Thanks so much for having me on, Mutant Mods! I had an amazing time working with you to make this episode! 😆
My pleasure!
Love your work man, Keep it up!
Honestly, your mods have tremendous quality, I hope no one ever takes away your inspiration, have a great day my amigo
I've been using your mods in every playthrough and it's just amazing to see the variety they add to the game. Thank you so much for your work!
Keep making awesome stuff dude!
Man the idea of interviewing the mod makers is just plain genius this video is executed beyond perfectly
@Juniper_Wippersnache The art or my account?
having tammer as a New Vegas NPC talking and moving while the real mctammer explains things is awesome
MEATRIIIIIDDDERRRRRRRRR
Love this series and MC Tammer is truly an iconic modder, love using his work already!
Couldn't agree more!
Tammer deserves the world for his work. some of the most creative mods I have ever seen and I've been modding New Vegas since I was a wee lad back in 2013. Probably my favorite modder out there. I hope he never runs out of gas because he's done some things I didn't even know were possible with New Vegas.
I'm surprised he does this shit without NVSE personally
The baby mod is an incredibly good idea. Turns fallout into the walking dead. Nice video and a very talented modder.
I instantly thought "No way, I can reenact Lone Wolf and Cub" personally
They turned fallout into a hairy dad game, it’s definitely an interesting idea.
@@im_flatlmao thats the name of the quest
I AM NOT tryna be a dad in high school bro
If you didn't know (i'm not trying to be an ass), it's also the name of an excellent manga. If you're into less flashy, tropy manga, I recommend giving it a read. :)@@flipthegrid8809
The new Vegas, moding community is arguably the best in all of gaming. I mean, there’s thousands of mods from Little improvements to complete overhaul’s 🤯
You serious? Does not even come close to skyrims modding scene
@@hownottobasic4476uhhh, Skyrim is an empty game. 2nd, all it’s mods are pointless graphical enhancements or tiddies. FNV modding scene releases revolutionary mods on a monthly/weekly basis.
@@Mutant_Mods kind of a fanboy reply tbh, skyrim has many incredible mods, saying it has only graphics mods is such a dumb take, and skyrim is an empty game?..... I guess thats how every obsidian fanboys think *cough* *cough* outer worlds
@@Mutant_Mods I prefer Fallout NV over Skyrim as well but to say that about the Skyrim modding scene is just plain ignorance tbh.
@@Mutant_Mods Dude, I love New Vegas but this is beyond delusional, it just makes me wonder how some parts of the community gaslighted themselves into this way of thinking, especially when stuff like Enderal or Nehrim exists.
Your content is so good man, every single New video is the promise of a good week of modding at least
I appreciate that!
@@Mutant_Modsgood way of adding the creators to the video
dude, your videos are SOOOOO good for such a small channel. not to mention that even though you pretty much only focus on F:NV every video feels fresh and new and I'm genuinely excited to watch them. One of the ONLY youtubers I click on everytime I see one of their videos in my feed
I appreciate that a lot bro!
Thank you SO much for introducing me to Tammer's mods! This guy is honestly an inspiration
I was not expecting this. I love Tammer's work and I use them every playthrough just to add variety to the game. Good choice featuring him!
This series is absolutely great. It's so nice to have a platform to hear these mod authors' minds.
No, Obsidian wouldn't have made a backpack baby mod.
I don't think anyone other than this absolute madman would
you must not know about the "obsidian backpack mod" incident
God damn, Tammer sure is talented.
Impeccable presentation and commentary. This was well worth the wait, and highest praise to you and Tammer for this. I feel like I should be paying for this type of content.
Your viewership is enough payment friend.
Mods are just the gift that keeps on giving. Especially when they feel like part of the actual game
If anyone plays Terraria try the Caffeinated Mod! It has a lot of cool stuff like a Railway rifle, Doom plasma guns, CoD ray gun, custom sounds, vending machines and more! I also have a collection of mods that is made by me or commissioned by me and it's all optional
Come Fly With Me Backing Track: ruclips.net/video/Z7ELtq-kBVc/видео.html
Thank you so much for taking the time to interview a mod creator, I'd love to see more stuff like this in the future. It helps folks appreciate how much effort goes into stuff like this.
Cool modder, his philosophy and approach to modding is commendable. I'm really impressed with the weapon ideas and the result. Probably try to study the tutorials and combine some of his work into one ESP for myself, as I liked at least 13 unique guns and 2 companions with armor shop. Thank you for inviting him to the review and introducing him to us, you have a great channel here on RUclips. I sincerely wish you creative success, gentlemans.

This video was actually fantastic, the editing and passion behind this is just impressive, keep up the good work
I love this kinda of videos, its always nice to give mod creators the credit they deserve. It also great for people to find new and great mods. Fantastic idea mutant.
Couldn't agree more!
This video makes me wonder how many other great modders do not host on Nexus anymore. I had no idea this modder and the mods existed.
“I never got into war hammer, heroin seems like a much cheaper hobby”
Ahh.. so true..
So great to actually hear a mod maker getting to talk about his work and why he made it. Thank you for uploading the both of you!
Awesome videos and great idea to have mod showcases of 1 certain modder with them explaining their stuff, great video as always!
Excellent video. Love the idea of this series, putting a spotlight on individual modders.
dude tammer is actually such a cool guy, and these mods look and sound awesome, its a crime that i had never heard of this man or of his mods before.
The mods have quality and effort that's sure, but I don't think they have a lot of that promoted "seamless integration" or "lore friendly". Still, the mod appear to be pretty good and fun.
This is becoming my fav youtube series man and also expanding my load list into insanity. You're a hero Mutant and the modders absolutely deserve the spotlight.
Fantastic video and love this format and I hope you do it again! Didn’t know about Jessica, but now I’m gonna throw her into the mod list!
Of all the things I expected to see in this mod showcase, Celestia holding a Gatling lasergun wasn't one of them.
'You can also breast feed the baby if you're female as well'
Uh.
Ok, who's going to tell him that women don't spontaneously start lactating in the presence of infants?
Yes they can. Many comments stated what you said. It’s possible, google it.
Technically speaking, repeated manual stimulation *can* induce lactation, but definitely not as simple as 'oh if you're female you can breast feed'
This is genuinely a fantastic video. MCTammer seems like such a genuinely cool guy and his mods have so much love and talent put into them. I would love to see more of this series as modders never seem to get the recognition they deserve!
I love your content. I've added a lot of mods you've covered I never knew existed. It's great that there are still people covering mods for this game, and you're the best doing it, subbed with alerts on.
My favorite part about this series so far is that it shines light on these under the radar modders with some serious talent. MC Tammer is just what I was looking for when it comes to lore friendly additions, and aditionally fitting the theme of the game!
We were spoiled for a very long time with mods being very true to the feel of fallout. The state of mods have been just a meme for so long. I'm glad to see some sort of respect return for keeping it to the feel of the game.
I'd been anticipating this video for months, waiting for the premiere and everything, and just about jumped in my seat when you answered my question last. Thank you! Keep it up, you're one of the finest modders this great game will ever have.
Mutant Mods, Fallout New Vegas was my first Fallout I ever played, and I still enjoy returning to it. You give me all the more reason to jump back into the Mojave! Thank you for making these videos! And thank you for your mods, Mc Tammer! I love that these games still have active loving fanbase! I hope you continue making content for Fallout!
MC Tammer's creativity and talent never cease to amaze me. His outfit pack is so creative , and I can't wait to try his weapons and companions mods
Love Tammer's work. super creative author, further supported by how unique he made his Q&A segment.
this is my favorite series from you and one of the only fallout channels i watch, keep up the good work bro.
This was absolutely awesome! I hope you can manage to get Hitman47101 or maybe Xilandro on in the future. Interviewing modders is a great idea!
My brother in Atom, this is quite the project you made. I love hearing about MC's design process and philosophies in modding, not to mention these huge mods he has made. Like one of your other videos, I'm saving this again on my Watch Later playlist in case I go back to playing FNV again. Thank you!
Awesome moooods! If I ever reinstall new vegas for a play through, ima be sure to add these to my mod list!
Amazing video and concept! Can't wait for more!
13:31 That mod is genius, if a super mutant hits you from behind, you have a shield!
YOU SICK MAN or woman, not assuming your gender, no sir or MAAM. I myself identify as a super mutant.
@@Mutant_Mods I'm a Mr. Gutsy
I love Tammer's, his stuff are wonderfully crafted and have interesting vanilla friendly mods that enhanced fnv gameplay more subtle and fun.
his scientist's voice acting reminds me of Half-Life :D
Yes very typical Scientist Tone Stereotype.
I just wanna say how much I appreciate your vids. It’s turned new Vegas into one of my favorite all time games. Props to tammer too whos amazing armor pack is a staple for my game!
this is the perfect mod video. laying everything out, being thorough and then having Tammer talk about his creations after the fact. it being well edited by a editor. not spoiling any of the big details on the bigger projects. this is a playbook example of how mod reviews should be.
Also, just taking a moment to appreciate that ONE. MAN. made all these mods. for free. all because of his passion for games and his love of the games hes played. never taking money from anyone. actual king. the industry needs more people like Tammer.
"Every added dependency is an additional barrier to entry."
Fucking thank you. In so few words, that is what I've been (poorly) trying to explain to everyone who criticizes me for not utilizing extra script extenders.
While I still use NVSE because it's a necessity for some of my ideas, I refuse to use any other script-extenders because they are constantly being updated and changed. And when script extenders get changed, functionality can become broken. For that reason, I always make sure every one of my mods can work completely fine with legacy NVSE and the newer xNVSE. Legacy NVSE is never changing. It is no longer being updated. And there is a whole history of mods that function with legacy NVSE. That's why some of the mods I upload have NVSE as the only dependency, and every other mod has no requirements at all.
Tammer and his mods are incredible, the kind of that should be included in the vanilla game from the start.
This was great! Will definitely look into his mods.
Great video, and I love seeing mctammer in a vid, i love his kit bashed weapon and armor mods. His work is great, I love how passionate he sounds about his work and inspirations, and I appreciate his dedication to keeping his weapons mostly lore friendly and only using vanilla material to make it. It also helps that the mods aren't too taxing for lower end pcs, and they aren't too big.
My favorites are the emotional support weapon, and honest herb's used power armor dealership, tammer really gets the fallout sense of humor down.
Dang tammer is quite a interesting guy one of the guys that inspired me to start learning how to mod.
He was easy to work with!
Man this is such a crazy thing to see, I just found tammers weapons mod and have been trying to get it to work
Amazing video! And the editing is so gooood!
Edited by: itheparrott, his channel link in the description.
@@Mutant_Mods Oh I know! hes one of my best friends! I've been on his channel all the time and hes even edited a vid for me!
Freaking loooove those weapons by Mctammer! Feels like Gun Runner’s Arsenal Pt.2.
I’m used to running Another Millenia, but my next playthrough is gonna be super Lore Friendly.
Big thanks to modders for keeping this masterpiece alive, your work is most appreciated!❤
It's amazing to see how you gonna interview some modders! You gonna interview someone more like Hitman or Someguy? :D
Hopefully soon
Can't wait to make series of modding NV again these mods are 10/10 my friend!
Amazing Video Mctammer Is such a humble and honest person, do mods for the sake of it because he love to modding and shares all that creativity with everyone thats why Fallout have some of the most amazing comunity after all this years! So much thanks to Mutant Mods for a great work together on this Video!
The "autumn leaves" mod is one of the best mods I have ever played. You should check it out.
Nice to see a new upload from you my brother. You're doing Class-A content for the Fallout modding community, which is one of the most exciting gaming communities I've been a part of for a while now. Keep making these good showcase videos (and maybe more for Doom in the future....? please?) Cheers!
Doom video in the works, & it’s a good one! Very underground mod that deserves WAY more attention.
Always been a fan of his work, especially the armors. It’s pretty much an essential in my mod list
22:00 literally auschwitz
26:01 AHAHAHHAJJAJJAJAJAJAJAAJJA
Oy vey
Major respect for the complete coherently and in depth explanation of a very difficult design process. Dudes a genius
Absolutely outdid yourself here man, holy shit. Loving the format, keep doing you man. Tammer was great
None of these mods work for me sadly
Those guns are hilarious, but little details regarding the integration into the lore:
- The USSR hasn't been heard off since the great war, 200 years ago, so the Russian accent is entirely extinct in the US
- The US' culture stopped in the 50s so Disco was never invented, let alone popularized. Boogie for instance would make more sense, and look suitably silly.
exactly its not lore accurate at all.
Weren’t there like two Russian guys in fallout 4.
@@CD-zi6rb It also had a kid survive in a fridge for 210 years.
fallout lore is stupid anyway the series is creatively bankrupt, new vegas is a good game inspite of that
@@TheNatybo That was dumb but to be fair they imply that Ghouls can just feed off radiation. This is even implied by the Ghoul in the Dead Money DLC.
Excellent mods and video!
I have just recently started modding new Vegas and these videos are really useful in finding good mods
25:15 ... How? So you can one day simply remove the mods from existence when you decide to go on a power trip, removing everyone's access to them? Very ironic considering you think they're violating the "community spirit" of mods. If you truly cared about this community spirit you talk about you'd make your mods and code available under a GPL license of sorts so the whole modding community could truly benefit from it. As it stands you're just fragmenting the community in an attempt keep full control over your "creations", even more ironic considering you're reusing proprietary assets from Bethesda/Obsidian which you _don't_ own.
Say what you want about Nexus, but they had the right idea, once you put this stuff out there it's not yours to keep anymore, it's _everyone's_ .
Everyone's point exactly, nexus did what it did and these modders in no time flat proved why nexus was in the right.
>"You'd Think These Fallout New Vegas Mods Were Made by Obsidian"
>"Seamless Integration"
>Space station player home
Despite the absurdity, a space station settlement is certainly with Fallout’s humor. Hell, Classic Fallout games have certainly done more ridiculous things
*explosive cows that can one shot you random event*

Absolute clown
@@nxmx6ix >no
god that was interesting, mctammer sounds like a really nice and invested guy
Extremely impressive modding! this dudes cool
There's also a really good KNVSE pack on the nexus that cover's most of his guns if you don't want to use the base game animations. As well as RageNClear making dedicated Knvse animations for several of his guns. My favorite of Tammer's is his Snakebite .45
F3 fans really do like their baby eating mods.
25:15 Oh, he's one of those modders who threw a temper tantrum when Nexus said they shouldn't be allowed to delete their mods on a whim, an actual serious problem that was affecting lists and load orders every time a modder was mad about something.
Both parties have made mistakes but Nexus is primarily at fault. It’s not a big deal having a mod be deleted & breaking a collection. Seeing as how collections did really become the crazy big feature they imagined. Wabbajack is better.
It's their mod and their creation. Nexus would be nothing without modders.
It's their right to delete stuff they don't want anymore.
Holy shit dude, amazing video! The Q&A animation was so fucking impressive! Truly impressive
Speaking of CoD4 and stamp metal machine pistols, my favorite weapon was the scorpion.
1:58
I understand that the author wanted to achieve individuality by adding a character with a Russian accent, but if you think about it, it looks out of place. According to the history of the game, there is no information about the USSR / Eastern European countries in the game universe. If this person has lived in the post-apocalyptic USA all his life and even if he comes from the corresponding commune, he still should no longer have an accent.
🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓
all his mods are memes.
You just put actual thought into this. That's where you went wrong. He doesn't care. He doesn't play games. He doesn't know jackshit about game balance or lore or anything relevant.
He deleted his nexus account because he got tired of people pointing and laughing at how out of place and shitty his mods are. You're expecting him to put actual thought into what he's doing, but this is all just a job resume for him. He's hoping somebody at a big name game company will see his shitty Death Stranding or Cyberpunk 2077 mod and offer him a job.
Everything he's made has as much subtilty as that mod that put Thomas the Tank Engine into Skyrim. I'm genuinely disgusted by this guy right now. Degenerates like him belong on a cross.
first i guess (dont ask how i commented 3 hours before this was uploaded)
really good video, the guy that makes the mods is such a lovely dude
I think having voice actors is cool and all, but they all don't seem to belong there, it's like they don't really acknowledge that they've been living in shits-vile and are all "cheerful" and "Bubbly" when living in a literal dump, what im trying to say is that they don't /sound/ like they've had hard lives like most besides those born in the institute.
I am halfway in and i wouldnt say these mods are "so good you think they were made by obsidian" most of it is modern memes and humor from reddit repackaged as lore friendly because they use vanilla assets. This is probably because you hate "overmoded" fallout which is just a way of saying better graphics. Obsidian had much more dark and serious writing than this mod, so i guess you could say these mods feel like they were made by the outer worlds obsidian. I was expecting something like ashes 2063 which is where the music is from at the beginning of the video and instead i got fallout 4 and the outer worlds.
That Jaws Unleashed clip at the end brought me wayyyy back lmao
This was an awesome Video thank you so much Mutant Mods! I love this a lot.
Bruh come on
How the hell does the assault rifle from CoD makes sense in new vegas? Or a damn black hole launcher and other shit like this, SPACE MARINE ARMOR? U gotta be kidding, how is that different from MLP mod?
You’d think obsidian made theese mods, yeah sure 🤣
fr
As I mentioned there are no ways of obtaining the weapon outside of a vendor you must choose to download. And I think we can agree that this gun & some like it are clear outliers from the mod. Whereas the majority of its content is very fitting in Fallout.
@@Mutant_Mods tanner's website is a mess, his voice acting is terrible but its literally tied to your experience to talk to vlad and half of his guns and armors honestly just exist to take up space, real quantity over quality there
the machinegun that tells you the people you killed did not cover their mouth when coughing or demanded they call the managers is cringe. A least have them do something actually evil. Or maybe base it on their karma.
Would love you to do a video on the best player home mods for new vegas! Great vid as usual!
I really like the the baby mod idea. I think it has great potential to be a full on plot for a DLC style mod in a new location.
The same Obsidian that made Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel and the painfully forgettable Outerworlds? I'll pass.
New Vegas set high expectations for Outer Worlds & it didn’t live up. But to call it forgettable is madness. That game was very unique. At least to me.
Obsidian never made Fallout: Brotherhood of Steel. What are you talking about? A different company made that game.
interplay entertainment made brotherhood of stell
Johnny Silverhand's left arm is metal, not his right. It's still preem though
Great work for both the Modders and you creating this compilation! Your work makes me wish less for a nuclear winter this July, cheers and keep up the good work!

A shame some of his stuff looked cool.

@@pinknolan No, I have principles, I'm not going to endorse someone's work when *they* have clearly ingrained politics into *their* personality so greatly.
