Majority of the audio courtesy of 22Tesla.
Plot: Bert has been silent snice his encounter with a steam locomotive that was about to be broken up and melted down for scrap. Arry remains unchanged though. Later when collecting a train of scrap from the UK, Bert's twin meets some engines he'd never thought to be put in the similar situation the steam engines all those years ago...
I don't own anything except the withdrawn diesels, Victorion, Moonracer coaches & Hammond reskins (Obviously)

An amazing adaptation! It's nice to see my other stories getting love besides the fan favorite Wandering Coach XD
Why almost no one else hasn’t bothered to do the other stories, I’ll never know.

Fun fact- There are a few class 08 shunter diesels still in service but there only used in industrial areas. Also a few of them where actually preserved.
Quite a number of 08 and 09s are preserved.
GWR has one. Total disgrace
Out of nearly 1000 of those Class 08s built, only a small handful are preserved or still in service. Rather saddening when you think about how successful they were.
I'm somewhat amazed that there were almost 1000 of them but now there's only 16 left
I love how this emphasizes how much of a safe haven Sodor really is
Now this feels like a real Thomas episode, the way how it's executed and the way how the story continues from Little details it's perfect.

now this, was an epic adaptation from one of the tales of the scrapyards audio stories aside from the wandering coach, you did an excellent job on this adaptation along with using the ironworks route i've made last year and for the north western 3D website too. anyway, nice job on this adaptation of arry learns the truth brad. 🙂👌

This was a fantastic adaptation. Arry really did had to find out the truth the hard way and it’s really horrifying to think about in this point of view, if I were him I’d get outta there too and I did not expect sandy to be here either. And the credits were very disturbing, hearing their screams of help is… haunting in a way

an interesting revalation just like what Boco once said that Diesels are not exempt from being scrapped just like Steam engines aint either. As time goes on the same fate will happen to Diesels they too will be replace by Electric Steam Engine Locomotives thru a process known as Elecrifacation.
It's happening now Arry may have encountered an electric locomotive that spoke to him the way he had spoken to steam engines while in the UK 🇬🇧
Still love the idea of a combiner transforms into a train.
This is the first time I've ever wanted to go out and buy a diesel engine and just hug it

anyone else notice, that the random steam engine at the end, that 'Arry passes in the station, (Victorion or something) has a very unusual and out of place old fashioned looking Coach, at the front of the train, when it leaves the station.
this gives me chills, as I've seen youtube videos of... "The wondering coach"
Definitely one of my favorites from this series, and how you handled it was amazing! Also it was great to see Hammond and Victorion again.
This feel like a episode that was lost. Especially with the camera effect. Really Good Brad
Great work. Would like to see Diesel 10 witness his fellow 42 classes being in a siding waiting to be scrapped. That would be one make him change perspective on steam and Diesels below him.
If Diesel 10 no longer became a villan, a newer and more powerful Diesel let's say a class 66 with a larger claw could be Sodors next worst nightmare.

I'm surprised that there's a Class 66 on the scrapline, as they're the modern workhorses of all the freight companies.
66s aint going away anytime soon. They'd only scrap one beyond repair.

Well of course none of the class 66s are being sent off to the scrapyard now.
Maybe it’s a Class 59? I may be mistaken since I’m American, but wasn’t the Class 66 just a development of the Class 59? Just as both are just an Anglo version of our SD40-2?

EDIT: But she DOES have the Autobot emblem on her tender...
She seems to do a good job of hiding all her bots away in train mode.
And she has the wandering coach behind her.
This was an amazing adaption to watch and its nice to see other adaptions get alot of likes and watched more except the fan favourite wandering coach and keep up the good work
The others just seem to get overlooked for some reason

I really hope Carson does a version of this. Never have I felt more sorry for diesels than this story.

Here's what happened at Vicarstown between Arry and Victorion:
Narrator: 11:07 If he had looked back, he would have seen two strange passenger trains connected to cables over the track. He would soon find out about them anyway. 11:17 He stopped for a rest at the platform at Vicarstown. 11:31 He was panting, traumatized, and out of breath. And then, he heard a familiar whistle. 11:38 He looked to his right. It was Victorion, the Autobot engine. Victorion: 11:46 Arry? What's wrong? Narrator: She asked. 11:49 Arry simply looked away.
What actually happened will be revealed at some point

Why were Arry and Bert back at the Vicarstown scrapyards though? Were they debating what diesel to rescue?
Also I would've made the two mainline diesels Old Stuck Up and Spamcan as in real life they're probably dead. I presume this story was set around 1980-1990?
I prefer to set it in present times unless their set in certain decades
I think it was a nightmare Arry and Bert had where they joined the other diesels in the sidings and were begging the steam engine who looked like Henry to save them
How about Bolwer? His running number existed in real life and was scrapped

Arry needs to remember that if it weren't for the steam engines they wouldn't exist. Also, he forgets that they'll always be better, faster, and stronger engines that will replace their sorry (bunker) someday. Better get use to working with steam engines as well as his kind if their to survive.
Diesels don't have bunkers Exsust would would be the proper term

I like this story. It give Arry a taste of his own medicine, and sobers him up to the truth that time marchs on with or without you, and eventually, it'll be without you.
In those final moments, Arry looking at the Steamengine...fantastic irony.
Bless me, what a story. I kinda both hate and love how I'm not so easy to be scared anymore. Still, very well done

Arry now knows how lucky he is to be on Sodar. The safe haven for all engines.
The best thing about this history, is that it is absolutely real. Steam engines are precious, loved machines. More and more get restored and preserved every year. Then diesels get scrapped and new modern ones get built.
Tbf also pretty much none of them are extinct. Arrys class in particular has like 200 out of 1000 remaining, half of those in service. There is still much more diesels overall.

Sony Vegas has pretty much broken them. Black frames have been showing up endlessly. I've just to decided to just rewrite them with proper scripts and better footage

Except this one it free to adapt, unlike the other that Narrow Gaige doesn’t want us to do anymore. Yet, some people have been disrespected his wish.
@@bradleythomasburdentrainta366 Indeed Its what happens as part of Techno Advancement As Time moves on so to does Technology the old gets replaced with the new. The same happens with vehichles such as Locomotives.
Kind of messed up though, given these aren't just machines, but fully sapient beings with personality. That does change things quite a bit.

I actually like this version more then the one with James.
Good camerawork, but the OC with that Autobot tender, coupled with those coaches and those silly meme voice clips thrown in, felt immersion-breaking. I'd say Sandy as well, but I guess since she was due to be scrapped, it was fine.
That isn’t just any engine, that is Sodor’s big friend, Victorion. And those aren’t just any coaches, those are the Moonracer coaches.
