I love this actor, he’s so humble. He’s also an activist in Mexico fighting for the rights of indigenous people.

I'm for all of that. I'm learning more than I knew about the Mexican people. I loved the representation I saw on screen. Can't speak for the full accuracy of all of it, but from what I've been reading the last few days, there hasn't been much other than praise for the Namor character and his story.
Mexico is already torn to pieces.
And sadly some Mexicans keep saying he needs to get over it and that racism doesn’t exist 🤦🏽♂️
He also dislikes mestizos and white mexicans that are not allowed in the "conversation" dividing Mexico's society between the "privileged" and the "poor underprivileged" that love to live off government aid; He's also a communist who supports totalitarian regimes like what's happening in Cuba and Venezuela and he fights against the dark native mexican stereotype yet the moment he was offered a big check in dollar$ he had no problem embracing the cliche of an indigenous person
I like how he explained why it wasn't required for him to bulk up to look like the original Namor in the comics. As a swimmer it is more realistic to have a slimmer frame, but strong core. Think about Olympic swimmers, they aren't jacked, but are some of the most strongest athletes to compete on a professional level. I love this honest and detailed approach to a more realistic aquatic lifestyle.

I was unaware that this was even happening! Tenoch is fine AF, and a ton of people agree with me. And I say this as a very long time pro-wrestling (and MMA) fan who's used to seeing guys who use gear. His body looks great to me, and his body type suits the role.

Very different from all the actors blasting gear. What sucks is that no one probably notices, so his transformation is just overshadowed
I love his personality. There is something so sweet, charming and endearing about him while being charismatic. He makes you chuckle with his goofiness. Hes not “too cool for other” like a lot of Hollywood actors.

Personally I LOVE that they changed Namor and the Atlanteans to be more like the Aztecs/Mayans (I'm not 100% sure which)

Yeah....... funny how that works 🤣🤣🤣 people don't realize that the hateful comments and following are drawing attention and focus to the person/ thing they hate and giving it more visibility. Debating if an actor is natural or not and how realistic a person looks or how effective their workout is just brings more traffic to men's health 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿

What i really like about him is that even though he admited that didn't know how to swim he lied to get the role and now for the character he has done free diving and learn to swim, that shows compromise with the Namor role, as a mexican myself hope he kills it as the sub-mariner

This training just isn't enough. Needs heavy weights within the 8 - 15 rep range 4 days per week and mobility, power and durability work on the 5th day. This type of training was never going to make him look the part.
@@alexpearce4040 Sure, but this is a puff piece for a magazine. They’re paying a camera crew for a shoot that lasts 2 or 3 hours. They’re not following this guy around for a week filming him at the gym.

I hate how everyone came for his body and said he wasn’t fit enough. He looked good to me because I don’t really care for the super fit Thor types. Plus if the roles was reversed and it was a female character people would have went insane.
