I have nearly 100 Handheld Emulation machines, but in my opinion it has the best price-Performance ratio. I use it now for a year as my daily driver. Even it looks cheap its very durable and the screen is scratch-protected in your pocket too...
This is a cool little device for playing GameBoy Advance games and a lot more. For people who want to play PS1 games. The RG351P is fantastic choice but you have to pay twice the price of this handheld. I have them both and I like them a lot.
Yeah, same. I played Crash on GBA, didn’t even know that game existed. Was fun. I see this as like an old guitar you don’t mind if it gets scratch up. Is it a Gibson Les Paul? No. It’s just affordable.
@@ConsoleKits how cool is it that our daughters will know more about gaming than most boys?? I’m constantly telling my daughter about topics relating to gaming. I know your daughter knows even more!!
@@randyiron2 it’s cool. I asked her afterwards to tell me what each icon on this hand held meant. She figured out most of them instantly, but not “MD” - looks like we need more history lessons on Sega.
how would you say the electronics in your unit have been holding up since you got it? Just got one last week and love it! I got it for traveling because it takes up little space so perfect for airports/airplanes.
Holding up good. Was actually playing when I got the comments notification. 😂. I play it for like 15m to 30m every week or so. I jus hop into a couple games play for a bit, hope into another game. I haven’t traveled with it, but yeah, it’s a nice size.
I have this for 2 days now. About 4 hours of gameplay.. so I switched the theme the first time to the zelda theme it was ok. The second time i was looking for themes I accidentaly clicked on the start button while looking through the themes and the screen went gray. So when I turn it on it shows the nxhope bootup screen but then it just turns to gray screen and I can't do anything.. any help?
If you are using the original micro sd card that shipped with it then this might be the problem because these cards are very generic and not reliable at all. Your sd card must be corrupt. Your best bet is to replace it with a branded one. Go for the Sandisk brand. You could by the same way if you haven't done it already use a custom firmware to improve the emulation of the games and the user interface. If you are intereseted let me know and I will give you the link to the github page here. I hope this helped
Here you go: github.com/TriForceX/MiyooCFW/wiki/Custom-Firmware-Setup#pocket-go-and-powkiddy-q90-v90 Just follow this guide and your problem will be solved
Oh yeah before i forget, keep a backup of your roms folder wich has all the games in it so you can add them later to the new card once the new custom firmware installed. Happy gaming
I looked at that as well as other handhelds but wanted one of quality so I went with the Evercade and very happy I did. Great review of this little device. However, for nostalgia sake at some point I need to get a Gameboy with a back lit screen mod and Testris!
Pow Kiddy V90 - Is this Retro Gaming Handheld worth $40? HELL YEAH!! =D Micro SD card slot, Mature CFW, ability to play 99.9% of all SNES titles at full speed, ability to play over a dozen systems including arcade, PC conversion games, an AMAZING screen with amazing viewing from ANY angle. is this device perfect? GAWD NO! If this device was $60 I'd say, "Meh you can get better" If this device was $80 I'd say, "Piss off, you can get something WAY better for THAT price" If this device was $40 I'd say, "HOLY CRAP! All this for ONLY $40 what a steal!!" And it IS only $40! This device filled my "cheapest price for the Best Device" requirement. though now I'm looking at the FC3000 V2 now that it has CFW.
A "New" 3DSXL cant even run N64 games properly, so you will be waiting a long while. Theres lots of great SNES and GBA games in the meantime, not to mention the tons of other systems this does well.
Get an Android phone with a bluetooth controller like the iPega Red Knight. Pixel 2 is like $60 used and $25 for a controller. That’s my main emulation handheld, but I just bought the V90 because I wanted something more compact and a little more rugged.
Lol… as a resident Indian I know the difference between between a Famicom and a NES, your children should know better I wouldn’t be proud of you otherwise.
I appreciate the way you played several different systems to show how they actually work. Thanks for this.

Im so excited to get one of these!
For I think it’s the retro game rs97 it could play ps1 games and it’s $50

Was mariokart running super slow??? Does it work like the original??
@@Bizzare77777. MarioKart 64 does run on it but not exactly like the original
This would be really good for my daughter!! She would love playing in car. The switch cost too much to take in vehicles.

These low power processors on single board computers don't really suffer from wear and tear as much as modern systems.
That zoom makes your hands look huge 😂
Maybe my hands are huge 🤣
Will this thing let you remap buttons to a custom configuration?

Hey Justin great metal slug gameplay man, but I gotta ask...WHERE’S THE BLOOD?!?!
NO BLOOD NO BUY!
Wait until you renew the firmware it hundred percent worth the money I swear
Does Metal Slug have blood? :)
Haha 😂🤣
When a handheld has N64 games on it like this with a joystick, I'll consider

Rg351p, rg351m run N64 extremely well. Even some Dreamcast games run great on it.

A PlayStation Vita is your answer.
I mainly want it for the Pokemon games but I want to know if it has Pokemon Ruby and saphirre on the gba Roms
if it doesnt you can download your own but i think it should
Just waiting for Bethesda to release skyrim on one of these sort of devices jk
Lol… as a resident Indian I know the difference between between a Famicom and a NES, your children should know better I wouldn’t be proud of you otherwise.
For context Nintendo has never has presence in India because they’ve never considered it as a gaming market.
Not bad device though!
Does this play ps5 games?
do you mean, can it play 5 Playstation 1 games? Then yes!
@@ConsoleKits lol!!
What the hell is ninja tea balls?
Yes end of story no point watching!!
