Bulldog, you make a fine point. I'm a home mechanic because I have too. Chilton's manuals and now Haynes for my vehicles have been my 'fixit bibles'. That being said, I will not get anything for my vehicles that I cannot 'look someone in the eyes' whether ordering and/or if it's a misfit. This has worked out well for me because most of the shops I deal with know my rig and know what I've been making right on it. I got a gal now who runs the shop here that fits a lot of farmers tractors and she's always spot on with my needs as well. Thanks for the vid buddy. Hope you folks warm up soon. G>
This is footage from last January but it worked out since it went from 70° to below freezing this week too. I did work at home for years as well and I always preached about parts quality. This video was actually twice as long (which is why it feels like it jumped forward) but I cut out quite a bit since I felt like I just griped and rambled. New footage is coming, the jobs lately have been pretty intense and not conducive to filming.
@@bulldogsautomotiveadventur4387 I just work on my own stuff not other folks. Probably 40 years ago we lived in the mountains and mechanics were few and far between. I had to learn to get my basic parts and stuff done or else be out a ride. It stayed with me.
