Want a quick E-GMP car without as big of a loss to range? ruclips.net/video/CT4SLwHIXi8/видео.html

Really wanted the EV6 with the long range AWD option, but my local KIA was quite blunt saying that there were no orders going out this year left and any dealers would be marking up delivered ones they happened to get to $90k+, so I guess if KIA can’t keep their orders and dealerships from ripping people off, just going to disappointingly skip it.

Everyone bashes the range based on the EPA rating. The EPA must have tested using GT mode a lot because I have an EV6 GT, and driving in normal mode with occasional blasts in GT mode, I am getting between 250 to 260 miles of range in mixed driving (3.4 mi./ kWh for my first 700 miles of ownership). 3.4 miles/ kWh x 74 kWh of usable battery equals 252 miles.

That's an excellent performance, actually. It's always good news when you can top the EPA's estimate. Under promise and overdeliver is the way to do business.

It gets a little annoying when so many reviewers and commenters talk about the abysmal range and that it’s a dealbreaker. First of all, I thought that 206 miles was enough considering the car’s performance. Getting more than that is a nice bonus. Most reviewers drive the car hard, so the range will suffer. When you own the car, you realize that you really don’t need to drive in GT mode with a heavy foot all the time. Normal Mode gives you all the power you need in most situations. When you want to let ‘er rip, just tap the green button. Re: Range. I charged the car a couple of days ago and the projected range was in fact the EPA rated 206 miles - with an 80% charge!

The Ioniq 6 has a similar car design (but a sedan). No clue what it is. Asked a product planner. Also no clue. LOL

@@EVPulse it's like a leftover CAD model of all E-GMP models. I don't entirely hate it but it'd be even cooler if it was the Staria for bonus incongruity.

Great observation! During testing, I didn't even notice. I think the vehicle is what Midjourney popped out after being prompted with "generic, boxy hatchback."
      Thanks for watching and commenting!
