      I think 99% it’s bs, all Soto is doing is letting the rumors bring his price up until him and boras get the most $ from each team then from there i think he’s going to sign with the team who gives him more opt outs.

      1. How did a clip from your video end up in this video link?
      2. You were completely wrong when you said every team has the ability to spend like the Dodgers. If that were true then they would. With the exception of cheap ownership. Most teams don't want to deal with the luxury tax payments, etc. The Dodgers are doing this because of the T.V. revenue, Ohtani revenue, and the deferred payments. People have every right to hate what the Dodgers are doing. It is "boo....booo...booo" because there are very few teams who can spend like the Dodgers. I think you should retract what you said about that one bro! 😂
      Keep up the great videos!

    I have the hardest time believing that Soto, who is used to at least having a chance at winning, would go to a team that is so far in the dumps. Even more ridiculous, is the idea that both Cohen and Steinbrenner would be outbid by what is only $50M per year. A lot of money? No doubt, but that is nowhere near too rich for the blood of several owners.

      The Yanks haven’t won anything in over 15 years. The only thing they have to show for is a WS run where their best player completely chocked and their manager got exposed as one of the worst in the league. The Sox at least can show that they won a WS 6 yrs ago. Also, the Sox aren’t in the dumps. They have a core of very talented major leaguers who are under a ton of team control. They have a ton of money to spend and they have the #2 farm system in all of baseball with 4 prospects in AAA ready to make their debut who are all ranked in the top 30 by both pipeline and baseball America. A manager in Alex Cora who is regarded by many as one of the best managers in baseball. So yeah, the Sox aren’t in the dumps. They have a lot to offer to a 26 yrs old Soto who is looking to win now and in the future.

    THIS JUST IN: Ken Rosenthal reports that the Chiba Lotte Marines have signed Juan Soto for the equivalent of a USD$900 Million, 30 Year Deal. $450 Million deferred until 2055. Soto has packed his bags and is en route to the airport, but has made a small pit stop at a Burger King in Brooklyn.

  • @bobsyoruncle4583
    @bobsyoruncle4583 Месяц назад

    Wherever he signs I'm confident the "no deferred money" will be an accurate prediction. My impression of Soto is that his priority is to squeeze the absolute maximum amount of money he can from whoever signs him without concern for whether that leaves the organization with enough left over to put a potential championship team on the field. Maybe I'm wrong and he'll surprise me, but I doubt it.

    I just don’t understand why Soto would pick the Red Sox. They can’t offer the most money, they can’t offer the best chance of winning, they can’t offer the best history, they can’t offer anything that the Yankees and especially the Dodgers can’t offer. I still have the Red Sox as the 5th most likely to sign him. 1. Yankees 2. Mets 3. Dodgers 4. Phillies 5. Red Sox. I put the Phillies ahead of the Red Sox because of his extremely close relationship with Trea Turner

    As a Padres fan he’s not worth anywhere close to 600mil. He was a clubhouse cancer and almost never had actual impact at the plate. His homers were almost always in blowouts and whenever the team needed a single to win the game he’d take a walk and we’d lose. this doesn’t even talk about him be in an absolute liability in the outfield and baserunning. Ask almost any Padres fan, hardly anyone misses him in SD.

If I'm the Yankees or Mets at some point I'd rather have 3 All-Star players instead of Soto - give me Burnes and one of Bregman/Adames/Teoscar, and take a run at Vlad Jr next year.
