Hi there. You can play with gen 1 or 2 with remote play on any of those platforms.

@@THE_BEARGUY personally I like the audio of the Fifine over the k688. But the k688 may have that comforting sound you’re looking for.

Both models have better audio quality on the XLR connection, and most this type of USB/XLR combo mics do. It could be worth using them with an XLR interface to get the best out of them. Anyway, for voice recording, K688 could be a better option for its slightly less overwhelming bass and brighter highs compared to AM8.

@@kevind2576 both of these do ok with noise rejection, though the pd200x is slighter better at it. In usb they are both just ok. The Fifine am8 is better than these in usb out of box if using no apps.

@@tamikabirthwright4941 only the mics that have an xlr or 3.5mm aux connection. USB won’t work.

@@Drthiccems hmmm that’s not good. Maybe it’s the xlr cable? Should work with most xlr mics.

XLR mics included? If it's a condenser one, make sure to enable the 48V power. If it's dynamic, check if the input level has turned all the way up. The troubleshooting is bit sketchy now so if you still haven't been able to fix the problem, please give us more details to help out.

that may just be the loud hvac and pc fans nearby. I need a better space. I always have to use noise suppression.

@@Sturmx thanks for chiming in on this. Always need other ears. Out of box am8 is better. The pd100x will need that Maono link app in usb for sure.

@@TekToyzGaming I agree with you. What configuration would you recommend on the maono link for the pd100x?

@ I would say stick with using the advanced eq to customize the sound the way you prefer and reduce frequencies you don’t want to hear too much of. I would also add some compression to it from the app as well. Noise gate is ok but not the best.

@TekToyzGaming heya thanks a lot um got my sc3 and i really like it the only thing i wish was better is the fader quality they feel kinda lose but i like the big buttons the preamp is clean could use a bit more gain but drives my q7x fine. the build is sturdy other than the faders and the live monitoring works great be it only when i connect it to my laptop not with my android is it something yoo experienced as wel ! i have a scarlet solo 3rd gen and i think this might replace that my projects in reaper are already 16 bit 48k and imim not doing anything pro so yeah the 24 bit 192k never gets used. thanks for the video what do you think aboot the monitoring only working on pc and not on android.

@ yea if no need for the 24 bit this will do just fine. I don’t suspect this will work the same directly on an android than it would on a desktop operating system. For example the mic connected to the sc3 will also not get detected when up on phone calls. Happens on iOS as well.

@TekToyzGaming yeah but the live monitoring is supposed to be live right it should just require power and send the mic signal to headphones the solo does this though its volume knob has gotten a little weird and i dont use the headphone jack on that also why i bought this. ive an lg v60 it does pick up the mic records with the sc3 mic and sends audio through it as well the live monitoring button does nothing i tried it on my phone first and thought its broken but i tried it on the pc and it worked. but i like it i might sell the focusrite and upgrade when its time to something like the motu m2 the scarlet ride has not been fun lol.

@@iamqaisermunir yup that is how monitoring is suppose to work. Can’t say it will work in every scenario with every device as it’s impossible for me to test all. Even Xbox has its issues with mics and mixers and that of course is a popular device and should work with most mics for gaming.

@@Ready4Head the k688 is a good mic. Going to see if I get my hands on the updated version. I also notice that the profile of some of the mics change with firmware updates. It happened with the pd200x and usb audio is now a little different.

also the mic is turned off, no rgb lights or the mute button etc. but it seems to still be working...

@@casey1676 try a clean reinstall of the app. Delete any folders left over in program files directly. Reboot. Reinstall the app. Reset mic to factory settings then try the update. For noise suppression you can use noise suppression from OBS or the noise gate feature in Maono link app.

@TekToyzGaming yeah tried that already. doesn't change anything, the mic is still technically turned off and the app is still unusable. the factory reset doesn't do anything. not really sure what to do at this point except returning. thank you tho

@ yea if you’ve tried those things and nothing just return. Can even contact Maono and they might just ship a new one.

@@yehorkaa kind of depends what you’re hoping to gain. While they both do sound better in xlr, do you need the use of xlr? In usb there will be negligible differences. The k669b may even have more pick up as a condenser mic.

These two models have similarities with the K669B, so it's more recommended to try out the latest Tank3, which is quite different from these three. But if you don't like the rather bright sound of the Tank3, then it won't be bad to stick with the K669B until you actually find something with the audio that grows on you.

@@xBlare May not work as you can’t split the in and out on their own lines/channels. Better trying to work it out with your mixer connected to the laptop directly.

@@Juanelo. hey thanks. I do notice a change in audio as it’s 2 different profiles set. The update may have made some slight changes. More gain is welcomed. You can always lower it. Some noise can also be reduced in custom eq settings.

@@khanconnects good catch. That should be a feature request we can make as there currently isn’t a record button to record, say, your mic input at least for 15 seconds like a mixer. That way we can record to the sound pads.

@@optimalsettings there’s only 1 profile per mic. Unless you use 1 with the basic tab setup and the other with the advanced tab setup. Then those are ‘like’ 2 different profiles.

Yes, no problem at all. But in this case, it's super important to make sure the output device is the headset plugged into PC under the system sound and software setting.

@@johnpaulbalmaceda6672 I think the pd200x may have a slight advantage here for this. More dynamic range and is a 24bit mic.

@@xdaddyrambo I like this mixer, but for a setup where I want to control multiple channels of audio I’d rather and analog mixer with those controls. That may make your setup here work better as well.

@@elvlogdesandy yes this should work. Though I’ve heard of mixed reviews on it. Ive been able to make it work but some have been having issues.

@@SCAZKING this works flawlessly with OBS. Can’t see why it wouldn’t with streamlabs. Though I’m curious if there’s been. Case where a capture card was not compatible with either of these apps. Haven’t heard of one yet but I don’t know everything about it.

@@Musaddique_MMALI I think the Am8 or the pd200x for their flexibility. If you plan to use usb only and a noise suppressor could use the a8 for bigger pickup.

@@Jebsss I gotta agree. Provides more functionality than the camlink with passthrough capabilities. Only one up is the camlink does 4K 60hz.

@ ​​⁠the audio on these are pretty good for music. Better when you adjust with the peats audio app. I like the capsule pro+ a bit more though.

@@erinkuryla2539 good question. So your mixer needs to be connected to your pc to capture all the sounds from the mixer so all can hear, including custom buttons.
