Remember that dust on the BDR west of Bend. Well you drove past my home twice I think. Just a reminder to others Please drive slowly past the homes and minimize the dust. The dust gets old quickly. We prefer to air dry out laundry but it is not possible during the dusty season. Central and SE Oregon is great areas to explore. Some of our base camps have been occupied for up to 6 days and no others. Old rock pits or stock pile sites are some of the best flat camp sites. Love it.
@@LifestyleOverland same! But I couldn't deal with what was going on in Portland and Salem anymore. Plus the cost of living is outrageous there. So we did the hard thing and movie where it was super cheap and better for the kids
It was definitely dusty at that time for sure, a bunch of us came over from the valley using OrBDR route #5 and every one of us with chase lights had them on as none of us was able to see eachother outside of that. I was hoping to run across you guys at the expo but with the unrelenting heat, gf melting from the heat, and not enough time in the day we didn't get over to the area you guys were in. But glad to see you guys enjoyed the scenery at least!
Hey Guys: We see you are heading our way - we live just north of Gold Beach on the Oregon coast. Let us know what your up to as we would love to give you locations and epic spots to free camp near our home on the beach. Love your shows so much. Aaron and Mary
My girlfriend and I were just through there weekend before last, was in a bit of a rush though as it was Sunday and was trying to get up to port orford to visit a friend that I hadn't seen for years. We live up in Salem lol
I live in Kentucky and would like to know some overlanding spots for the people on the east side if you could make a video on that of your recommendations
Kevin. How can i order ur merchandise? The mugs, cups, t shirt, jacket and including the jet boil, french press and coffee grinder. Im from philippines. Maybe you can guide me. Always watching ur vlog. The smile of ur baby abby makes our day complete. ☝😇☝
I live near the Sierra California mountains. I’ve never used my rooftop tent but want to not go out alone. I would love to go explore with someone who is more advanced with overhanging. I’m trying to get my 12 year old to go with me, but she’s at that age she doesn’t want to go camp.
Curious, why stay in an Airbnb when you have the trailer and 2 RTT? Another great video! I think you and your family are what helped me convince my wife to dive into this lifestyle.
Because screaming babies at events with other campers isn't courteous. Plus if we're there then we never stop talking to folks which makes it rough by Sunday, lol. Glad you enjoyed it!
I was just watching a fairy extensive YT video on the Overland Mountain West Expo and noticed that Toyota vehicles dominated. I have a Jeep Wrangler and can say that it is average at best. You have had experience with Toyota vehicles for quite some time. What is the appeal of these vehicles over the other brands.

This episode is absolutely the truly wonderful shots of families friendship, and of course little Abagal.
Small world. Myself and few friends were just there at that cinder pit over labor day weekend. On our way to old fire towers.
Haha! That's awesome
I'm salivating over here! Love the happy baby sounds, smiles, and kicks. Looks like everyone had a great time.
Glad we could make ya hungry! 🤣👍 We had a blast!
Another great video! All the baby footage made it extra fun to watch.
Beautiful family Kev!
Thanks so much!
Beautiful 🤠🙏❤️
I just hope that one day our families will cross paths on the trails so you can share some stories with the wife and babies. Be safe and blessed
Always a treat to watch your adventures. My wife and i start another, Florida to Glacier and back
Lived in Redmond my whole life, until a few years ago. Trail dust is just a way of life in the High Desert. Now I live in wet muggy Kansas 😂
I'll take dust over humidity any day of the week!

It was quite toasty as expo so we totally understand! We had a blast on the trails too.
@@LifestyleOverland glad to hear it! Hope you guys come out this way more often

Here we go!
Excellent, hope you saved me some food🤣🤩😎⭐️
☺️💕
More good food!! yum yum. It didn't occur to me until now, but what frequency you do use for rig to rig comms?
Kevin, I guess we live and we learn.

That pork loin is some of the best meat out there IMO, and where I get it, the cheapest meat in the store too.

What camp pot are you using? 😊

Would you feel comfortable towing the trailer with the 4runner?
We just bought an Xpedition Voyager and have a 5th Gen 4Runner. Not a ton of miles so far, but it's been fine.

watched it on mute, so not sure if it was mentioned but can you stand up in the trailer because the RTT is a pass through?
Kevin just put the camera on a chest mount with Abigail and sit down and eat.
its pollen and years of ground down needles.
