I recently added a Scuf Instinct Pro controller to take control of gaming to another level - Yet here lies my issue of comfort from headsets and mic quality that I am currently experiencing with my Steelseries headsets. They are hot, the cupping hurts my ears, and the top of my head is feeling smashed.
So my question lies...
Do I have what I need to connect audio to my Xbox, with the cables, fifine?
Do you know if I will need a Turtle Beach adapter?
What are the best/most straightforward ways to take this to RUclips/Kick/ other streaming platforms?

This is probably the cheapest best quality fair price options ive heard of thx ima order them soon roughly $270 for the mic, cables, and a brand new headset, as well as the adapter pretty cheap with decent quality from the looks of it
I have to turtle beach adapter and a splitter and the ziocom thing and a wire that goes to my mic but I have my wired head set going to the other part of the splitter and I can’t hear my game at all
It’s so annoying! Why can’t we just plug this in via USB in the back off my Xbox, I don’t want to plug anything into my elite controller! I have a Nova Pro for Xbox and I want a microphone to speak through instead off using my headset because it’s kinda awful :/

I don't believe so this style mic is typically put on a boom arm but there AM8 comes with one and it works the same way I have a video on that mic as well.

Really, anything should work. Wired or wireless that I've tested. Put it this way nothing I have won't not work.

I doubt it since your headset is on one side of the splitter and the board is on the other sending separate singles
Does the microphones usb have to be plugged into the Xbox, or can I put it into the wall. I’m out of usb slots on my series s, the back two power my keyboard and mouse and the front one powers my razer wolverine, purely so I can have a headset plugged into
Xbox fail on so many things which is frustrating. It's ridiculous you have to use all those connections and whatever to use a flippin mic. I was going to buy this mic but what's the point I'm not going to be having all those wires hanging around me.

@PughsReview Great explanation again, but I had some clarifying questions because the second approach without the turtle beach adapter. I may end up needing it, I wanted to confirm. My setup is:
- Microsoft Elite 2 controller, but I have it plugged in via the USB wire to the xbox so it's not wireless.
- Elgato wave 3 usb mic, hooked up to my laptop, mainly for power.
The rest is the same as you mentioned in the video: Loop isolator connected to mic, audio cable to the splitter connected to the controller.
The questions:
1. I assumed that the mic doesn't need to be connected to either of the devices as long as it's powered and the audio cable is connected to the monitoring jack and the splitter/isolator combo. Is this right? I'm not capturing and the xbox doesn't actually get the mic audio via usb, will it? I tried connecting to the xbox, but that didn't fix it.
2. The Elite 2 is wireless, but it came with a wire to plug into the xbox (what i do for responsiveness). Since its the elite 2 and not a permanently wired controller, am I forced to use the turtle beach adapter?
The turtle beach adapter is my next try, but I thought I'd ask before I order :)

Hey there, so yes, you need the turtle beach adapter only 3rd party controllers don't need it. And I don't know why lol.
The usb is only for power you are correct. As long as the elgato has a mic monitoring port it should work I wanted to test the elgato equipment out to make a video with. I think it would make for a great video I need them to send me some stuff out lol.

Hi mate, In this vid you mentioned a pro tip about having ONE mic for both Xbox and pc streaming....Have you got a video explaining how to connect that up. Or a reply explaining how will do if it isn't that complicated.
My set up if I need it: I have just bought the Rode PodMic USB XLR (has xlr and usb) xlr cabke is connected to my wave xlr into the pc.

So just hook all the cables up to the controller like I show and the USB mic cable to the pc and run it through whatever program you're using to stream obs streamlabs, etc. I am jelly I want that mic lol.

So, now I’m able to get my audio/mic routed through my external USB mic. BUT. I’m not able to mute my party chat so I can keep it separate from my stream chat. Like no matter what, everyone hears me talking to either side. Stream or Xbox Party. All I’m missing is a way to mute party & connect with my stream so I’m not driving my friends nuts 😂 I can’t figure it out.

Yeah you will need the Turtle Beach adapter or you'll get a bad buzzing.

Party, yes, game chat no.
You can’t hear game chat if you have a wireless/bluetooth headset., currently using the Turtle beach stealths 700 gen 2s but Will be trying it out with the Astros A50 when I get them

From further testing, wirless will not work since you can't get game chat, only game play audio. But I only tested with TB stealth 600

Anyone know how to use something like the Razer Seiren Mini (USB only, no 3.5mm jack) with the GameSir G7 SE controller (can't use the turtle beach adapter due to the controller only having a 3.5mm jack at the bottom)?

If you have a pc you can remote stream I have a video on it that the only way though if it has not 3.5 mm jack

I have been using an xlr to 3.5mm cable to connect to the splitter. The mic works but everyone says I’m super quiet when I talk. Why do you think that is?
Well if you don't have any knobs to control the gain on the mic, that could be an issue, but this one has all of that the mic will get too loud if you are not careful. Lol
I got everything set up and it works! But the microphone will go out every so often - did you notice that at all? The headphones don’t go out but the mic will. Maybe it’s a bad cable from the mic to the splitter?

We struggle with complete isolation when he has a headset on and he is unwarranted of anything around him. Great mic my daily driver. And no unfortunately not game chat there no way to do that on xbox unless you have a pc to remote stream I have a video on that if you do check it out.

Xbox streaming won't stream game chat through that's just how it is unfortunately. You can stream party chat though

Yes, as long as the headset can mute the mic, you will be good. If your using a xbox wirless controller make sure you get the turtle beach adapter

@@tiweh2690 so the Astro mix amp does not have a USB input and from what I’ve seen online, the USB to AUX converters don’t work for this. My idea was to use a converter and splitter but I never tried.

I need help as this is not working for me at all. I bought everything in the video, and the mic works fine on my PC. When connected to my Xbox, I can hear my bf in an Xbox party on my Xbox, but he can't hear me. Mic monitoring in the party is disabled (grayed out). I tried streaming on Twitch from my Xbox, and I enabled my mic, and still, he can't hear me while watching my stream. The mic USB is plugged into my Xbox, and the green light is on for the mic. I played around with the mic monitoring on the mic as I had to do so on my PC, and still nothing. I am on Xbox series X. 😢 Is there a way I can still use this mic, stream from my Xbox on Twitch, but have my mic plugged into my PC? I have a capture card and just got this PC to create professional streaming content. I appreciate any help.🙏
If you've got everything (stereo adapter, right 3-ring splitter) connected correctly, then there has to be an issue with either a cable, controller, or TB adapter. It's going to be a process of elimination.

I also had the same issue as you, I was like: No shot I just fell for a clickbait (Because I thought I just watched something that's clickbait), then I checked out the comments and videos on how I can plug it in, so I watched his Popular video, copied everything, and that worked, so if you have a PC or Laptop around you, then plug in the USB on the Laptop or PC, then check out his Popular vid. And it worked for me (Tip)
