grateful for your dedication to our country. I appreciate you watching my channel and the positive comments. God bless sir and take care.
I did a similar thing years ago when I had to load aircraft wheels. Not on this scale . I made it work. Nice one Ron.
God bless.
Another very goog job, very professional, can be easy, but we see how pride you are at your work!! Keep safe!! God Bless.
Thank you for your positive feedback. I appreciate you watching and God bless.
Great job in helping a veteran out Ron. God Bless
That looked like a fun one. Ron, You are a great guy and yeah, I agree, Thank you for honoring our veterans.

I have dealt with several tow truck engineers here in Southern California and they are rude and rushing. It had to go to court with my insurance fighting the tow service. If more tow engineers were more like you it would be a better industry (at least out here). Don't change and thank you.

I agree with Rod - it's similar out here on the opposite coast (MA). You're a breath of fresh air, Ron!

That was a joy to watch, Ron.Nice curtesy. And Salute to the trucker, too!

I was raised to be respectful and most of all grateful for the sacrifices our soldiers have made on behalf of the people. I cannot imagine what leaving my family for the unknown would do to me. Thank you and God bless.
When I was stationed at Offut AFB on all the hangars(aircraft storage) was this PRIDE = professional results in daily effort, you sir have it thanks
Jack Oostman I wish we still had motos like this. Excellence, Integrity and Service before Self seems to be getting ignored.
That was a super nice guy . Makes you like to help out folks when their good natured like that.
He absolutely was a nice guy. These are the time I dearly love working with people. Thanks for watching and God bless.
Hello Ron and all those who enjoy his videos. Always a pleasure to shake the hand of a veteran. This video was interesting and a surprise to me. How you were able to raise the tow bed to the flat bed. That was cool. tks.. Be safe and God Bless.

Man, is there a tow job you can't do?? You're good at what you do, but more importantly you're a good man, sir.
I just started watching your videos and enjoy them
I am retired from the steel mill, as a maintenance supervisor. I like any type of heavy equipment and have operated most of it
this video by far is my favorite especially since the driver is a vet & Ron I thank you for your service for that gentleman
Outstanding video, with an extra helping of professionalism and courtesy. Well done!
Thank you so much. God bless.

Ha I love that when you thanked him for his service! I do that every time I meet one of our service members.
This happens a lot when you have cars and trucks for export. It is really fun to see them load a container and watch the driver get out of the vehicle. They always bring the skinny guy to drive.

that just showcases the versatility of what these rollbacks can do.
Yes, they are pretty sweet vehicles indeed. Thanks for continuing to watch. God bless.
You're welcome. As a rollback I enjoy quality content and utilizing and knowledge I can learn.
This is the good kind of different. That went quicker then I expected since you needed some cribbing. Good video thanks for making/sharing it.
Another great video, thanks for recognizing our fellow veteran’s service to this great country. Nice to see a video where no life or property is at risk or damaged. God bless, another job with all three goals met.
Love how u put it on the flat bed. I never ever saw that in my life.. tks for the video
It was just as easy as it looked. The best part was meeting the gentleman who owned the truck; a very nice veteran. Thanks so much for watching and God bless.
Respect for this veteran and to you Ron for respecting him.
You sure know how to line up that flatbed square on to the trailer. Absolute accuracy in alignment, the trade-mark of a professional
By golly, that's one I've never seen done. lol Thanks Ron. I learned something today!
I am so glad you found value in this video. Easy on, easy off. Thanks for watching and God bless.
Yeah this was cool to see!
This video was great.. the simplicity of it.. Clean job, good weather, great customer.. Thumbs up Ron.. :)
Thank you. Every now and then I get a clean job..in the day time....in the sunshine.....no weeds....I could go on forever LOL. Thanks for watching and the kind comments. God bless.
Fun little trip. Happy to see you honor a veteran. I always do the same thing when I'm aware of it.
Thank you and yes, I always want to show my gratitude to someone who has or does serve our great country. God bless and thanks for watching.
Ron Pratt Don't forget to send me those measurements and pictures when you get a chance. 😉

Thank you, Ron, for honoring that vet. People like you help make up for those that have no moral or patriotic compass to guide them.
Great video as always.. Happy to see more videos of your day ... Stay safe,God bless and keep the wheels on the ground!
Thank you for the kind comments and God's blessings to you as well.

From an 11 yrs Nam era vet, Thank You, Ron.
Thank you for your service. God bless.
And, no rain!!
New Jersey Bill
And in daylight.

I've got more respect for you now than I did on respect for veterans God Bless you and your family and business Ron
I am _always_ respectful and grateful to all of our honorably-serving military and police Veterans, because they do/did what I cannot to preserve, protect and defend _our_ country. o7
If the veteran watches this vid thank you for your service in Vietnam and supporting the USA and the rest of the world and the world god bless you sir
(that was 97)..2 years before I got mashed between the two trucks and ended my working days..
thant u for your services RON and thank all the veterans u help .from a vet . god bless

0:17 Hello Ron, You worried me when you headed for your truck, I thought you were leaving, your WOOD behind. Great you brought me along through video. Thanks Bud.
PS: Ron you saved wear and tear on your J. Hook on this one. LOL.
I am so glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching and God bless.
Absolutely! Thanks for watching and God bless.
Always a fun little job. I've even loaded a couple of Cessna 172s into a trailer this way. To make up for extra height, I throw blocks under the wheel lift.
That was very nice and simple good job Mr. Ron Pratt
That was a awesome job right there I’ve done it before myself. Just wanted to say thank you to the customer for his service to our country 12:54

Thank you for the kind comment. I was always taught to treat others as you want them to treat you; dignity and respect go a long way where I come from. Thanks for watching and God bless.

I got the same truck lifted on 35 inch tires lol good job Ron god bless and god bless the us of a
You guys Really good for the country Thanks
So interesting to see you at work Ron. This is why I subscribed back over yonder when I did.
Awesome short run. You deserve a light duty run now and then. God Bless

Wow! Enjoy watching your skills. Thank you.
Ron, you have a great attitude whether its a crapy job or a nice job!
Haha I always thought they used a ramp. We picked up the company trucks with the cranes to ship out the pick ups we had a loading ramp at the yard. What a great way to do it.quick and easy no damage from a dumb rigger and slings.
That was cool!!!
God bless you Ron
Love you videos
Simple, quick, efficient and sent on their way. Had a fire truck off loaded from a drop-deck onto a Landoll and then to the ground in similar fashion.
