Awesome guide, thank you! I want to upgrade my setup but I'm not sure this would be the right fit for me. Currently I play games on Xbox and use a capture card and a PC to stream, to give me all the tools I need. On the audio side, I have the official Xbox Wireless headset set up, because it can manage 2 audio sources simultaneously. So I'm able to use my main mic on stream and discord on the pc and hear everything via Bluetooth, and also can talk in games separately. Problem is, to talk in games on Xbox, I have to rely on the Wireless Headset's mic, which isn't that great.. So now I'm looking for alternatives. Does this board send all the audio to the Xbox that's happening on the PC? For example, if I stream on PC, and listening to music and using discord, does it send all this audio to the Xbox as well? If it does, how can I prevent this happening without loosing all the features of the board? Maybe with a virtual audio cable that I set up on pc? Or is this not possible at all? Thank you!
Hi, so I was watching your Stream Labs video, and I had a question, with what I’m trying to stream/record not being very graphic intensive, Pokemon games, do I need to worry about anything while I were to stream, like frame drops or anything like that. All the comments I’m seeing are talking about frame rates and things like that not being the best with Stream Labs, but with the games I plan on playing not being hardcore on my laptop in the first place do you think that would affect me?
@@DarkenedCyrus okay, cool, thanks for the info, people in the Pokemon space have told me the games themselves are playable on most phones, so I should be good with a good gaming PC. I’m thinking about getting the Victus Windows laptop. Heard pretty good things about it.
I have a question please help will this allow me to hear both a Xbox and pc at the same time because I wanna be able to use the same mic same headset to hear and speak to the Xbox and pc while also being able to record my voice on obs
When you talked about the Y-splitters, and said they didn’t work, I can’t use them because I got a pair of A10s and the Am8 microphone condenser, what would I need instead?
i have a quiestion, Is it possible to have the steel series dac, only connected to the audio, and also connect the fifine sc3 mixer with a dynamic microphone? I'm trying to do the test but I can't do it, I don't know how to get the audio out only from the steel series dac, because when you connect everything as you do in the video, what happens is that I do hear the audio as such, but The audio does not come out to the mic, speaking I connect the aux adapter to the steelseries and I take out the audio output and the mic output, when I connect that to the control, it works fine, but I no longer like the audio, since the DAC Yes, it does its equalization job and I like the way it sounds, I just would like to know if there is any possibility and if you can help me
I've been using the AM8 through a Steelseries GameDAC on my Xbox for a while now with no issues (IEMs for headphones). I don't know what happened this week but my mic wasn't picking me up when playing Warzone. After doing everything I knew to do (unplugging and replugging, restarting, diff cables etc.) , finally I started turning knobs and realized I have to turn the mic monitoring knob up on the AM8 (I had it all the way down because I hate mic monitoring) and my Xbox finally started picking up my voice again. What caused this?
Yes!! It works for the mixamp, just tested it.. so you gotta use the y-split and connect that to the mixamp, and then the headphones side goes to your Astros and the mic side goes to the ground loop isolator and then connect to the fifine mixer, I used the XLR cable from mic to mixer
I have an HyperX solocast wich is Usb type-C and normal usb. I think I can't with a fifine mixer right? Do i need only an Xlr mic? Sorry for my english by the way.
It won’t connect. Does that mic have a headphone port that does mic monitoring? If so, I talk about that later in the video. Just plug the aux cable from your mic into the mic port on the splitter.
Help me!!!!!!!! I cant make the mic sounds! The adapter i have is the chat pad, with it work? And i have question about the cables, wich one its the correcct cable, 2 pins aux, 3 puns aux? Then i conect the splitter but what about the mic aux entrance? And the fifine sc3.? How i have to conect all together?
Crazy that I was trying to set this up the day you posted this. My only problem is I run my setup through my pc so when I try this it picks up all my desktop audio through the fifine mixer and comes out my xbox party chat. :\
@@DarkenedCyrus Yeah that's what I had, but I have a funky setup where I have to split the xbox audio from my hdmi into my capture card and to the mic in on my pc. So the mixer is capturing everything coming from my pc.
It's Incredible how flexible the Fifine SC3 is. It works so well!
Agreed!
Awesome! Very useful and clear👍
Glad you think so!
Planing To Buy This Mic In Next Month 🎉
Are you able to connect this microphone to cameras? I have a lumix S5ii

That isn’t an issue with Streamlabs. Thats an issue that would happen because of your hardware or if you are using WiFi or Ethernet.

I just bought the avermedia 2.1
Can I use this on my Xbox while I have the capture card allready ?

Hi. Having trouble with echoing any thoughts?
I have a maonocaster ame2 with an xlr mic will the adapter and splitter show that to work on xbox as well?
Will this work on any other sound board ?
will this setup work with iem and inline mic?
Is the headphones a necessary step to set up the mic? I understand to hear the audio u do, but can I set up the mic without the headphones?
Isn’t required, no
A question, does this work for use in Xbox parties or just for streaming on it? Because I am interested in it working in the Xbox group voise chat.
Works in parties as well!

Could just go headphone out of the mic into the Xbox controller. Use the mixer as the output for the computer. Solved :)

What if your headset has a mic built in to it
Can I do this with an apollo twin x?
Can this same concept be achieved using a rodecaster pro 2?
Can’t see why not? Just run your out from the mixer to the microphone side of the y splitter
How do you use the turtle beach one
Will this work with the maonocaster as well
Yes!!!
Will this work with the elgato stream deck with the DLR attachment?
In theory, yes, as long as you have mic monitoring enabled
@@DarkenedCyrus thanks
Do I need a mic or could I use my headset with the mic on it?
Totally can use a headset!
Good friend? I thought we were more......😂😂😂😂
Well, gotta keep it on the down low
Can I use a different mic like a MXL 990 instead?
Use any mic that has the headphone port and supports mic monitoring natively
I have everything on the video but I’m still running into issues…
Must be a setup issue then. You have the y splitter plugged into the chat adapter, not direct into the controller?
I have a wireless turtle beach headset so will it still work
No
Can a xlr to usb c microphone work on sc5 mixer? When anyone get a chance please let me know
Do you need a capture card?
Nope :)
do i need the y splitter?
Yes
@@DarkenedCyrus i got it, for some reason i’m trying to talk through party chat and it’s not working

@@DarkenedCyrus okay i got it to work once. but then it stopped working
Do I have to have the xlr cable or can I connect the two differently
