Hi everyone! I hope you are all well! As I mentioned before, we have been making a big change in our garden for our outdoor cats. Their new living space consists of two parts: Outdoor and indoor environments. You have watched the indoor part in this video and in the coming weeks, I'll show you their new outdoor environment. By the way, this special room has heated floors, so from now on the outdoor gang will have warmer winters :)
And I know that a lot of you have missed Coco (our neighbor's goofy little dog) but unfortunately our neighbor moved to another city quite a while ago so we don't get to see Coco anymore :(

Merhabalar. Umarım herkes iyidir. Daha önce de bahsettiğim gibi dışardaki kedilerimiz için bahçemizde bir süredir büyük bir değişiklik yapıyoruz. We have been feeding a stray cat for the past 4 days and despite the fact that she is stray she usually comes close to us. Any tips on how to gain her trust?

One morning I saw a stray cat in my yard and gave it some food. It returned for dinner. It was cold so I opened the door and in it walked. I decided to let it stay for ONE night. It never left or asked to. Nine years later we're still Best Friends. 🍁🐈

I don't know how old my Calico was when she showed up, but I was in first grade and she passed when I was pregnant with #2. She flew on planes, lived in 4 states, stayed with me through every illness and sadness.
So what you're saying is 9 years ago you stole somebody's cat? It's happened to me before it's very upsetting....
@@tp8077 No. When I took her to the vet a few weeks later they discovered a microchip. The vet called the owner and she said I could have her, so the microchip was transferred in my name. The woman said the cat was put outside for not using her litter box, but I never had any trouble. In my first comment I didn't include the long story because it would've been long. If the woman wanted her back I would've been sad, but I would have agreed. Nor do I think I would have had a choice. But I am glad it worked out and I can see how my first comment was confusing. I am sorry about your situation.

Me too! It seemed more like human behavior than cat behavior! By the way, they were all so anxiously waiting to come inside as if they knew it was for them. Lots of surprises for us!

I loved this. I live in a farming town and there are a lot of outside cats. There are a lot that have never been touched by a human. I have turned our covered patio into a sanctuary for them. I feed them,and provide shelter/beds for them,especially in the winter!!

Most stray cats actually live full and happy lives! Most don’t like humans haha. Don’t feel bad for the stray cats, most of them want to be out there and have their own homes. But what this guy did is amazing

My female cat Nala gave birth to 2 stillborn kitties and was depressed, and one day my mother found out that a stray cat that lived in a parking lot and had a newborn kitty got ran over and died, so she saw the perfect chance and brought the kitty to me. Nala immediately accepted him and cheered up. I called him Horus, and despite my mother having saved his life she doesn't even look at her when she comes, he chose me

Loved that. Our house has floor heating and my cat loooves it. The bathroom floors are usually warmer (we usually turn the heating a bit higher in the bathrooms and their floors also save heat better) so he sometimes sleeps there lol

These have to be the luckiest feral cats in the world. They’re not being forced to become docile housecats (which feral cats would hate), and they have their own outdoor and indoor areas and consistent food. Walter Santi, you’re incredible!

I love how cat lovers just understand each other. Like imagine telling someone you watch youtube videos of cats purposefully, where the owner has dozen of cats and dedicates a special room for them, decorates it with photos of them, get them each individual bowls and houses and then lets them in as if it is a grand opening and I love the dramatic music and that it was all filmed. And I'm sitting here at 2 o clock in the morning trying to cure my insomnia lol and I love it!!

I like the inspector gadget cat. He climbs the house and inspects everything first. True leader. Then he goes into the white drawer by the main door the only place with no roof. He feels the most safe.

Jay Moseley these guys are all amazing former feral/stray cats that these incredible guys care for in their garden. They have done so many amazing things over the years for any cat lucky enough to show up in his garden. He keeps his pet cats inside at all times but these cats were all born outside. now they all thave a nice safe warm/cool dry inside place whenever they want it💞

No he looks after them very well, they've always had safety, food and shelter, I haven't seen any of them die if anything more join the gang and yes his girlfriend is still alive she's the black and white one

When she stared at the pictures I have no idea why I laughed and cried at the same time. I guess because it was so adorable and you can see the absolute recognition and it was just the sweetest thing I think I've seen an animal do. And it's just a wonder how people can hurt any animal.

My cats just watched this with me. Afterwards they looked at their food bowls (old white porcelain bowls that don't match bought at a flea market). They gave me a long stare, turned around, shook their hind legs and are now ignoring me.

That was so cute when the black and white cat looked up at the pictures and stared. Too cute. Great job! I have a stray cat who claimed me about 2yrs ago and now she lives in my garage full time. She’s quite spoiled as well. We installed a cat door so she can come and go as she pleases. She’s not in need of anything. My husband always asks me if I will make him a 5 star resort like I made for the kitty in our garage. Lol. I’d love for her to come inside and stay, but she’s a little timid. Hopefully she’ll feel comfortable enough to come inside one day. We live in Michigan so the winters here can be brutally cold. So she has 2 separate heating mats, plush surroundings from blankets, two fuzzy kitty beds (one heated and one not heated), a heated water dish for the cold months, we built an outdoor insulated cat house which actually stays in the garage, (you can never be too warm😉), endless supply of food and kitty treats, cat shelves/perch for climbing and a very large window for observing the bird feeder all day. We call it CatTV. Now...if you’re wondering what kind of man would allow this much garage space to be used by the cat, then I’ll tell you. First, its a 3 car garage and second, my husband is a kitty lover as well. My kitty also gets plenty of love and lap-time from her family. 😻. As the saying goes “dogs have owners, cats have servants” 😹
I'm glad you took in a stray and made him a forever home. However, the garage is not a place for a timid cat, or any cat for that matter. What she needs is human companion. It might be too late for her to become totally comfortable with humans since cats form the bond with people within the first 4 months but it would help at least. I have a stray. He was 4 mths old when I got him and for the first 2 weeks I never even saw him. He would hide somewhere in my house (I still don't know where) but did come out to eat at night. I was just about to give up on him bc I felt so bad for him and just that day he came out from his hiding place and we've been best buddies since. He really doesn't like men though. He's 5 now. Can you put a door for her on the the garage/ house door and allow her to enter into the house that way? You would have to check out the fire code for that first.

Also, now that I know you keep your cars in the kitty paradise, please be careful with the coolant (ethanol glycol) that might leak from your cars. A couple of licks of that sweet tasting poison will kill a cat. My neighbor's cat died from it. I guess he had stepped in it and then licked his paws. Regards from Finland and stay healthy!

I have watched enough dodo videos to know even an elderly feral could adapt to the inside. Like you said they will take sometime to adjust ... just give them space, lots of warmth, food and *love*

I think she was scared of them. She puffed out her fur, she was wagging her tail, and she stood tall. Usually cats do that to make them selves look bigger, which means they’re scared.

I just saw that the Animal Rescue Site featured this video ... I hope that you and that site get many more followers. I go there every day as well as checking this site and Adorable Paws. Love cats and the people who love them and show kindness to animals. YAY for Walter Santi and all who are kind.
I'm so envious of how nice and clean, dry and well lit this room is compared to my small garage where i feed my cats in cold and rainy weather. It's hard enough to keep clean in dry weather. Just now because of a big rainstorm, it's a real mess. The floor is covered with muddy paw prints, leaves and other plant debris, water trickling in under the back door, and scattered bits of kibble from all the large square plastic lids and cat dishes.
I've never seen cats get along with each other so well.
They have tapped into an energy that has not hit humanity ...yet.
Cats are actually very communal and social critters. Sure there are always one or two who have to start drama . The shelter me and my ex ran(she still does) had about 35 "free range" cats in our "gen pop" area that all got along really well. Except for one old female who used to just walk around swatting at everyone and generally being a bitch, she didn't care for humans either.

I like how all the cats gathered at the door waiting to enter. Cats are very smart & they knew what u were doing. I am glad u took the time to make this special room for them as all animals need TLC & they will love u for it. I particularly like the enlarged photos on the walls, they are incredible, what beautiful shots. All cats need owners like u & this is a heart-warming video that makes my day. It's awesome to see most of these cats walking around in the room with their tails straight up! This is not only because they feel comfortable and secure, they are happy!
The people with all their “should’ve...” and “you need to ...” put yourself in this guys shoes. Took a long time to painstakingly put together a brand new space w heated floors and Cat beds. For cats who are feral and have never been indoors. Cats who surely , if asked, aren’t looking for toys or anything extra. Wouldn’t it be annoying , after allllllll that work, to have someone nitpick over total minutia? Some of you are insufferable
