Some cats just are not hunters. Had a big black cat that was a stray I found as a kitten. He always was a little wild and didn’t like to be petted much, but he got to go in and out of the house. We’re right next to a farm and that meant there was mice to be found, and my cat did try and catch them but just never could catch any. The most he ever managed to get was a feather from a crow. Him and that crow I swear where arch enemies, so he was pretty proud of himself for getting a tail feather (crow was fine). He was just meant to be a house cat that played at being a barn cat sometimes, and we loved him anyway.

HE WAS A GREAT MOUSER 😊💜
Great wee cat house. We always had cats growing up on a croft, they would disappear into the hills for days if not a week at a time and come back fat and happy with a belly full of bunnies.
Becky sure can multitask, paint, bounce, reach while still soothing Lilibeth. That hutch is amazing! Did you write down the plans by chance- I'll BUY a set of them!! Thanks
That is amazing, great work! It might help the cats if you put a grip texture on the steps that they jump up on. Just so they don’t slip off when they are wet from rain or snow.
Awww I forgot about outlander!! He was a good boy! I’m glad you got some new kitties! My life is filled with cats. Would be my dream to have a huge property like yours with cats galore 😂
What a great idea for the cats! I tried to convert a rabbit hutch that I got from a friend into a little house for my cats when they are outside but yours is much nicer! Idea for the next place 😊

That is a beautiful condo for Huck and Finn. I think your other cats are intrigued and going to join them once the relationships bloom. Your baby is very cute. She's grown just from the last video. 💗😺
At 7:14 if you ever make a similar pen again, you might consider Insolation Sheets ! They can be a 1/2 an inch thick and come in Various Dementions that you can you can cut . And They have a Good " R " Value ! ( It's the Same Principle as Styrofoam Coffee Cups / 190 Deg. Fer. Coffee vs. 90 to 120 Degs., on the outside. And That's with only 1/16 th., of an inch thick / What would 1/2 " do ) ? ! But be sure to put some Black Felt ( Water Proofing Felt ) over the Foam Sheet insolation. You Never know when it will come in handy !
I’m not sure how far out you guys are but this family farm in O’Fallon Missouri opens their farm to the public for a small fee per person! They let people just roam and pet all of their goats and other animals while they have someone home. Apparently they make good money!
My dad hung 2X6s on metal L brackets up high in his barn along with short 'platforms' so the cats can get up there. He even threw som cat beds up there. His barn cats stay in the barn always on overwatch on the horses.
Love the new cat house. I hope your cats stay safe on the farm and thank you for caring enough for having them neutered. 👍 I have taken in a lot of stray & feral cats over the last 20 years and have had them all fixed, but the coyotes started picking them off last year, so I now have my backyard fenced in so the cats are safe and can come into the house to be warm. I'm afraid I turned into a crazy old cat lady. My 24 cats have a fourth of an acre, 2 barns and a big old farm house to live in, plus 2 dogs to protect them now.

Breezing through " One End of It " It will come out cold " at the Other " !
Basically its 1 ( String ) Vertical and 3 Horizontal ! And That's how it works !
[ If you can find it ] !
I mentioned That so that the " Cats " in their dwelling " could see outside their shelter " !
Lovely boys and I'm so happy you've gotten a little girl.
Hi.... Jake and Becky nice to see you, thank you for showing your video homestead 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 bye 👋 👕🐔🐓🐥🐕🐈🐖🐄🕊🐝🌱🏡🎥👍👍👍
I love the cat house. Best if all the family time and memories made.
Thank you, Lisa!
This is so cute
Sooooooooo cute I just want to hug little fin
W
elcome to the farm kitties!!
We had same thing happen to us! My sister found 2 kittens in a box behind a dumpster and we adopted them, about the same time you posted this video!
I love all your videos, such peace and joy
Wow amazing cat house! You are very talented!!!
Thanks, Joanna!
What the heck why are they so beautiful 😻
The thumbnail tho 😍😍
Very cute kittens. I had a little grey kitten once, I named her Gracie... She was grey, see?.
Having the boys neutered will keep them from roaming as they get older.. a great idea if you want to keep them in the farm. Enjoy the weekend!
💜 HEY NENA, I THINK YOU MIGHT WANT TO CHANGE THE WORD TO "NEUTERED" SWEETIE 😂 I DON'T KNOW WHY "AUTOCORRECT" WOULD CHANGE A WORD LIKE THAT TO MURDERED! OMGOSH 😳
IF JAKE & BECKY DIDN'T HAVE CHILDREN, THIS WOULD BE REALLY FUNNY THOUGH 🤣💜
@@katymcginn4644 thanks for catching that Kathy. I try to proof read but I have macular degeneration and sometimes I just can't see the small print..lol yes, under different circumstances that might have been funny but this wasn't the place.. sorry.
This video is so amazing and ty for rescuing
Thank you, Measha!
Wow the kittys are sooo cute I love the cat house it looks great
Some cats just are not hunters.
💜 OMGOSH YES GABRIEL 😂 I ACTUALLY HAD A KITTY WHO HAD CAUGHT A MOUSE & WAS PLAYING WITH IT! NEVER KILLED IT. I KNOW IT WAS IN SHOCK AT FIRST, BUT AFTER BEING "BATTED AROUND" A FEW TIMES, IT GOT UP & RAN AWAY! LOL 😆
MY OTHER CAT, MAXWELL, HE LOVED TO BRING ME "GIFT'S." HE WAS INDOOR/OUTDOOR, LOVED TO HUNT. HE WAS A GREAT MOUSER 😊💜
Great wee cat house. We always had cats growing up on a croft, they would disappear into the hills for days if not a week at a time and come back fat and happy with a belly full of bunnies.
HELLO ! Another awesome video. thank you for sharing. I am thinking about trying the Native products
Awesome 👏🏻
Tell us what you think!
Becky sure can multitask, paint, bounce, reach while still soothing Lilibeth. That hutch is amazing! Did you write down the plans by chance- I'll BUY a set of them!! Thanks
Video quality looks awesome
That is amazing, great work! It might help the cats if you put a grip texture on the steps that they jump up on. Just so they don’t slip off when they are wet from rain or snow.
Straw is a better insulator than hay and it whicks moisture away where as hay just molds.
I use straw in my outdoor cat houses.
Awww! I love these new kitties!
Those kittens are so calm considering the new surroundings also start a kitten farm
Awww I forgot about outlander!! He was a good boy! I’m glad you got some new kitties! My life is filled with cats. Would be my dream to have a huge property like yours with cats galore 😂
should add some weather stripping to the doors to the hut. help block any breezes
Good point, we’ll do that
Congratulations 👏
What a great idea for the cats! I tried to convert a rabbit hutch that I got from a friend into a little house for my cats when they are outside but yours is much nicer! Idea for the next place 😊
Thanks, Kira 😀
Awe! their so cute! I actually live extremely close to you guys! Back in September we adopted my little orange kitty named trick and he’s an absolute pain in the butt.
💜 I LOVE THE NAME 🥰🐱🐈🐱
Love your kittens. I hope they like there new home.
That is a beautiful condo for Huck and Finn. I think your other cats are intrigued and going to join them once the relationships bloom. Your baby is very cute. She's grown just from the last video. 💗😺
Your cat house is really cool! I LOVE CATS!! ❤ 🐈 😻 🐈⬛ 😺 🐱 😸 🐈 God Bless! Carmen
At 7:14 if you ever make a similar pen again, you might consider Insolation Sheets !
They can be a 1/2 an inch thick and come in Various Dementions that you can you can
cut . And They have a Good " R " Value !
( It's the Same Principle as Styrofoam Coffee Cups / 190 Deg. Fer. Coffee vs. 90 to
120 Degs., on the outside.
What a great cat house.
Thank you, Catherine!
Yay kittens 🐈⬛!!!!
Hope they love it! Nice job!
Thanks, Monika!
Hey 👋,the light faced Kitty is just the Cat I'm looking for. So darn cute 😍.
Great job building Uriah🙌👊.
That's a Fantastic House💥.
JO JO IN VT 💕😄
My dad hung 2X6s on metal L brackets up high in his barn along with short 'platforms' so the cats can get up there. He even threw som cat beds up there. His barn cats stay in the barn always on overwatch on the horses.
One of my cats is named fin too! Short for finnagen.
Those kittens were by the H&M country store in Jamesport. I remember actually playing with them with my brother. I live in Jamesport.
Yep!
Love the design of the house will keep bed area warm & dry.
Such cute kitties!
hopefully, sometime in the future, we could get "Cat House Cam"...maybe even just for a week or something :)
Sweet Video 💕, Love that you have new kitties, I have 1, getting another rescue
💜 BLESS YOUR HEART JENNIE FOR SAVING A RESCUE KITTY 😊🐈 I REALLY APPRECIATE YOU! SO WILL YOUR NEW FURBABY 🥰
STAY BLESSED 🙏😊💜💜💜
@@katymcginn4644 OMG,Thank you 💝
Love the new cat house.
Sweet cat house. Jake reminds me a lot of my dad... we built a chicken coop for our small backyard flock just about a year ago!
Love that paint
Awesome video keep up the great work. Can you do an update on all of your quail
Love the cat house.
Thanks, Jodi!
Love your family too. 🥰
As always, you never make something just for practicality. Cathouse looks beautiful!
Thanks 😊
