Hello, i had a quick question about feedback/buzz coming from my mic when using a 3rd party wired controller on xbox. I do have a ground loop isolator and it works great when im in xbox party chat, but for some reason when I switch to in game voice chat (in my case fortnite) the other people hear a bunch of feedback even though it was working perfectly fine on xbox chat. Any idea why this may be happening? I assumed it couldve been xbox having a noise suppression setting that made it sound better but turning it off didnt change anything.
Wont work has to have a mic monitoring port to work I have a new video releasing hopefully Saturday that will explain the process of more details on how to use a mic on the Xbox
If you just plug the mic into the controller will it still play ? I have a 3.5mm on my monitor and I'm wondering if I could use that instead of a splitter and just have the mic into the controller and headphones on the monitor
If I was to go with this what would I need? I have a $100 limit. I have an Xbox and have a camera. I want to upgrade to better sound with mic. What do u suggest, I've looked through some of you videos , I know I need an adapter just want to buy the correct items
im tying to record gameplay for youtube. im using OBS to do this and having audio issues. will the new method work for me? im using a laptop to run obs and playing on an xbox series s with wireless controllers. im thinking about getting the AM8 with boom included and using all this to play fortnite. Thank you.
@@PughsReview hey man, thanks for the reply, as a matter of fact it does work, I decided to try it out about a week after this comment. Im currently using a fifine mic and mixer and it works great.
Yo i need to know, i have a headset that came with a audio deck the i plug into my xbox it self and it works, but i wanted to just use the headset and then use a usb mic, could i still do that

If you have a headset with a detachable mic, can you do without the splitter and connect the mic directly to the headset?
Don't think so

Hello, can I just plug the mic into the Xbox and it will work without plugging anything into the controller itself?
No it won't
Hmm interesting
For the splitter can you use any splitter or does it have to specifically have the head phone and mic
Needs to be a 3 sleeve 4 pole splitter like the ine in the video
Can you check my comment on ur video where u review the powera controller (the video was posted about 9 months ago) thanks.
