Timing off on 2002 Dodge Intrepid 3 5L

while doing a timing belt, we found the cause of rich and lean running conditions and multiple check engine light codes on the vehicle were caused by improperly installed timing belt

Should post what the good timing looks like. They aren’t always perfect but that’s way off.

How do you fix this? Can you remove the timing belt and turn the two camshaft sprockets to the position they need to be and then re-install the timing belt?

Yes you can..make sure the crankshaft top dead Centre Mark is lined up then remove the belt then move the camshaft sprockets to there marks..be careful because the camshaft sprockets could spring back or forth so watch your fingers..
