Hey Drew Love what you do you inspired me to install this same kind of roof on my mobile home I live in Rockford Illinois out of curiosity what product did you use to paint the roof that's the only thing I need to do to mine and how many do you think I would need for a 14 x 70 roof and if it wouldn't be too much to ask how much do you typically charge to do a roof do you price it out by square footage if so how much if you don't mind me asking
2 5 gallon bucketts
start by installing a thin coat then let it sit 24 hrs
install the rest of the kool seal it should be good then for a couple yrs
That facia flashing ... or the flashing you were installing at 4:18. I would think that having that extend up UNDER the roofing material would be a "better" vs the leaving a vertical opening at the edge of the roof where water could drive up under the roofing then run back down and find an opening to run behind the flashing?
I wouild have thought a 2inch on the flat of the roof would make a more water tight system. Not sure I heard if there was an explanation as to why not.
Watch the video it does go up underneath the rubber we would never expose the top of the rubber to the weather

Where do you get one of them hand held things that man ran down the tin and cut it...also where can you get one of them contraption you are bending the metal with and what's it called...I want one
It’s called a cutting head for a metal break. Some people use a utility knife and they’ll run the utility knife down. The metal metal break came with a cutter. You can get metal brakes in different sizes. Mine is 12 foot six. You can buy an 8 foot metal break for less than $2000, you can buy the cutterhead when you buy the metal brake

mr drew, do you use 45mm, or 60mm e.p.d.m.?and i am looking at doing a 12x50 mobile, but am finding material in 10 ,or15 wide only,and length at 50.or 60, seems like a lot of wasted money to buy a 15x60 roll to cover 12x50?? any suggestions sir?
Actually, it is a perfect amount of rubber because you want extra plus remember you’re going to add to the size of it by increasing the overhang size so if it was me, I would buy that 15 x 60‘ piece. Not sure who sells that but I buy my material from ABC Supply. I’m sure there’s one around you. If you need a total list of material for that job, I can let you know what it is actually have it on one of my videos.

This is called a 'roof over' and is a fairly standard process for mobile home roof repair. Metal roofs, especially on older mobile homes, aren't exactly as easy to service like you would on a stick built home.
Yes, actually it is. That’s exactly what I do all the time except for my roof is way more sturdy so yes that is exactly what the homeowner wanted. He found me by watching my other videos of us doing the exact same thing.

Don’t worry about the dips the one by four is will take care of that when you put them on it will be above the dips and then the plywood will be above that
On youtube key in farts they will have you bent over laughing with use use their pooter around people in public.
