I literally bought this mixer just because I needed an XLR input. I use steelseries sonar for all my volume adjustability; you legit don’t need a massive, expensive mixer when it can all be done and most of the time done better with software. LET ME ALSO ADD i paired this mixer with one of the best/most expensive mics on the market today (Shure SM7db) and it sounds literally fantastic. I don’t trust any of senpai gaming’s reviews. I truly don’t think he has a clue wtf he is talking about in most cases; he’s just posting as frequently as possible to gain more revenue from ads and sponsorships. It’s a common occurrence once channels get that big to care more about quantity over quality when it comes to video content. More videos=more money for them. I’ve bought multiple products he personally said not to buy that I would advise everyone to buy (personal experience loving the products I mean). Most of his shit is just clickbait with fluff inbetween and opinions based on minor details that most people really don’t give a f*** about, especially the people that are new to whatever product market he’s posting a video about.
can it work perfectly with top end mics ? i need and xlr interface for voiceover and only have the budget for the mic rn should igo with it or just save up and get 2i2 ?
@@izzaydogo7158 sm7db is pretty much the highest end mic you can buy. So, yes. It works totally fine.
It's a cool mixer and works great with streaming and gaming but if you plan on using it for music, which before anybody says anything I am aware it's not made for that market I'm just providing insight as somebody who owns an SC3, it unfortunately has pretty big latency and since this is a very budget mixer it doesn't have any drivers which means no ASIO or anything it's just a straight USB audio device. I actually get smaller latency using my K688 over USB directly into the mic, I'm not sure if the headphone jack is delayed in any way either cause I just switched to plugging my headphones into the mic as well so I can keep the mic monitoring. Thankfully I can use both XLR and USB with the K688 so I just use the mixer for discord and streaming and then like I said straight from the mic for FL Studio. This is a way more pricey mixer compared to the SC3 but your best deal on a MIXER would be a Mackie ProFX6v3 with USB, make sure it's the one with USB since it comes with drivers that you can easily find online and I have firsthand experience with it in FL Studio it's a great mixer. BUT if you're really tryna save as much as you can but still want the best latency and just want the benefits of XLR/don't care about having way more physical control you can just go with a Focusrite Scarlett Interface, which they also have drivers that I believe go down to a 1-3ms delay in FL Studio?
Hopefully this helps any artists out there, or just whoever this may concern :)
Which would you recommend between the FIFINE Gaming Audio Mixer, Streaming Mixer Microphone Interface vs FIFINE Amplitank SC1 Recording Audio Interface?
My headphones work fine when plugged in but my external speakers, when plugged into line out, do not, I can see there's activity as the volume bar is flicking across on the fifine but no sound is coming out of the external speakers, am i missing something here?
For the custom buttons. Can i only add sounds via mic or can i download sounds and pit them in there?
i just tried it and it seems that if you play a sound on your computer while its recording it can pick up the sound! Muted my mic to make sure. However the quality of the sound sample is um....................kinda sad so try it out yourself and see if you like it
I have the sc3 and Ib love it. It's great for podcasting through RUclips.
That's what I was curious about, podcasting and we also do live play by play and reactions. So, I think this will be great for me. I have been doing content for a long will without any mixer so this will be an upgrade for me until i can upgrade again in a few years lol.
@@Nonpfixion you will love it. It's the upgrade, may I suggest the fifine k669d or the fifine tank 3 to pair with it.
@@BacktotheRetroReview I was looking at the fifine k688 honestly and the fifine boom arm too. Thoughts?
@Nonpfixion I recently did a review of the fifine boom arm in my channel... check it out, I cast speak on the k688 as I have not used that yet, however I do have it on the way and will do a review of it soon.
If I got this with a stream deck+ can I do a dual pc set up?
Can i run a Rode Podmic & a Rode NTH-100 perfectly on this thing??
would I still be able to use my astro a50s if I got the sc3 mixer? Because I won't be able to connect them to the mixer, but I should still be able to use the astros as my audio output and the mixer+mic as my input?
I'm curious about this too. I've heard the onboard Amp for the headphones is weak.
I have a hyperX 3 wireless headset with the SC3 and yeah, you can still choose to use your wireless headset over the mixer 👍🏼
I have the SC3, and my biggest issue isn't about channel mixing (since I would do that in Elgato software), it's that Elgato's WaveLink software isn't compatible with it.
I have the WaveDX microphone, and while it works just fine with the SC3, WaveLink doesn't recognize the SC3 as a mic input, so the software says, "No Input Detected".
I'm gonna have to get the Wave XLR instead.
I just need a simple interface that I can use for my 2 pc setup. I have my old Go XLR mini but it is buggy and doesn't work correctly anymore. I think this could be a good replacement for my use case.
Hi. I need to make stream with 2 pcs and I need something that helps me with the audio. This would help me to manage that issue or which one (low cost) would help me? Thanks
This CAN work with a 2 pc setup, but if you have the money, I’d recommend something with more IO options to make sure you can do things like hear alerts. The GO XLR mini is great budget option. And they recently revived the GO XLR project and product line.
TLDR: Yes this works, but you could upgrade to a higher end product for more features
Really helpful review! And great response to what Harris reviews.
does the mic monitoring work with a bluetooth headset, i wanna get the sc3 and i have the k688 plus i wanna get a xlr but i am not sure if the mic monitoring will work so it would be great if someone could answer it
So here's a question for you. Would this be the right choice to get if you also plan on getting a stream that plus
I watched this. I really want this for a specific reason. I think it is great for the price.
The voicechanger? xD
so i currently have a samson q9u that im using via USB i wanna go xlr would i be able to do that with this and still use steel series sonar for the post effects ? the wave xlr is just pricey for the preamp i wish the stream deck plus had the preamp built in.
Any update on this?
You can use this for an XLR input. But if you want to use it for music you'd be better of saving and going for a dedicated mixer/interface for that style. Scarlett 2i2 or Solo is good for interface, for mixer I don't have a good recommendation though.
@@AlwaysRollingOnes yeah this is what i did i got a sacrlet solo plan to get the rode caster duo later also looking at different mic soon tho prolly the RE20
Bridge Cast X review coming soon?
My mackie crapped out and I wanted something simple. I picked up the SC3 and it works great. My audio sounds good. I run my headphones through my speaker jack. I don't use monitoring, so i don't have any issues with the volume problem Harris was talking about.
Wait I’m confused am I able to use a seperate amp+dac with my headphones while I use this just for my mic? Or can I not?
Yes you can use a separate amp+dac. You’ll just set your output source to your headphones and mic to the SC3.
Can I use this mixer for dual streaming pc setup?
Yes you can! The only downside Is not being able to hear the alerts natively
@@AustinDavenport how tho cause im struggling i cant get my mic to stay without mic monitoring on im using obs
I use it. The only down side is alerts. i can hear alerts through it but if im playing multiplayer it goes through to game chat also haha. I just plug my headset in my gaming computer if im on a multiplayer game but obviously doing that means i cant hear the alerts.
Yeah, Harris is wrong for sure. I personally have a MOTU 828MK3 Hybrid, so I already have a heavy hitter audio interface with 18 mic preamps, but I don't want that on all the time. I use a Behringer C-2 small diaphragm pencil mic, which is the best deal on a pencil mic and the best desk mic. I do long STEM live coding streams, and I don't need the best preamp, but I need one that sounds good and is low noise, and the voice changing effects will come in handy. I would like the round apps to my headphones, and I need to mix the main out and monitor out in OBS.
You can't change them all together. You are changing only what you are hearing. Not what is actually being outputted
If it’s outputting through the line out, you 100% can
Will my wireless headset still work if I use this with a condenser mic?
Yes you can still set your headset to be the main output and the SC3 as the main input
The point Harris was making was you cant raise and lower the volume of separate things, which is what the majority of people buying this would want. its supposed to be a MIXER, but it doesn't mix anything, and don't say "Those are $100 features" like you did in the video, because they aren't, you can make a DIY mixer for like $30-40 that actually mixes the volume on your pc. Found this video while looking into doing that to see what would be better for the price, and this sure isn't it.
So would you say that it’s Fi(fine) for streaming from console? See what I did there?😅
lol Yes, You can run your line out into the mic jack on a controller
@@AustinDavenportI appreciate your response bro. I guess I should’ve explained the full setup. So I’m trying to figure out how to hear game chat audio from my PS5, connected to a capture card, that’s connected to the FiFine, streaming off of a PC.
Can you ACTUALLY run a guitar through this? Yes it got a combined XLR and 1/4 input, but will it actually work without mic preamp interfering guitar signal ? Dont you want to run it with a DI Box or cable with transformer? Bc if its possible, its allso the cheapest ever interface for recording guitar / using presets.
you can also just bring down volume on your pc ..
does it have real time monitoring ?
Yes it does. At full quality
The music in your background was really loud at the beginning, and throughout the video it was competing with your voice.
Problem with "Audio Enthusiasts" is they are only happy when they pay 20x more than other people for the same feature set. Also I liked how he was saying PC while using a Mac... very apt for this dood. As someone who lives in the audio market, he sounds like he has never had to pay real money for the shit he owns
You guys both miss the point we can change what the computer outputs ON THE COMPUTER, not on the mixer. No worry in my estimation. Nice video review, but the repetitious background music loop is very annoying. Just turn that down so more in the background. Thanks. JT
👍👍
@@AustinDavenport Quite possibly, but you both miss the point I make - that we can adjust the computer gaming output at the computer, so it is not a lost cause. It appears you missed MY point. Good Day, JT
So basically he’s right. I found your disagreement to be a bit pedantic - sure, technically reducing the volume of everything is reducing pc game audio. But it’s impractical which is why he flagged it.
After checking about the editing, thumbnails and everything and effort you add to your videos, I recommend you to really make a new Channel. Because, This Channel is not rewarding and it will take almost forever for you to find your target audience. I really recommend you to make a new Channel and start working on that with same effort you do here.Greetings!
It’s definitely been an option on the table! Thanks for the suggestion 🤝
call bullshit on this review. The Fifine SC3 is absolute garbage. Line in sometimes work but cutouts out. Its 16bit 16k audio quality, so your mic will sound like hot trash. Avoid The SC3 at all costs!! My guess is buddy is a paid reviewer. Returned after 2 days.

I SENT THE ONE I HAD BACK TODAY. IT'S A NICE MIXER FOR NEW JACKS. I JUST NEEDED SOMETHING FOR TRAVELING. BUT THE SOUND WAS NOT GREAT, BUT NOT THE WORSE AS WELL. THE MAONO AMC2 NEO SOUNDS AND SEEMS LIKE A BETTER BUY FOR ABOUT 5 BUCKS MORE.
other guy actually tested and showed the quality of the sound recording with your mic and showed just how hot trash it was. This guy 100% got paid.
i honeslty dont give a shit about 90% of this - all i need to know is, can i use my microphone on two PCs with this.
Yes you can
