Was using my rode interface but I will be switching to this for my k688. Thank you for the review, never knew this existed! I know my rode would be better but I'd like to have a dedicated interface for vocals and another for streaming/gaming. Plus the added micros are a big bonus too with a mute button as well

i really wish Fifine made a "balanced audio out" version of this mixer even if it were to be $80-$100, with separate left & right TRS balanced out ports for speakers/monitors and 2.5mm balanced out for IEMs, for SE/RCA gaming bros this is very good (you could also get the Klark mic booster for $45 to power more gain hungry mics).

Because of your clear and concise delivery of your content (and this is only the second video I’ve seen of yours), and 2 (THE MAIN REASON) Because of the way you stopped and reacted to your son interrupting your recording. That was f*****g awesome. The way some of the younger generations are being brought up today is horrible. If anyone got anything out of this video, let it be to take time to give that little extra attention to your children, even if it is only a minute or two. Take care man. Hey, love the content, very useful! I had some questions about fifine k688 that is on sale for me it’s on sale for only $62. I was going to get the Fduce sl40 but I think the k688 is better. Anyways, do you think it’s worth it to use the xlr or should I use usb? If xlr I would probably get the fifine interface.

I would love to see this compared to something like the GOXLR since it seems very inspired by it, while serving similar functions
I’m getting rid of my goxlr because they fired their staff that updates the software and I honestly want to give this combo a try
Honestly, I’d stick with the GoXLR. That’s a great product and they have plans to release an open source software that will probably prolong its life. It’s still a great mixer, regardless of if there is a support team
The GoXLR is 8 times more expensive, that’s not a comparison worth making
The pre-amps in this are not even close to the quality in the Go-xlr but this thing is Super cheap.

For $50 you can't go very wrong. I ordered one (black_ based on this very entertaining and informative video. We'll see how it goes in a dual-pc setup.
Dub mixer, I have been using the SC3 for a hot minute! I legit enjoy it.. daily driver!

Love the design of the product but not sold on the pre amps in it. I'd love to know a comparison to it. For 50 will it sound worse or equivalent to my current setup.

As far as the preamps, I don’t think they are amazing, but definitely sounded better than the same mic on USB. I believe it only gives 50db of gain, so around the same amount a Scarlet interface gives. If I were to make a comparison, I’d do it with one of those devices.
I don’t think it matches the preamps of the wavexlr or the goxlr.
Been looking at the Fifine SC3 on my aliexpress recommended list, and wondering if I should splurge on it to upgrade from my $40 Fifine USB mic. Thanks to your video I've decided to take the dive and buy BOTH the Fifine SC3 AND the Fifine K688! I'll keep you updated when I receive them and try both of them out!
K688 is great with only 1 issue (imo) and that is the fact that it picksup cable noise a lot (podcastage did a video about that)

I know it's off-topic, but could you recommend a camera for a RUclips streaming beginner? have a Logitech c922 and i don't like webcams..Your camera is incredibly good 😊
Best starter camera for RUclips is the ZVE10 from Sony. If you want something cheaper, go Sony ZV1F. I use it as my webcam for my streams if you want to check out the quality.
The b roll shots in this were on a ZVE10 with a Sigma 30mm f1.4 lens. My main cam is the FX30 with the sigma 16mm f1.4
I have the Fifine AM8 mic for streaming straight from the Xbox Series S. I'm considering buying this mixer to up my stream quality and really hope it works for my setup. I stream 100% from the Xbox (no laptop, no pc connected). I use a chromebook and/or my phone just to monitor the stream. Thank you for this video. Hopefully I can use this mixer on my xbox, it looks pretty fun and useful.

Great video man! This device will solve all my problems, I wish there was a solution for wireless headsets connected via usb and get the real time Mic monitoring.
Look into the Steel Series Wireless products or the Astro products. Expensive, but effective. This is what I use for real time mic monitoring

For the k688, what would be the difference between using the XLR cable in a mixer. And just using the USB cable and plugging it straight into a computer?

When I had this Fifine Audio Mixer with my Fduce SL40 on max level I got plenty of compliments, however when I switched to the Elgato Wave I cant seem to find the same sweet spot. Any recommendations? Maybe a good gain level?
