Thank you so much for your awesome video! I was really torn between the SC3 and the G1 NEO, but I have to say, the G1 NEO really captured my heart with its look and its ability to reduce noise. I can’t wait to get my hands on one!
Hey bro! How are you? Great job on the review as always my friend. I know I'm probably in the minority, but I never liked these tiny toy-like mixers. They have zero to offer over an analog mixer and cost way more. For the price you paid for these, you could get a 4 channel mixer with sound adjustments and special FX....and for about $10.00 more, you can get a 6 channel with slider adjustment (lows, mids, and highs) controls, peak meters for each channel, 256 sound FX, and more. If I wanted to get more than 1 channel like these have, I'd have to spend over $400.00 and over $800.00 for a 4 channel digital mixer, but that's just me. I'm kind of old fashioned I guess. Thanks for the review. I hope you have been well. Take care.
Hello again! gotta say you give some of the best input. Yea i do gotta say that some of these do have a gimmicky factor. these just meet the super basic beginner needs. I suppose the real appeal of these is they offer digital input/output and work easily with gaming consoles with minimal effort. They're also flashy. Analogs do offer lots more at a cheaper price though.
@@TekToyzGaming Thank you for the compliment sir, and I've gotta say that you deliver some extremely high quality product reviews on RUclips. brother, great video, which of these two do you recommend? I want to somehow improve the audio transmitted to my microphone. I have a question, can I mix a mixer with some audio software?
im late to the party ordered the sc3 the g1 has more features though i would say features only matter if you use them the g1 sidechain and reverb are good for live stuff for anything else they can be added in post and of better quality. the voice changer soundds sounds better on sc3 and the extra mic switch can stop you from accidentally sending phantom power to mics that dont need it. if i knew about the g1 maybe i would pick that but sc3 looks good as well im sure the logic boards are pretty much the same so im ok with it tools are only as good as you can use them.
@TekToyzGaming heya thanks a lot um got my sc3 and i really like it the only thing i wish was better is the fader quality they feel kinda lose but i like the big buttons the preamp is clean could use a bit more gain but drives my q7x fine. the build is sturdy other than the faders and the live monitoring works great be it only when i connect it to my laptop not with my android is it something yoo experienced as wel ! i have a scarlet solo 3rd gen and i think this might replace that my projects in reaper are already 16 bit 48k and imim not doing anything pro so yeah the 24 bit 192k never gets used. thanks for the video what do you think aboot the monitoring only working on pc and not on android.
@ yea if no need for the 24 bit this will do just fine. I don’t suspect this will work the same directly on an android than it would on a desktop operating system. For example the mic connected to the sc3 will also not get detected when up on phone calls. Happens on iOS as well.
@TekToyzGaming yeah but the live monitoring is supposed to be live right it should just require power and send the mic signal to headphones the solo does this though its volume knob has gotten a little weird and i dont use the headphone jack on that also why i bought this. ive an lg v60 it does pick up the mic records with the sc3 mic and sends audio through it as well the live monitoring button does nothing i tried it on my phone first and thought its broken but i tried it on the pc and it worked. but i like it i might sell the focusrite and upgrade when its time to something like the motu m2 the scarlet ride has not been fun lol.
@@iamqaisermunir yup that is how monitoring is suppose to work. Can’t say it will work in every scenario with every device as it’s impossible for me to test all. Even Xbox has its issues with mics and mixers and that of course is a popular device and should work with most mics for gaming.

do the custom buttons go into the pc? for example, if i have my mic hooked into the maono does the custom button come out of my mic so others can hear it, and not just out of the mixer itself?
