- I've had a ton of fun making this. There are several mistakes in some parts of the video, but since this video took 14 HOURS to export from Sony Vegas, I really don't want to wait for that long again for it to reexport.
Fun fact, did you know the original documentary was made the year I was born (2003)?
Throughout the 1930s, the London North Eastern and London Midland Scottish Railways have been competing for passengers, and have also been developing a need for speed. The LNER's greatest asset was their locomotive designer, Sir Nigel Gresley. The LMS's loco designer, Henry Fowler had some good designs too, but none of them had stood a chance against Gresley's engines. When Sir William Stanier arrives from her Great Western Railway, he makes some designs that are able to compete with the locomotives of the LNER.
By 1935, the LNER had started Britain's first ever streamlined service and with the creation of the streamlined A4 Class, the LNER had created the world's first high speed intercity rail network. The LMS had their own streamlined engines by 1937, known as the Princess Coronation Class and both of them made speed record of their own, but it would be the London & North Eastern Railway, who would come out on top....
I don't own anything except the Jane, Princess Alura, Victorion, Sir Nigel Gresley, Mallard, Clarkson/Doncaster, Hammond, May, Stacy, Brad, Silver Link, Narrow gauge Thomas & Rebecca, Moonracer, Carmine (Only the LNWR livery, not the LMS livery), Sir William Stanier, Bittern, Golden Eagle, Dominion Of New Zealand, Union Of South Africa, Josephine, Annabel, D199 (Spamcam) and D7101 (Bear) reskins (Obviously).

Pause at 7:00 Clarkson: HAMMOND YOU IDIOT YOU REVERSED INTO THE SPORTS LORRY!
MAY:HAHAHAHA
You’ve Broken it
That epic man. Great Job
This is still one of my favourite videos. Just the amount of effort you put in to recording both trainz and rail works videos to go along with what was being said was mesmerising as well as the documentary itself.
Awesome video brad
A Thomas version of a documentary I use to watch all the time on a VHS taped of the TV when I was a kid, This is Genius.👍👍⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
When I made the original TV programme back in the last century, this technology was in its infancy. It's great fun to watch and the shots of the Coronation breaking the record work really well. If they'd been possible then, I probably have done something similar!
I just saw Gordon, Duck, Edward, James, Rebecca, Henry, Thomas, Reginald and the other Sudrian characters, given the thumbnail.
8:59 Clarkson the Powerful Engine: Hammond, you idiot, you've reversed into the sports lorry! (he barks; May bursts out laughing) Now you've broken the lorry, you've broken it.
Hammond the Great Western Engine: I mean, I didn’t know genuinely that was an accident! (begins to leave)
Clarkson the Powerful Engine: Don't just drive off, Hammond. (doesn't notice the embarrassed look on his colleague's face) Hammond! HAMMOND! (he calls after the retreating pannier)
Oh, man, that joke never gets old.
@@agentnintendonate1thee2tan89 Yeah That is too funny!
Noah: (laughing with Twilight and Pinkie Pie) Very Funny isn't it Twilight?!
Nate Will you stop goinhg online and Offline for just once?!
47:03 Now that is cool. A Pendinleno in InterCity Swift livery.
This is the reason why I subscribed
I’m your new subscriber
And of course it ends with Thomas and the rocket. XD Lovely work all around.
Nice how it’s on sodor
Hey I remember that video of the storybook of the railway story book! 45:51

Tonight: Everyone commits gas gas gas
You’ve outdone yourself again brad also I wouldn’t admit this if I wasn’t alone but Thomas and silver link should have an episode of their own and that scene of Thomas and mallard passing each other to quote earl from cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2 “it’s enough to make a man cry”
Power!!!!!!!!!!! Come On Clarkson!!!!!!!!!
Awesome Work Brad!
Me too I liked too 😄
No shit, I loved it to
@@dariusthedmirconsolidation3494 I was talking to Tyler no you sorry

Oliver: Slow Down Gordon You're Gonna Derail Going At That Speed
So that was what Pegler looked like!
I miss GNER and Virgin West Coast
Nice work this is probably the best and the longest video you have ever done.
Impressive work! Keep up the good work!
Didn't know you were born in 2003, the same year as this!
Amazing Video Well Done And Good Job Indeed 👏👏👍👍
How many train modes will Victorion have? Lol
I haven't seen many of your vids lately, but I didn't know you made a new channel, so my question is... why did you make a new one?
You might want to watch the first video on this channel to find out.
@@bradleythomasburdentrainta366 ok
Do I detect Victor Tanzig references in a couple of scenes?
Diesels should know they wouldn’t be around, if steam didn’t start the railways off
And that was going up hill with 22 passenger cars
43:55 28:54
I watched this at 10 o clock
45:31 so all you have to do to takeof streamlining is just yank of the front of the locomotive?!
Seems obvious for Victorion
@@bradleythomasburdentrainta366 Your right.
34:32 Princess Alura? Is that a Voltron reference?
Oh yes
@@bradleythomasburdentrainta366 Heh, nice!
Hey I have a question how were you able to get the nameplates on the LNER A4
I can’t figure out how to get the nameplate on when I type in the number
The only way fir the names to appear is if you type in the number. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
@@bradleythomasburdentrainta366 ok
Hmm, the Train/plane/boat race wasn't recreated in-game...
Understandable, as i doubt the game is even capable of such things.
Is this because of copyright infringement?
What?
Is the reason why you can’t show the locomotives from the documentary is it because of copyright issues?
@@COBO2 I honestly just couldn’t be bothered at the time
I Hate Trucks More Than Ever
Because Your J A M E S
Well this is different...
Take a railway documentary and replace all loco footage with shots taken in TRAINZ.
Seems obvious
@@bradleythomasburdentrainta366 It's quite funky tbh.
I’m my own opinion those British engines are nothing compared to American engines I mean just look at how fast the American engines go and I did a test in trainz with the daylight and reached 131 mph
20:22 Well i just learned a new word...
Braise
Fry food lightly and then stew it slowly in a closed container.
Cool
