The guard was stupid to take the bait and to say the shit he said in response (even though he was asked if this is Punjab or India, and he said Punjab, which was subsequently lost in translation to instead become "this is Punjab, not India", he could have worded it better)

This was absolutely brilliant. I had to pause to actually appreciate the line about Civic topics being mentioned as a part of history. The word-play on "Democracy, Secularism" being a part of history now was terrific word play - just brilliant!

I was mad when they removed Mughal history. Like they should've kept it we should know about the atrocities these islamic invaders committed like temple destruction, r@pe, torture, genocide. Or how they were so savages and barbaric and lustful that we have to literally come up with practices of Jauhar and Parda and Ghoonghat.
Not this history manipulation like Akbar the "great" and how he was secular yet he killed natives and destroyed their places of worship or how Aurangzeb was a great religious scholar yet he literally committed genocide against hindus and Sikhs.
I request the govt to bring back Mughal history and not the rosy picture that we were previously taught but the completely unbiased one.
