This is what I call Hype.
Hype for quality content. No seriously. I know its just three friends sitting together, drinking aduld juices and giving a powerpoint presentation for one another, but its so good. Your lore dumps are helping me thought a really dark time this year and Im always so happy when a new episode drops, and this is rare these days.
So thank you all three (or four if we count the Noobus guest appearance, what I do). Thank you for such good content. May your silly plots and story telling talents be loved every year to come!
I'm so afraid of the Yakuza lore dump. Can't even imagine how long will it take to cover the entire plot of all games. But at the same time I'm really excited for a reaction of your one particular friend. Surely the divine writing will make him so happy.

Everything looks great, but my god am i excited for Yakuza. What a wild ride that series is.
I hope y'all are able to incorporate at least some small cuts to a few sidequests and things like Majima Everywhere.
As much as I love the serious side of the main plot of the Yakuza games, i feel like you can't capture the spirit of that franchise exclusively from the crime drama main story. Sometimes you just need a chicken property manager, a dancing zombie man, or kicking childrens' asses at toy car racing.
EDIT: Although I'm seeing some banging karaoke in there, so hopefully you're already olanning to show just how wonderfully werid the series is!

Was lowkey kinda hoping to see Berserk in this trailer, I STILL haven't forgotten it from that mention in the KH dumps, Monty.
That said, this is a stacked af lineup nonetheless. I had been a bit iffy on the Red Dead and Remedyverse announcements last year but you guys managed to make those episodes fun as hell still so knowing that every subject next year is stuff I'm more familiar with has me pretty excited, especially having Chase torture you and Neil with Yakuza's insanity and then you two torturing him back with Superhero lore from both opposite directions.
Jolly good show guys, will be patiently waiting for more!

Yakuza has been on my to play list for about two years now. I've played 0, I've played judgement and lost judgement, I need to move the rest of the series up the list so I can watch these when they release.
Oh god YES! Yakuza is my favorite game series of all time! There are some really amazing stories in this series along with really dumb and confusing stories as well, can’t wait to see y’all tackle this!

I've been hoping for a Yakuza Lore Dump since Chase mentioned it in one of the first Kingdom Hearts LDs and I think I even commented that on video or on one of your community posts around the time.
I recently started listening to Lore Dump so of course I wanted to see what I'm in for in the future... I was expecting a simple list of games. Not this. This feels like too much effort. And I loved every second of it.
I know nothing about the stories of any of these titles (the superheroes outside of games I am familar with)
This is gonna be so sick
*God damn* am I excited for these (even if I most likely won't watch the Yakuza ones when they release, since I want to play at least _some,_ if not all, of the series first)!

YES~!!!!!! I'M SO EXCITED FOR THIS YEAR!!!!!!! I've been listening to Thunder Rumbles for the past few weeks and Im so excited to see Beil and Chase back in the chair!!!!!! Genuinely so hyped and so disappointed that I have to wait for November for new stuff but I'm so happy I found this!!!!! Literally finished Melody of Memory and the Kingdom Hearts videos and I'm so happy I found Monty and this channel. Hoenstly one of the best podcasts and I love learning about game plots~!
This is like my 5th watch of this. Like seriously it's so well put together that it's almost like watching a music video. My hype as reached absolute PEAK levels. There is, of course, the small part of me that really hopes Alan Wake 2 is gonna be earlier the year rather than later. But even if it's the last one, I just cannot wait for this absolute "dump" of content in 2024.
AW2 will be in October, I just want as much time as possible to figure out how the hell I’m going to do it, and play NG+ and any DLC that releases before them because right now there are questions I can’t answer that I think Chase especially will hate 😂 so I want to at least have theories prepped! My critique of the game will be out before October though

I'll be honest: As the montage of title cards got through the Arkham games/media, I had a moment of kind of hoping "Gotham Knights" would show up, showing that Monty was willing to torture himself for the sake of a larger "modern Bat-game" completeness that possibly only exists in my head. 😅

For example, Alan Wake 2 is going to be a Halloween bonus episode and I think Yakuza will definitely have a more regular release schedule (because there's so many!) but as a rule we're sticking to 1 a month so as not to get burnt out. We've already missed a couple of deadlines this year! 😅
