@@giantrobby5050 That's exactly what happened! The media twisted the story so they could capitalize on making the news story popular. I don't see what Sheldon did was wrong or a communist action. The man at the bread company either lied to him or was unaware that the new corporation did something to the bread to change its taste. I've noticed this in various foods over the years.
Why. It turned out to be an entirely justified attempt to curb communism. People had suspected that communism had infected much of the country and it was true. Major figures were actually communist.
Wrong, there was no "red scare" except in the minds of the far-left creeps who were reds themselves. The Soviets murdered millions with their failed 5 years plans, they exterminated the Kulaks, and executed countless innocent human beings. Red China was even worse. Mao Tse Tung was the biggest mass murderer in human history. And lets not forget Eastern Europe, North Korea, Albania, and the countless other countries communism infected. Communism has a consistent record of dismal failure. So yes, seems like a very logical thing to fear, hate and detest! We should have gone much further in eradicating communism in the Western World. We're now faced with the withered disgusting corpse of communism rising from the dead, and seeking total power once again. Fight it any and every way you can, shame them, denounce them, and expose them. Spread the truth, because communists hate truth. Treat them like your worst enemy, because they are. I love how they put meemaw scenes out of context
I love Young Sheldon so much. I haven't even watch the entire TBBT series but I so much love the characters in its prequel. No offense though, laugh tracks and akward pauses after almost each line is just not my cup of tea but I watched a number of clips of TBBT before deciding to watch Young Sheldon.
Look up the clip of them playing pictionary if you haven't already. I know laugh tracks and awkward pauses aren't your thing, but I genuinely think the clip would still hold up with or without a laugh track.
@@nickronca1562 I mean I had my few laughts watching some clips particularly the one where they played pictionary but watching the entire series or a season at least is really not that great of an experience when compared to its prequel. Again, this is just my fair share of preferences
Same here.

You can't criticize capitalism in America 😂
Untrue. Glorifying Communism isn't the same as criticizing Capitalism. Also many Free Market Classical Liberals don't like the term Capitalism which was developed by Communists in the first place. See? You CAN criticize Capitalism!
@@Seastallion Let any influential person dare to criticize capitalism in the US and see how everyone will think he/she drinks from the same cup as Xi or Putin. Lol
@@vervetech9395
That depends entirely upon the nature of the criticisms. Americans CONSTANTLY criticize American economic policies, including very influential ones. That isn't necessarily the same as pushing for a collectivist ideology.
Where's the freedom if that's the case
@@RHaYE
It's not true, just hyperbole.
Remind me, why are they suspected of being communists? Was this the episode where Sheldon was buying a crapload of smoke detectors to harvest the nuclear material for a small reactor to power their house?
I'd also like to know. His mom said something about a sandwich, but I don't know what you have to do to get from a sandwich to communism :D
@@labinot1363 I looked it up, i was thinking of the wrong episode. Sheldon noticed the bread in his sandwich tasted vaguely different, and discovered a corporate merger of the company that produced the bread he liked, and were using cheaper ingredients and production means. He petitioned outside the supermarket and the news picked up the story but twisted his words into making him look like a communist, which he didn’t deny after taking a moment to think about the rationalization
@@giantrobby5050 thank you! Now that you said it, I kinda remember the beginning of the episode. But I don't remember any of the rest so I must have not continued watching it :D
Sheldon finds out the bread is usually buys is different because of an acquisition, goes on the news and suggests a new system that gets twisted to sound like he is suggesting a communist system for texas
This accurately portrays the Red Scare, something that should’ve never have happened.
Why. It turned out to be an entirely justified attempt to curb communism. People had suspected that communism had infected much of the country and it was true. Major figures were actually communist.
No those Communists want to steal our awesome American way of life because they hate living in dank cold government housing
disagree
I'm not afraid to call out commie lies, I'm also not afraid to punch communists right in the face.
@@theoneandonly7019 so you agree with mass propaganda to manipulate the general population?

1:16 this shows idea of a cafeteria so hilariously undersized when you think about it. This cafeteria would be able to seat maybe one class at a time lol.
Maybe it's just a part of it. Our college cafeteria has corners that look a bit like that even though it's super big.
I just can't ever stop laughing about Meemaw every time I see this episode LOL😂🤣
Memmaw is incredibly funny😅😂😂😂😂
Meewma's vocals were something, she gives live to that show after Georgie she's my favourite ❤😂

0:57 no way meemaw is singing something with the British national anthem melody, while waving the American flag 🙏😭
Apparently before the star spangled banner was the official one.
My Country ‘tis of Thee by Samuel Francis smith was also a de facto national anthem.
And yes it copied the melody of the British anthem
There's patriotic songs in Dutch, French,... etc in the same tune. Even an Indian classical song about a Goddess was made based on inspiration from the same tune
