Thank you for this! Every time I watch one of your videos I learn something new. This time it was an Embrilliance tip (I love Embrilliance too but probably not enjoying all of its features). I had no idea one could copy and paste designs. Thanks!
Thank you again for such a thorough tutorial. I am planning on making pillow covers for gifts, and this video really helped. I do plan on using a pillow form so I can make a few different covers they can change out without having to store a pillow. My kids have small homes with very limited storage. Again thanks for the tutorial. I also use Embrilliance and really love it. There are lots of tutorials on how to use it. Also, does the cutaway stabilizer make the pillow top stiff?
I just have Essentials. I don't know much about Alpha Tricks but need to look into it. I did just upgrade to Stitch Artist Level 2 so now I'm starting to digitize :)
Hi Karlie, would embroidery be ok for basketball shorts? I'm not seeing many people do it, but perhaps because some shorts have the little holes in them? What do you think?
Hi Kae, yes I think it can be done however it would depend on how large and dense the design is in order to determine how much stabilizer you would need. I would start with trying fusible poly mesh, then float it on cutaway.
Thanks for the video it is interesting. The only thing I don’t like is the music on the background it really don’t let me focus on what I’m trying to learn.
Hi Cindy, Sorry I missed your question here but I know we spoke in the Facebook group. In case anyone else has this question I have not have any trouble with thread melting using the Exquisite brand. However that is not the case for New Brothread like you have told me. So always use a teflon sheet or piece of parchment paper on top the design just to be safe :)
Marthese Cilia it’s called Embrilliance Essentials and I highly recommend getting it. I use it every time I set up some to embroider. www.embrilliance.com/jamaffiliates/aff_tools/karliebelle/tool/text_links/16
Hi Michelle, you can find it at Joy Kate Designs www.joykatedesigns.com/p/the-gavin-scribble-stitch-applique-font/ref/12/?campaign=AppliqueusingSilhouette

Great Idea!!
I’m glad u are showing how to use the 5x12 repositional hoop. A lot of creators seem to forget about that one.
Thank you! Yes I love this hoop :)

Glad it was helpful! The cut away stabilizer makes it stiff at first, but after you wash it, it softens up.
InstaBlaster...
Do you use AlphaTricks along with Essentials, or do you just manipulate the Essentials to space or resize?

Thank you for letting me know that its distracting. I will try to use it less in my next videos.
I have a question about the thread that you used. I thought Embroidery thread melts? How did you iron your appliques?
