As an Urdu speaking person in Karachi I love Ashaji’s Marathi recordings. Some recordings are superb to the point that they dazzle me to the point that I feel there will never ever be a female singer of this calibre. It is sad and ironical that she has not been given the BHARAT RATNA. Shameful! But music is understood by few and certainly not the powerful in DELHI
We do not care why she was not given Bharat Ratna along with Lataji. Her place in our hearts is more than any award given to her. She is eternal and inimitable. Not just musically but even as a person. Her confidence in herself has won her all the accolades.

In marathi the music is close to Divine.i like all her songs n mararhi so fs i live to sing n feel me happy.
