I started my working career in the late 80's, a real job making real money working with men that had families, mortgages, car payments and the rest. So to make an extra hundred dollars a week meant 8 hours of overtime. George, after being offered the raise, quickly getting up and walking out while accepting the raise, I busted out laughing.

I was sick of the hypocrisy of everyone, so I stay. Almost everyone is hypocrite in some aspect of life, and the very few that are not are mostly crazy and dangerous.
By the jewish law it is a legit yamaka. On jewish holidays when we pray before the dinner, we usually wear yamakas also as seculars/atheists. When it's a big event there no enough yamakas for everyone so we just put napkins.

I did the same when I was the same age🤯 Even refused to make the first communion and to go to the christmas mass( or any, but the christmas one was a big deal.) 1. There are many languages where the alphabet is called that, without people being aware. Even Italian, which developed from Latin. 2. There is no evidence that Yeshua (Jesus) was a rabbi. His trade was carpentry. When Jesus ascended to heavens, His disciples (all Jewish) all became Christ-followers (christianus). They even gathered in synagogues for a while. Judaism and Christianity should have never been apart
It's not just Hebrew, but many languages in general start with A and B. For the 2nd question, you pretty much answered it yourself. Jesus's students were Jews as was he.
To answer the second question, it’s because Jewish doctrine was only required to be followed by Jews, so Christian Gentiles did not have to, at least that’s what’s most commonly accepted by Pauline Christianity.

Remember this was the 80s. My dad once told me that in the 70s that his driving lessons was two pound fifty and the rent was between £4.60 and £5 which he stated at that time was expensive so I can believe it. Nowadays we can blow five pounds on a pint of alcohol, bag of chips (fries for anyone American), etc without thinking twice but back then that was rent.
He got a raise of $100 a week. That was sufficient to cater to one more baby in the late 80s/early 90s. His present salary was already sufficient to take care of the 5 existing members of the family.
In my youth, I knew several young people of Christian backgrounds who wanted to convert to Judaism. The interest didn’t last long enough for any of them to follow through, though. A lot of great scientists were Christians. I don’t know how many were Baptists, though.

I thought to add another reason 1 month later as an update from above, that Christianity might be Pagan with Jesus being a Trinity while the commandment says to only to believe in 1 God. Christians and Jews do NOT worship the same God. It's a popular misconception stemming from the Christian desire to convert people. They figure if they spread the false information that Jews and Christians worship the same God, it'll be easier to convince Jews to convert. Also, the Old Testament is the Torah. Christians have the New Testament, which we do not have and do not recognize. I'm not saying Judaism is better, just that there's a lot of misconceptions about us. Additionally, unlike Christianity, Judaism is an ethnicity, culture, and religion. There are a ton of atheistic Jews who are still 100% Jews. Christianity doesn't work like that. We also don't force or mass convert people.

There is Catholics which believes in the Trinity. This is the Religion I believe you are talking about where Jesus is God. There is also the Unitarian form which is the area I might fall in line along with still believing in most Jewish practices except for something like circumcision (This would make me reform if I convert) after looking in the Exodus and gospel of John using the King James Version of the Bible that might point to the Unitarian point of view that God is separated from Jesus. John 12:26-30. To my understanding, Jesus himself was Jewish while he was on Earth and didn't give us much plan after his death and came back to life. However, I still find it difficult to pinpoint exactly about who the Messiah is due to much debate even the bible shows the debate. The best thing we can do if the answer would be revealed is to wait for the coming of the Messiah either Jesus and/or a different Jewish Messiah which John also asked while he was in prison. 😅 Just my current thoughts. For what you believe in is up to you. I also eventually found out I'm slightly Ashkenazi. 😎

Different Jews have different heritages there’s sefardim, Ashkenazim, Yemenites, etc… and that’s perfectly fine. If you’re Jewish you’re Jewish regardless of your heritage. And a converts children are ethnically Jewish as well. In fact, a lot of Jews today wouldn’t be Jewish by that logic.

Why is it “Americans” learn the “Alphabet” in Elementary school, which is named after the first two letters of the Hebrew language: “Aleph” & “Bet” ?

My dad once told me that in the 70s that his driving lessons was two pound fifty and the rent was between £4.60 and £5 which he stated at that time was expensive so I can believe it. Nowadays we can blow five pounds on a pint of alcohol, bag of chips (fries for anyone American), etc without thinking twice but back then that was rent.
He got a raise of $100 a week. That was sufficient to cater to one more baby in the late 80s/early 90s. His present salary was already sufficient to take care of the 5 existing members of the family.

In my youth, I knew several young people of Christian backgrounds who wanted to convert to Judaism. The interest didn’t last long enough for any of them to follow through, though.
A lot of great scientists were Christians. I don’t know how many were Baptists, though.

Christians and Jews do NOT worship the same God. It's a popular misconception stemming from the Christian desire to convert people. They figure if they spread the false information that Jews and Christians worship the same God, it'll be easier to convince Jews to convert.
Also, the Old Testament is the Torah. Christians have the New Testament, which we do not have and do not recognize.
I'm not saying Judaism is better, just that there's a lot of misconceptions about us. Additionally, unlike Christianity, Judaism is an ethnicity, culture, and religion. There are a ton of atheistic Jews who are still 100% Jews. Christianity doesn't work like that. We also don't force or mass convert people.

I thought to update. But after further investigation, I know there are different forms of Christianity. There is Catholics which believes in the Trinity. This is the Religion I believe you are talking about where Jesus is God. There is also the Unitarian form which is the area I might fall in line along with still believing in most Jewish practices except for something like circumcision (This would make me reform if I convert) after looking in the Exodus and gospel of John using the King James Version of the Bible that might point to the Unitarian point of view that God is separated from Jesus. John 12:26-30. To my understanding, Jesus himself was Jewish while he was on Earth and didn't give us much plan after his death and came back to life.
However, I still find it difficult to pinpoint exactly about who the Messiah is due to much debate even the bible shows the debate. The best thing we can do if the answer would be revealed is to wait for the coming of the Messiah either Jesus and/or a different Jewish Messiah which John also asked while he was in prison. 😅
Just my current thoughts. For what you believe in is up to you. I also eventually found out I'm slightly Ashkenazi. 😎
