I appreciate all of this information and thank you for finding solutions to problems that shouldn't exist to begin with. PS5 its plug and play but with Xbox it's never the case.
If you have a headset that has a 3.5mm microphone jack type can plug it straight to the microphone and use the mic like that but use the isolator because it will buzz.

So with my elites series 2 it works with out the usb cable plug up but as soon as you plug it up it stops working weird. I'd recommend my older video woth the turtle Beach adapter if you want to use that controller with a power cable. I'll link it if you haven't seen it. Let me know.

I am not sure since when you hook up to the Controller, all the sound goes to the controller unless there's a way to switch it to do both. Good question tho.

I use the AKG P120 XLR Condenser Microphone with my Xbox Series X. I run an XLR cable to a Phantom Power Supply and then use an XLR to Headphone Jack cable to go into a headphone splitter. (Just in case you wanted to know about any other microphones.) Also, can you use this method with any wired controller or does it have to be a specific type.
My wife got me the Maono DGM20S for Christmas I have the splitter, the 3.5m aux, and everything but the ground loop iso. Is that the only thing I’m needing now to fully clear up the audio everything works fine except when I talk in a party chat I have a bit of scratchy/ breakup sound.
If you have bad audio, try another controller. Your port could be bad if not that a cable or even the mic. It's process of elimination there's really no easy way to diagnose since your using lots of cable and adapter unfortunately.
My only concern with that is I’m currently using/trying to use a fairly new (less than a year old) elite series 2 controller. I would hope the controller is still in good shape and that it’s not the issue. I don’t have a ground loop isolator. Being it’s an elite series 2 could that be why? I only ask because I’m on pretty short supply when it comes to extra controllers. By the way I appreciate you commenting and helping me out.
If your running it wirless then no it shouldn't be you needing a ground loop isolator. I have one as well no issues with that when testing. You should have the original xbox controller that came with the xbox. Just do a quick test with it.

Is there any settings in Xbox that we need to change? We're hearing the game in the headphones, the mic is powered but no sound is coming through. Any suggestions?

I bought the entire Amazon list in your description, do each step as in your video (from what is required to connecting the USB power of the microphone to the xbox to give it power) and it did not work, it never recognized the mi xbox series x the microphone .
So i just got the p200 maono and all the cables needed. I have both a pro series and a wireless controller. And it doesn't work. Is there a specific controller or brand i need?
If you're using an Xbox wireless controller. You will need the Turtle Beach stereo adapter. If you have that adapter and it's still not working make sure you have the right cables with the three lines on them and hit the button on the bottom of the Turtle Beach adapter that says mic preset sometimes you get that button it'll make everything work hope that helps.

So I have this set up been working good sense Christmas now it’s not working I can hear my voice from the mic and the mic isn’t picking up sound either I’ve concurred that there’s not a wire issue cause I can hear the feed back from plugging it in and out do I need a new mic or something

Did you overclock the game sir controller in the app to 1000. If you did you lose the headphone Jack for that controller itself which means the mic will not work through that controller.
Well technically you can use the app on the Xbox as well. But since you haven't used the app will rule that out. The only thing I can recommend is process of elimination start by hooking up a headset to the controller to make sure you get sound going to the controller and then if so you can try a different mic or try different cables and controller until you find the issue.
Sounds like this won’t work for the ATH-M50xSTS 😢 been digging for days on if this headset can work with XSX. I feel like there’s gotta be a way since it’s analog

Hi When you connect the microphone and headphones, is the sound you hear inverted? When I use this way of connecting the microphone, the sound that should be heard through the right speaker is heard through the left speaker, and the sound that should be heard through the left speaker is heard through the right speaker. Hello, So that hasent happen to me try all these unplug the cable from the controller and if that don't work try unplugging the controller and the plugging it back up.
It doesn't work, I have tried two types of adapters that divide the audio and the microphone, but when I connect the headphones (Razer Tournament Edition) and play an audio test video, the sound is inverted. The easiest solution from what I've read is to use the headphones the other way around, that's why I'm looking for a solution.@@PughsReview
First, thanks for helping me. I tested it with a friend and the same thing happens when he connects the adapter, the solution is to put the headphones on backwards, but not all headphones are comfortable this way. Ok so I have a hyperx comcast s but I stream on streamlabs my issue is my capture card needs a 3.5mm port and not a usb port I need to connect my mic to the capture card but don’t know what adaptor I need. I see you other comment I understand i think lol you might need a turtle brach adapter to get the mic to work wich means it has to have a xlr port to work this way I am guessing.

When you connect the microphone and headphones, is the sound you hear inverted?
When I use this way of connecting the microphone, the sound that should be heard through the right speaker is heard through the left speaker, and the sound that should be heard through the left speaker is heard through the right speaker.
Is this happening to you? If so, is there a way to solve it?

So that hasent happen to me try all these unplug the cable from the controller and if that don't work try unplugging the controller and the plugging it back up.
It doesn't work, I have tried two types of adapters that divide the audio and the microphone, but when I connect the headphones (Razer Tournament Edition) and play an audio test video, the sound is inverted.
The easiest solution from what I've read is to use the headphones the other way around, that's why I'm looking for a solution.@@PughsReview
I've heard this issue has happen with xbox before I haven't dealt with it are had it happen so I can't give you any more advice on it sorry
First, thanks for helping me. I tested it with a friend and the same thing happens when he connects the adapter, the solution is to put the headphones on backwards, but not all headphones are comfortable this way.
Your videos have helped me, because I tested it with the Xbox app on my laptop and everything works without having to connect to my Xbox.

Ok so I have a hyperx comcast s but I stream on streamlabs my issue is my capture card needs a 3.5mm port and not a usb port I need to connect my mic to the capture card but don’t know what adaptor I need.
Also when I put in stand alone to pc and headset to chat link cable I can hear me but I can’t hear game play

@@PughsReview heya mate, just wanted to let you know that, from what I can gather and from personal testing, a mic that works is a ZealSound Professional Studio Microphone, just need to get some headphone that work with the wired setup and it’ll be good to go, just thought I’d let ya know pal 👍
