I use the included side pockets to include the physical prescription print outs for controlled medicines (especially traveling it’s helpful to have a hard copy to show if you’re carrying the pills in bags) along with my primary Doctor’s cards, and a mini-write up that includes necessary medical info like diagnosis, surgeries, symptoms, and complete list of meds just in case you need to go see a doctor while traveling because you won’t have your pill bottles.

That’s an absolutely excellent idea. I’m gonna pin your comment. Thanks for watching and sharing.

@@TransplantHelper oh thank you so much!
Everything in life with chronic illness becomes that much harder than it is for anyone else, especially travel - so I’m glad if my little tip can help anyone else avoid unnecessary headaches abroad!

That front elongated pouch would be perfect for your insulin pens!

Seems like it would take a long time to fill vs the top load style. Thanks for the info!

I agree, it’s still a great option for going in a suit case for travel. But I’ve found a much better one I use now. Thanks for watching. ruclips.net/video/Utz0Nkat37Y/видео.htmlsi=tlr8FHqo4zR0iaks

Need something for a monthly my aunt is blind so I need it for her med keep.

This a great monthly one that several of my friends use. There are several a bit cheaper but this one is a step better because of the zipper pouch. It keeps meds from slipping in the event you don’t get an individual case snapped shut. That also adds to be being a good travel option

    Hi Jim,
That looks like a good product, but not for us. Josh gets his meds in blister packs. Then, I take them and put a week's worth in a pill strip for a.m. and p.m. He needs to prove to his team that he is med compliant. Also something to consider is that ppl with weak hands or shaking would have a difficult time with the baggies.
    Blessings!

I definitely had many complain they couldn’t open the blister packs. I’m glad y’all have a good system going.

Btw crazy but as of this posting it’s now $15.99!

    • @TransplantHelper
      @TransplantHelper  4 года назад +2

Yes, it seems to fluctuate 12, 9, now 15. You might wait it out but I can say after using it for a week it would be worth even the 15

The Transplant Helper I guess they’re experimenting with different price points to see which works best. I agree with you definitely worth the money even at 20 it would be a good investment!

This organizer would take forever to fill. Who has that much time?

    • @TransplantHelper

I tend to agree, I never use a pill organizer for daily use. I do use it when I have a busy day planned and need to grab and go. For example I stock it full and leave it handy just to grab it when I need it for overnight trips or long day trips. Only because it’s light weight and portable.

      Agreed.
Easier to flip the tops on the regular pill organisers and fill everything in one go
