I like the fact that Bake button exist that much that it doesn't
i am using blender 2.93 and in diffusion section there is no viscosity presets but there is a option just above diffusion showing viscosity what should i do i am really not understanding it

Hi I was wondering if you can help. I've followed the tutorial but I am not seeing any liquid. The only difference that I have found between the version of blender that your using and the latest version is that under diffusion it only has the Base, Exponent and surface tension values and not the real world size value.

no bake option in cycles or eve :C
How do you bake? If I start the playback nothing happens.
Are fluid sims broken? The fluid particles don't show up in the scene I'm trying to add them, but on a new scene without any assets they will show up fine.
Oh, it might be that the scale of the domain or the emitter is off, try pressing (ctrl + A) and apply the scale (you can find the scale by pressing (N) in the viewport, all 3 values in the item tab should be at 1.000). It might also help to check if the domain and the emitter is in liquid "mode". If all that doesn't help you might need to recreate the scene.. Hopefully that helped you 😊
@@Anico123Design I've figured it out. It's the default baking method. You need to change from replay to something else to manualy bake the sim

this is great but i never find a blood simulation tutorial where the blood sticks at the area, it touches :( do you know how that functions? if yes, can you make a video also?

after baking data in 256 resolution...it doesnt appear as urs. can you tell me what data to insert.
You might have to apply the scale. Select the domain, press [ ctrl + A ] and click Scale, repeat that with the emitter objects and bake again. Hope it’ll work for you now :)

Oh yes, it was changed a bit in newer versions of Blender.
Now you have to go down all the way in the domain object to where you find Cache and expand that window, and switch the Type from Replay (plays as soon as the timeline moves) to Modular or All for the baking stuff to appear. "Is Resumable" might be a good thing to enable too while you're there.

Help, I cant select the blood to apply the material. It only gets applied to the hole box!
select the liquid domain, anything else to get the blood to be red

Help, I am doing your tutorial but I can't get the dude to ask me to play Apex Legends so that I can decline his invitation. Is that step important, or can I skip it and go straight to adding the mesh for the blood?
It's risky, but I think you should be fine skipping this step! 😅

as a beginner had to abandon this tutorial because is really too fast, can't follow at all.

I haven't got any button called "Bake Data" :(
The blender guys changed it a bit up, now you have to select the domain, scroll all the way down to the Cache and switch the Type from Replay (simulating while playing animations) to either Modular (bake everything individually) or All (Bakes everything at once)

I am unsure how to add the mesh to it
I just watched the part where I was talking about the Mesh and I realized that I said it a bit wired, you add the mesh in the liquid domain (where you baked the particles, it's not a new object) by scroll down to where it says "Mesh" with a checkbox left to it, check the checkbox and thats where you can bake the mesh. I hope that that fixed the problem 😊

At 38 sec "type in quick fluid" but you choose Quick Liquid. At 51sec "increase the length of the Cache" doesn't exist! If the background wasn't blurry maybe it would give me a hint as to where it might be. Too confusing, thumbs down :(
how at all is it his fault
the video goes too fast. It makes it hard to understand you. You rush through the last half. so that's why I had to give it a thumbs down. BTW, I am aware of the ability to pause and back up. But the number of times I had to do it, it becomes a waste of time. Take your time and create quality vids or don't do it at all. Quick is not always best. my opinion.
