    🔥 Frequently Asked Questions:
Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on RUclips yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthevideo.com/ and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyrobin.com The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyrobin.com/crochet...

What a super video! Love everything about it. Terrific tutorial with beautiful yarns and a gorgeous pattern. And I am in love with that joining method---I've always hated the ridge that I get when joining motifs. If I can master this joining technique, it will give me so many more variations to try with favorite patterns as well as new ones. Thank you so very much!!

You are very welcome! I don't like ridge joins either; I've only ever done one blanket with ridged join and I don't really like how it feels on my lap - I'll always do a flat type join alternative if I can! 😃

I love this scrap yarn pattern. Thank you for this very descriptive tutorial. I've been looking for a simple scrap yarn blanket pattern to use up all the leftover project yarn I have for months now. The way you connect each hexagon to the others is brilliant! My blanket has 8 pieces so far & loving the braided look joins, as I didn't want to have tons of granny squares and then have to connect them all together at the end. Your way, you just dc them together as you go, weave in ends as you go & it is a very simple pattern, yet looks more modern than the regular granny scrap blankets.
