@unnamedchannel2569 Gotta know a name for that parameter for every team though, which would be tough. Like sure, I know a few Phillies who played like 5 games and then never again, cause I'm a Phillies fan, but if you take teams away? No shot I could go that route with the other teams.
This format is a winner in a big way. Would be cool to see the number of potential players it could be after each question so you can see how efficiently chunks of the player pool are getting eliminated (could do this in stathead for most of these)
this was fun! don’t know the exact player but a player who was only briefly on the padres and diamondbacks would be fun to see how niche dalton and ryan can go
I remember Joel Pinero! He also pitched for the Cardinals. If I remember correctly, he started out okay for the Cardinals and then it went into a tailspin
Just started the video and they asked the wrong first question. Gotta start with “did this player play primarily in the AL/NL?” That knocks out three divisions immediately.
Would love an All-Time Great's quiz series featuring Lucas just to really have the boys show off. But also do this at least once a week. God bless the boys for New Years.
Such a great, easy idea for a game. Would be a lot of fun to rotate guys in and out. You could even do it Ref Guess style where guys compete separately to see if who can get a player in the fewest questions.
RIGHT??! they even floated Gardy SO early in the round so as soon as that got shut down i was yelling "ITS GOTTA BE MELKY! No way its NOT Melky!!!!" always huge love for the Melk Man. and as a huge Gardy appreciator too, i always loved the little connection between the two of them that year. one on his last season as a Yankee outfielder, one on his first, both doing whatever it takes to be out there and do what the team needs when the team needs it. handing the baton back and forth at somehow just the right time each time. Melky was so clutch for us and he will always remain a forever fave for me bc of his sheer Go Out and Get It approach to the game
Love this game for the record, but these guys are terrible about structuring their questions. I’m confident they’ll learn, but they figured out AL West by question 3 and didn’t narrow the team til the very end!
Dan Rourke: “Jolly, tremendous game made by you I will say”
Jolly: “It’s just 21 questions”
LOL
Weekly 21 questions would be Peak. Get some oldheads in there to guess 90s players too. This was amazing.
Rourke really saved the game with the ball knowledge that Melky switch hit
ball knowledge is important
Still waiting on lowest WAR draft possible
Lowest or closest to 0?
You’d have to set parameters. Like minimum of career PAs
@@stephenriesen4343It's an accumulative stat so not really. Can't have -2 war if you only have 50 PAs.
@@luuk3731 Sure, but it would also be easy to just draft players that played a few games in the majors and have basically gotten nothing.
@unnamedchannel2569 Gotta know a name for that parameter for every team though, which would be tough. Like sure, I know a few Phillies who played like 5 games and then never again, cause I'm a Phillies fan, but if you take teams away? No shot I could go that route with the other teams.
Loved this one. The camaraderie was off the charts
Love this idea for a regular game on the channel honestly. Or add it as a larger round in a game show
You guys are freaks. I love that you guys can get to Dan Haren in less than 21 questions.
Definitely would like to see this become a series.
Congrats to jolly for inventing a new game
This format is a winner in a big way. Would be cool to see the number of potential players it could be after each question so you can see how efficiently chunks of the player pool are getting eliminated (could do this in stathead for most of these)
I've been bingewatching you guys the last two weeks and this was the funniest game you've played!
great job and keep'em coming!
Do Rick Ankiel. The whole pitcher/outfielder bit will throw them off the scent
“Does his name rhyme with Ram Maren?” 😂😂
I like the guys working together for a shared goal. Switching up for us and them. Good picks with Dan Haren and the Melk man. Fun video!
Jolly you cooked don't abandon this
I want to see more of this content
this was fun! don’t know the exact player but a player who was only briefly on the padres and diamondbacks would be fun to see how niche dalton and ryan can go
Jollys best game yet tbh
Translate to English: It's just 21 Questions
As a mariners fan i don't blame for not knowing our rotation in the mid 2000s. Gil Meche? Joel Pinero? It's not pretty
jamie moyer is probably the best 2000s mariners pitcher and when he left the team he was 43!! it's crazy
I was thinking Moyer for a bit in there too, with that tricky debut year.
I remember Joel Pinero! He also pitched for the Cardinals. If I remember correctly, he started out okay for the Cardinals and then it went into a tailspin
This is a great format. You can really have so many episodes of this and these three are an excellent trio for guessing.
Just started the video and they asked the wrong first question. Gotta start with “did this player play primarily in the AL/NL?” That knocks out three divisions immediately.
This is my favorite game yet, please do more!
“The same number of people were on the Yankees and the Padres every year”
-Ryan Cohen 😂
Love this concept hope it’s part of the rotation! Definitely a series that can last for dozens of videos without getting stale
It's a nice change of pace for everyone to be on the same team. It's like the best part of sporcles and the best part of the games combined.
Love this one. Hope to see more.
This was one of my favorite video ideas you’ve done yet!!! PLEASE bring this back and get Jake on the next episode
That was fun! Would love to watch more of these~
Would love an All-Time Great's quiz series featuring Lucas just to really have the boys show off. But also do this at least once a week. God bless the boys for New Years.
This was great! Simple and super fun to watch them figure it out. Good stuff
Need more of this. that was a great watch,
Such a great, easy idea for a game. Would be a lot of fun to rotate guys in and out. You could even do it Ref Guess style where guys compete separately to see if who can get a player in the fewest questions.
This was fantastic. Love this!
This is dope please do more of this ! The guys seem to like it to
Definitely need more of this
Perfect format. Really proves that the JM staff knows ball.
I had Melky as soon as Jolly answered the RH hitter question the way he did. Loved that dude!
Have to bring this back weekly. So fun
great game format! please keep this around!
I loved this video. I definitely wanna see more of this. Good job guys
This is a really fun one. Keep 21 questions in the rotation
For someone who loves baseball but does not have the capacity to remember all of this stuff, I love this!
Id love to see more of this that was great
I love this. Also PLEASE do Plouffe 😂
Favorite game in channel history, feels like I’m playing as one of the guys, keep ‘em coming!
I enjoy all your content, but this game is absolutely fantastic and I love it
I loved that. Definetly more of that
Good idea, would love more of it.
This feels kinda like Team Refguess. I love it. Keep up the good work guys.
Amazing game!!!! Do this every week
I love this series need more of this
Honestly one of my favorite videos!
They took wayyyyy too long to ask what team the guy was on mainly lmao.
And then Dan did it immediately, good shit Dan.
this is such a good trivia game lol so creative
We need more of this
This was a great game.. more of this one
The way I was yelling Melky at the TV by question 9 in the second round 😂
Loved that team, loved him in particular
RIGHT??! they even floated Gardy SO early in the round so as soon as that got shut down i was yelling "ITS GOTTA BE MELKY! Melky was so clutch for us and he will always remain a forever fave for me bc of his sheer Go Out and Get It approach to the game
i want to see the boys try and guess Jamie Moyer. They probably will guess someone who debuted at least ten years after him
Don’t normally comment, but this was by far one of the more enjoyable games to be played on here. Really hope to be more of this
Hell yeah this needs to be a series
Jolly really formulated a winner here. Maybe this style of game can catch on to become a more generalized trend not limited to baseball
I need more of these 21 questions
Jonathan Lucroy would be a great player for this game! He has a lot of criteria to guess on, and we gotta give catchers some love!!!
This is a phenomenal video, love this content!
See if the boys could guess Henry Blanco? Or maybe like AJ Pierzynski?
That was great. More please.
Fun game. More of these please.
love the new game! Guys like Nick Punto, Michael Cuddeyer, Everyday Eddie, or Jolly Olive legend Brad Radke from my twins could be fun!
This video style ROCKS
At first i was thinking Jamie Moyer. This is a great video concept
I literally guessed Melky Cabrera after the first 2 hints and I've never been more proud of myself in my life 😂
Jim Johnson closer for next video could be a tricky one
This video is awesome
Loved watching Shaun Marcum pitch for the Jays in the mid 2000s. No way they'd ever get to him. Easy point for you Jolly
THIS IS A KEEPER. Amazing content
Let's edit these a bit tighter please, Big J! The tighter you make the edit the more JM Baseball content we can consume :)
Pat Venditte switch pitcher would be wild
Start to the second round was insane
The Yankee in the 2010s would’ve also answered Dalton’s question whether it was Chris Young, just wasn’t asked soon enough.
This was just utterly fun.
Make them guess Pete Rose!
My baseball hero during little league.
Always good fun gentleman! Keep um coming!
Happy new years you fellow baseball trivia junkies
Player suggestions: mike Cameron, Moises Alou, Aubrey huff, Lyle overbay
I'd love to see them try to guess notable NYM Albert Almora Jr.
The PED Suspension question is top tier
Awesome idea Jolly
Great video! need a Tony Womack lol
Loved it. But make them quess hall of famers next time
Great game and participants. More please.
Love this game for the record, but these guys are terrible about structuring their questions. I’m confident they’ll learn, but they figured out AL West by question 3 and didn’t narrow the team til the very end!
This video was awesome.
This was great
Loved this game! I feel like a good one for next time is Tim Beckham
As a twins fan I think nick punto would be a hard one for these guys
Chone Figgins, Coco Crisp, Kenny Lofton, John Rocker, Magglio Ordonez, Keith Foulke, Jarrod Saltalamacchia - could all be hard challenges
goated video idea
I loved this content. Do Michael Morse👀
Awesome team effort!
That was great!
That was sick
my first three questions would always be:
1. are they active
2. are they a pitcher
3. is their jersey number higher than 60
Run this back. Player Suggestion: Raúl Ibañez
