Shohei's year was incredible and definitely deserved a top 10. Hitting 50 HRs is a big deal, as only 32/20,459 players have done so, let alone 50/50. (Mike Trout never hit 50 home runs btw).
@@silversrayleigh8980 I feel like taking about 5 seconds to suggest doing so if you like the videos isn't a big deal, a lot of regular viewers don't even realize they're not subscribed so it helps with that but to each their own👍

As a Dodgers fan since the '90s this season was amazing, you could make a top ten or twenty of just Dodgers moments this season I swear. My favorites that weren't already on the list- Freddie Freeman breaking the record for home runs in consecutive WS games, going back-to-back-to-back against the Diamondbacks towards the end of the season, shutting the Padres out through 24 consecutive innings during the NLDS, the first bullpen game versus the Padres in the NLDS that showed everyone the Dodgers could and would make a World Series run with a depleted pitching staff, the humble Tommy Edman hitting home runs off both sides of the plate in one game and gaining the acceptance of Dodger fans as the ultimate ultility man after coming in right at the trade deadline, Kiké Hernandez and Gavin Lux's iconic cup-bumping celebration, Max Muncy breaking the record for getting on base in consecutive playoff plate appearances during the NLCS, and Teoscar Hernandez winning the HR derby. Honorable mentions include Decoy's first pitch, Ippei recanting his ESPN interview and taking the charges for our boy like a G, Will Smith's check swing double, and the Dodger fan having a Dodger fan moment and blowing his hand up during the NLCS. DODGERS FOR LIFE!
Honestly, not including the postseason, the only iconic moment/ game of the year was the 6for6 Ohtani game against Miami. This dude is very much a ONCE IN A LIFETIME athlete who has abilities we've never seen before. It is just crazy to have actual baseball fans who dog that dude and shrug off his accomplishments as if they are things that have been done year after year. He is amazing and that game in Miami has to be considered as one of baseballs best hitting performances EVER
Glad you included the last A's game in Oakland. It was really special for all the fans who can't do anything about having the team taken away from them.
i watch a ton of baseball youtubers and youre probably my favorite one. All the little jokes and references makes it so entertaining thank you for your service
I discovered this channel during the World Series that my Dodgers ultimately won. I liked the videos so much that I’ve watched a lot of the videos posted throughout this season. Keep up the great work and thank you for the great uploads! Go Dodgers!
Yo! Most ppl forget but in that Ohtani 6-6 game….if he doesn’t get thrown out at 3rd trying to stretch a dbl into a triple you can add a Cycle to that game….
Just wanted to say man that finding your channel was one of the best things I ever did this year. It helped reinvigorate my love of the sport and I just love the way you do your storytelling.
My son and I watxh every video. We love baseball and your take on it. Our first video was your video about the Jackie Robinson statue that was stolen. After that, we have watched all your videos. Thank you!
In all of baseball history, we remember moments, not innings. The only moment that will be remembered 20 years from now will be Freddy Freeman’s Statue of Liberty pose after hitting that Grand Slam.
Good list but I’d put freeman hr as number one that will truly be shown as a highlight 50+ years from now first ever world series walk off slam down to last out
Ohtani legendary run must be studied! 40/40 nope 50/50,got his dog throwing pitches, makes the postseason, wins his first ring ,wins the MVP , silver slugger ,and now he's printing a mini ohtani 😭😭

Happy New Year and I have enjoyed your channel tremendously these past 5 months. I've been to minor league games but I didn't really care too much about the majors. But watching your vids have sparked my interest in the majors. So thanks I'll be watching with you too next year. 😊
Braves fan here so I hate the dodgers but I still believe Freddy's game 1 homer was the best moment of the MLB season. Thanks for the great year of videos bud your channel is one I really enjoy and look forward too. Keep up the great work
My personal number 1 moment was being in Milwaukee on July 11th when Paul Skenes no hit the Brewers for 7 innings. Considering how he pitched the first 3 innings it was amazing he went 7 innings.
Happy New year, if I did a list for top ten RUclipsrs of the years I’d honestly put you in my top 3. I watched every video maybe some more than once. Great year ❤🎉
As soon as I saw the clip of Perez signing that ball I knew it was Parker Meadows clowning my team for #10. This channel WOUNDS me. What about the TRIPLE PLAY?!?! It's okay.
Great take. You're humble about it being your opinion but we subscribe to hear it so no worries. I appreciate your mention of the A's game. I'm an Angel fan so I have empathy for horrible ownership. I've been to the BART station closest to the Coliseum many, many times to travel from the airport or see a game. The faithful fans, among the best in MLB, going to a game in mass for safety in one the most dangerous areas for any MLB stadium (Philly is right up there as I stayed with the large crowd also arriving on public transportation) and showing loyalty. My heart went out to those fans for having and "anti-boycott" game and then the final. An end to an era of horrible ownerships but faithful fans. Great call out.
as an astros fan since birth im always gonna be bias in my personal top moments league wide and I think Heywards walk off to clinch the playoffs for Houston was the best
my personal fav is biased, it was dodgers at astros when bregman walked it off. intense game and at the crack of the bat you knew it was gone . i was there
9:30 I was at this game, with my roommate (a Brewers fan) we went down to the 1st floor at the bottom of the 9th to get a better view/get out of there faster from parking. And then instant shock...
I remember my girlfriend telling me that the game isnt over till it’s over ! Sure enough we witnessed the greatest comeback/choke job in World Series history
My favorite moment of the 2024 baseball season was probably ALDS game 2 where skubal pitched a gem and then Kerry carpenter hit a three run bomb off Emmanuel Clase. Go Tigers
Too bad Buckner wasn’t alive (& younger) when that Game 5 went down. The names “Bill Buckner” & “Donnie Moore” will eternally be replaced with “The 5th Inning.” Awesome list, especially gettin that Mets/Bravos game in there! 👀😮💨
Jankoskis robbing a Hr against the white Sox with the game on the line is up there for me. He showed of his athleticism and at that point the rangers were still in it.

Reminder that Otani was a bobble away from also hitting for the cycle in that game.
Or alternatively, he could've had a four homer game - the first double was a line drive off the wall.
