About Young Sheldon:

@@Kai88988 well Sheldon didn't go into science for the money, but for the pursuit of knowledge and putting his intellect to use for humanity's scientific advancement. As a result he won a Novel Prize and a pretty good deal of wealth along with the award.

I'd have to agree based on what I've seen of the two shows so far. Adult Sheldon is obnoxious. Howard is a creep. Penny is a B. Bernadette is a witch. And it's gets tiresome to see poor Leonard getting pushed around by EVERYBODY. Only person I like on that show is Amy. This show seems cute though.

The main problem by tutoring math is that the most people are not on the level they should be. For example if someone is fighting with roots and potencies you will never be able teach them equations. If someone is fighting with plus, minus, multiplication and division this person will have always problems with fractional calculation.
The teacher can be as good as possible but that it is not the mistake of the tutor. The person had to sit down and learn.
Today he understand that topic later he can not repeat it
A teacher had to recognise where are the holes that can be the one and only mistake that is making the teacher if he knows what he is doing

Depends on the school system.
Mine had it so Freshmen had Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, or Geometry; Sophomores had Algebra I, Geometry, or Algebra II; Juniors had Geometry, Algebra II, or Pre-Calculus; and Seniors could do Senior Transition (Review of Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II), Pre-Calculus, Calculus, or Physics.
Funny enough, more people went into Pre-Calculus instead of going into Senior Transition for the easy way out. The reason many of them gave was because they couldn't stand the teacher.

Apparently so. In episode S9.E12 of TBBT when talking to Raj he describes prime numbers as being red, twin primes as being pink and smelling like gasoline, and Fudgesicles as tasting like the speed of light.

I hate to be that person but a coefficient is the number next to the variable. Eg 2x the coefficient is 2. The correct word is co-ordinate. Still a fantastic performance
But slope of the line is given by coefficients of x and y only. For example say equation of a line is 3y=2x+1 then slope is 2/3. So Sheldon is right
