I figured by plugging in headphones the problem should be solved. Regrettably, the headphone jack is also set to 5-10% volume when set to full volume. Anyone else encounter this problem?
Well, ridge racer and einhander and resident evil are some of the ps1 games that run pefectly fine on it, on a 3 inch screen they are sharp as hell. Even gran turismo was running playably enough in another video to my amazement, like it was more then good enough to be a valid fun way to play it. gran turismo 2 as well I think. So, like, maybe not too far off? Like GT 2 on a 3 inch screen isnt bad looking lol. Or RE3 with the great pre-rendered backgrounds. And the box doesn't look much better then something like wipeout or einhander on ps1... Also, the homebrew, quake looks quite good too for example. You know what, I am actually wondering what the thing could do if someone went all out developing a native game for it. Like it has a 700 mhz cpu and some sort of graphics chip powering only a 320x240 screen. Something like on the box or even better should be doable I think. I mean, imagine, a pentium 3 and a geforce 3 can run this: ruclips.net/video/FLkb_9TZi4g/видео.html in 1024x768. Should be possible on this then, right, in 320x240? (like that level of graphics I mean, not that type of game, purely because of controls).
I wish reviewers would also look at the media playing capabilities. I always check out these devices when I get them to see how good they are at video files.
@@RetroCore Really? Most I look at now do great at 720p (although it seems a bit redundant considering the screen quality doesn't usually match up and video out is often 480i or 480p even in HDMI)
Just finished Megaman 5 on this today. :) Custom Firmware helps with some emulators, particularly SNES, and the screentearing. Is even developed currently, which is nice. Few strange things, the R2/L2 buttons, nice microswitches under there, apparently not connected to anything. And, the thing has a rumble motor! Very surprised when trying out, what was that one PS game, Suzuki Breaks out, and the device started rumbling... Notifies of low battery with rumble, too, which was amusing. @@RetroCore Excellent, can't wait to see you give it a workout. It looks interesting with a resolution downgrade from the 350m. Losing the HDMI and 2nd SD card slot, but gaining in cpu and ram ;)

Doom really is an exception, and its totally irrelevant, since it comes with native doom, which off course runs amazing, like it goes through it like a chainsaw through wood, and looks and plays a 100.000 times better anyway. So just play that. Every other gba game I have seen tested ran brilliantly. Everything from yoshis island to ff6 to sonic advance to gunstar heroes to even v rally 3, which is 3d and one of the most demanding and impressive games on the system. All perfect. THERE IS QUITE THE LIGHT MIRRORING OFF THE SCREEN? MAYBE HAVE YOUR OVER HEAD LIGHT OFF OR EVEN MAYBE THE WINDOW BLINDS CLOSED TO ELIMINATE LIGHT BLEEDING AND BLOCKING IMAGES ON THE SCREEN???

Try Sonic, Mario, Pokemon and it's very similar to the real thing. Top Gear Rally, Doom, Duke Nukem, you're gonna run into issues. The screen tearing seems to be an issue with most everything on this.

I know Mode 7 could slow down some games that were running full speed otherwise on some devices like PSP. And then there's the sound chip which probably adds quite a bit more complexity.
