ruclips.net/video/4HncWLreMbQ/видео.html This dude makes excellent mod guides for fallout new vegas I recommend you do the whole series from start to finish to get it a lot easier done and make modding so much more simpler
I was literally just thinking about how i should make some presets to play with some of these mod loadouts that he reccomends but I've never really messed with them yet either haha
After returning to play NV, I learnt that it's better to install the essentials first before a playthrough (cut content, patches, anti-crash, bug fix, tweaks). Essentials like sprint, quickloot and HUD mods are also a first. As you play, think what kind of mod/ scripts you NEED to add what would improve gameplay. Then comes the cosmetics (weapons, armors & others). Keep it small (50+ mods) to keep that modding addiction to minimum. I've put up about 90+ hours without ever worrying about what needs to be added.
I don't know why but I've always felt reload animations for modded weapons to be stiff, probably because the animation wasnt first priority but even here the modded ones feel off
I agree with you there, I prefer a lot of hand-made animations that are somewhat janky or have a specific style to them as opposed to trying to achieve realism. Some examples being Left 4 Dead (especially its beta reloads), TF2, Halo up until Reach, Doom 3.etc. Just a ton of 2000s shooters mainly. Simple, clear and satisfying is better imo, I also like when the gun isn't too static and they lift a rifle when they reload it, bring a shotgun across their chest or point the barrel up to pump it.etc Also give me a ton of animated recoil on those shotgun blasts, I love it when that thing wildly flings vertically, it's so punchy idc if it's not realistic
"hey how do we make the weapons in New Vegas a bit more...realistic?' "add shaking" "I mean yeah the guns in New Vegas are pretty static so I could whip up some animations for recoil and walkin-" "NO! i mean SHAKING like Marty Mcfly Parkinson's type shit even when reloading!"
I don't even play Fallout, but I adore this. Mods that change or fix animations always make them too good and smooth for them to be fitting, but this one gets it.
His animations are generic IMO and they lean too far towards the style of tactical shooters. FNV is an RPG game and I’d rather the weapon animations be as close to the vanilla style as possible.
God damn there is so much stuff in fallout new vegas, we were robbed when 4 came out, we got absolutely shit for weapons in terms of what these games had...
Wobble, jiggle, and weapon inertia are some of the least immersive things for me because you hold your gun tight IRL and I aim with my waist not my arms
Its kind if weird how we have essentially a premium lego set of a game but the pieces are like...sometimes defects. And we happily just make new legos to replace almost half the set.
Bash on call of duty, but they went all out in definition for firearms in the new MW. They're some of the cleanest animations in video games. But people will bash on it anyways since it's "cAlL oF duTy"
Makes me want a New Vegas remaster just not from Bethesda because they’ll screw it all up and I’ll hate it and go back to the old NV with mods. Our only hope is the F4NV team but those guys have full time jobs and limited resources, will take them a very long time to get it done. At least we can thank the modders for caring for the community.
Literally adds almost nothing and the reloading one is 100% grade A retarded. They make it look more like cod then add weapon sway to make it look realistic
I have a small issue that i had with the mod and that is that the reload anims worked however the other animations that would be in the mod didn't and were still vanilla
Then you'd have a bunch of cool mods for a game that isn't really that good to begin with. You're making mods for people who will use them for 20 minutes.
I absolutely hate these "my wrists are made of jello and I have parkinsons" type of weapon animations. JUST. HOLD. IT. STILL. Way too jiggly and shaky. COD MW2019 and it's consequences have been a disaster on the FPS animation community.
It’s not a Bethesda, and an Obsidian game if there’s tons wrong with it. Fight me. Outerworlds was garbo, and New Vegas is (gameplay wise) the worst fallout.
Good thing it's a good enough RPG to make it fun, moddable too. I'd rather play a great RPG with shit gunplay than a shit RPG with meh gunplay. Bethesda doesn't have shit on this.
Dumb question because I'm sure it's super easy even with all these videos is there anyone that can help me mod my fallout New Vegas so that it doesn't crash on me so much I've never minded and I literally don't know how if not I understand I'm sure this is a noob level thing to do .

I love these short mod vids. As a veteran of new Vegas I'm almost embarrassed to admit I don't know how to install character presets 😅
You set it in nexus as profiles. It's really simple and takes like 2 minutes but it's something I neglected for awhile as well

I dont either for any fallout game except like 4 if im lucky and do it on accident
90% downloading mods
10% actually playing

all for it to crash after 15 minutes
I’ve been downloading for hours lol 😂
@@NovaCaine2489 it crashes if you are a smooth brain that doesnt know how to use fomm and didnt install new vegas anti crash and nvse
@@fasulimac92 or if god forbid you have an amd gpu, ffs.
I kinda like FNV and FO3 animations something about how clunky and janky makes them really nostalgic to me
I don't know why but I've always felt reload animations for modded weapons to be stiff, probably because the animation wasnt first priority but even here the modded ones feel off
@@sliggoomaster7213it's because they're over animated, most reload animations are. There's no reason for there to be so many random motions.
@@sliggoomaster7213They seem too over smoother.

people will say this and then complain about fo4 animations
I prefer hitman animations because are more satisfying
Is that who the call of duty jab is aimed at?
@@LiveseyKnight I’d hope he was talking about Dedicated Weapon Animations which definitely are very COD like
@@LiveseyKnight nah, Hitman's anims are pretty tame
@@LiveseyKnightWeirdly FNV has very few over the top reload anim mods, fallout 4 has the majority of straight up copy pasted animations from MW
Hit also covers most if not all weapons, rock doesn't cover all the weapons.

Bro I hated people who would call “fixing” the weapon animations by just using mw anims
I don't even play Fallout, but I adore this. Mods that change or fix animations always make them too good and smooth for them to be fitting, but this one gets it.
you have to play new vegas

Thank god. I was anticipating this kind of stuff. I'm so glad it wasn't.

Damn I've been painting with the windows closed again
People swear this is the best game ever created but have never played the game normally
Thats because the parts we praise, the storytelling and freedom of choice, are difficult to mod.
The worse parts, like the combat however...
Man i wanna install FNV again now
Hitmans animation mods are also incredible and easy to install

small details that look great
I never knew the guns were out of sync with the sounds. That explains so much why the shooting feels so awful in this game.
I love tha the community has cared for and improved the game more than the developers
th
what?
dude the developers were only given like 18 months.
if they were allowed to work on the game more, they would've

Nah, one of the biggest things everyone was praising when MW19 was coming out was the passion of the animation team.
Idk I kinda like the cod type animations
Oh... i always thought that there was something wrong with the hipfire sounds and animation
just so your game can crash 30 seconds after loading in
>mods New Vegas
>Doesn't even have patches
Idk why, but I really don't like the animation mods. The very non-natural vanilla animations are in my heart ❤❤
How about REMOVING the damn headbob when reloading
B42 inspect is dope too
Use KNVSE animation sets instead. Clean animations by Rockbiter keep Vanilla timing while looking great
Amazing mods.
I dream of a day when over-animated reloads finally die.
One of the first things you learn about animation is exaggeration
Laser guns should not have recoil in my opinion
In my opinion the inertia mod makes the courier seem more inexperienced
Makes me want a New Vegas remaster just not from Bethesda because they’ll screw it all up and I’ll hate it and go back to the old NV with mods. Our only hope is the F4NV team but those guys have full time jobs and limited resources, will take them a very long time to get it done. I'd recommend hitmans animations instead as they cover almost every weapon in the game. This mod is great but it only covers some of them
Lol, me looking so confused because I don't see any difference.
Literally adds almost nothing and the reloading one is 100% grade A retarded. They make it look more like cod then add weapon sway to make it look realistic
The same😂
I have a small issue that i had with the mod and that is that the reload anims worked however the other animations that would be in the mod didn't and were still vanilla
I actually prefer the og animations feel more right for the game
Man I wish FNV got a current gen re-release for console modding. I don't even want a remake, just the same game with console mod support
"we didn't want to make this game call of duty, so we made it call of duty"
Im sadly too much of a degen to pass up on the hitman animations. Especially the treatments he gives to unique weapons
To be clear, I want staged reloads.
Where's the dynamic crosshair bud? That was first result when I searched for it, as cool as all this is :(
Nice mod but why did it fix the reload canceling? Its a useful feature
Ayy awesome
til now i used Asurahs animations mod
I can wait to play 2 minutes per crash
graphics next?
Whens the next FNV mod video!?
Very soon
Omg yes
Does clean animations work with WMX?
Ya I really hate reload cancel after a bug is after me
reloading is a penalty
Why can't people do these kinds of mods for Fallout 4 instead? It's got more to work with and less to show for it
Then you'd have a bunch of cool mods for a game that isn't really that good to begin with. You're making mods for people who will use them for 20 minutes.
You don't need to fix what is already perfect.
yeah that's why these mods exist: the animations aren't perfect, not even close
I dislike mods that remove features like reload canceling
I just use hitman animations with locomotion
I started modding new Vegas and now i cant fast travel
I have a question that probably won’t be answered here but I’m gonna ask it anyway. Can you get and use mods for Fallout New Vegas on the Xbox 1?
No.
Nope. Only on PC.
Pc gets all the fun
Анимация перезарядки красивые, но то, как рн деожит оружие в руках....
Hitman's animations are way better than these imo
Now make something non vanilla
Mods that stay loyal to the vision of the game are sadly not in the majority.
Yeah, I always try to keep what made the game great the same or slightly modified. Hate crazy mod lists that change everything
Ok now how to add mod to epic game store?
Thats cool but ain't no mods or sh on Xbox for fnv
Can't even want to play cod new vegas these days sheesh
The first vanilla is actually WAY better than the mod lmao
Why show us this. When the console players want modded new Vegas the most
I prefer the classics
hi
ward
People really love and fall out new vegas To mod Is it that much
Hmm...
Wow mods that make it more realistically annoying
Vanila is good
he’s saying the pedo sex ring stories come from clowns, the stuff about his daughter was planted.
I absolutely hate these "my wrists are made of jello and I have parkinsons" type of weapon animations. JUST. HOLD. IT. STILL. Way too jiggly and shaky.
COD MW2019 and it's consequences have been a disaster on the FPS animation community.
Do your self a favor and grab hitman's animations instead
So you make reloads more unrealistic just to add more stuff to make it realistic? Ngl these kind of modders got the same mental aptitude as furries
It’s not a Bethesda, and an Obsidian game if there’s tons wrong with it.
Fight me. Outerworlds was garbo, and New Vegas is (gameplay wise) the worst fallout.

So remove screenshake, it make me feel dizzy
